A fantastic Kenyan safari experience
We had a truly wonderful trip through Kenya. The country is beautiful, the people are incredibly kind and welcoming, and we saw so much amazing wildlife and nature.
A special mention must go to our guide, Justus, who was absolutely fantastic. His knowledge of the parks, animals and birds was impressive, and nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He was a wonderful companion throughout the trip and did everything he could to make our experience as enjoyable as possible.
From the safari to our stay at the coast in Diani Beach, we had so many unforgettable experiences — including seeing dolphins up close and amazing snorkelling at Kisite Marine Park.
We would like to thank Jacqueline for organising such a wonderful trip and, above all, Justus for making it so special. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to discover Kenya!

Incredible time at Murchison falls National Park
We travelled a group of 4 and we really enjoyed our trip, it was our first trip in Uganda and it exceeded our expectations, everything was well planned and organized, Jacqueline kept the communication clear throughout, and our guide Geoffrey was professional ,friendly and never rushed us, we enjoyed the game drives, we saw all the animals, the boat cruise was fun and getting close to the falls was so beautiful ,we had a memorable experience with Africa Horizon Safaris and would definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience, dream come true.
Firstly, I would like to thank Jacqueline who was my first point of contact in organising the trip. She was very helpful, friendly, with great communication and response times.
Secondly, our allocated guide Patrick. The most lovely person and it was a great pleasure to spend our days with him. He was able to answer any questions we had about our tour and Rwanda as a whole. He got us from A to B safely and was always waiting for us with a smile on his face.
We stayed at the Tiloreza Lodge about 10 mins from Volcanoes National Park. The staff were fantastic. On arrival, after our very tiring gorilla trek, we had our hiking boots taken, cleaned, along with a bonus and well needed foot massage (bliss). There was a good selection of food for lunch/dinner. The evening of the stay we were even given hot water bottles incase we were cold.
The trip with the gorillas was an absolute dream come true for us. The golden monkeys were also an amazing addition to our trip.
All in all, I highly recommend this company and a huge thanks to Jacqueline for organising and Patrick our amazing guide.

Our tour operator had excellent customer care, was very respectful, friendly and patient with us.
I travelled with my husband on the tour, the overall service provided was great, time was well managed throughout the trip, the accommodation and meals were worthwhile, the tour operator was patient with us, did not rush the tour so we got to enjoy the tour which was at Murchison falls national game park, we saw all the animals, went for a boat ride and crowned it up with the beautiful falls. The tour operator kept us engaged and he clearly knew what he was doing which gave us a lot of confidence moving with him. We really had a great time, kindly book with Africa Horizon Safaris.

Almost Perfect
Africa Horizon Safaris was an absolute pleasure to work with as they arranged our recent gorilla and monkey trekking adventures in Volcanoes National Park. Communication was excellent, keeping us apprised exactly what we were getting, when our payments were needed to be made, and successful acquisition of the permits. Our guide/driver also kept us well informed as to what we were doing and when and where we needed to be the next morning.
During the morning shuffle prior to treks, the guide stayed with us and pointed us in the right direction. The only negative, was that it seemed our guide was a little inexperienced as a driver and couldn't manage to engage the 4WD on the vehicle, which is definitely necessary at certain points. So one of the other vehicles in our group had to come back for us and give us a lift. It did not impact our day at all, other than a small inconvenience to switch vehicles for last 5 minutes of the journey. The driver was honestly the nicest person in the world, but just a little green. We have no doubt he will be excellent with some more experience.
The Five Volcanoes Hotel that they used for lodging was absolutely phenomenal. The post trek foot massages and cleaning of our boots, poles and gators were very, very welcome. Food options were perhaps a little limited, but everything was delicious and of high quality. Rooms were enormous, palatial really and very calming. We only spent one night, but it is a place you could spend days at comfortably. Beds were a bit squeaky to think of it.
All in all, a very memorable experience, capably handled by Africa Horizon Safaris. We would not hesitate to use them again in the future, perhaps for an Akagera safari? Who knows!

A day trip to Ngamba island
This was a wonderful tour. We saw the chimpanzees, watched them play. It was a day well spent. Thank you to Jacqueline and the professional guides.

Honest and understanding
We enjoyed our trip, the guide (Drake) was very understanding and he seemed genuinely happy to be with us, his commentry on different aspects og the journey, insights into the attractions and activities was very useful. He was accomodative of our schedule and situation as the trip progressed and the fact that he also appeared to enjoy the activities was great.
