Fantastic safari in Tanzania with Topy Tours – an unforgettable experience!
Together with my wife, I enjoyed a truly fantastic safari in Tanzania from October 6th to 15th, organized by Topy Tours. From the very first moment, we were captivated by the stunning landscapes, the impressive natural surroundings, and the remarkable encounters with wild animals. This trip exceeded all our expectations and provided us with memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
Our driver-guide, Ben, made this safari extra special. He is not only incredibly sociable and friendly but also highly knowledgeable and deeply committed. Ben knows the natural world inside out and knew exactly where to go to witness extraordinary moments. He often spotted animals before we even noticed them, sharing insights about their behavior, the environment, and life in Tanzania with great enthusiasm. He also spoke engagingly—and with a wonderful sense of humor—about the local culture and various other aspects of the country. Thanks to his driving skills, keen eye, and immense dedication, we felt safe and completely at ease throughout the entire journey.
An absolute highlight was the migration at the Mara River. Over the course of three days, we were fortunate enough to witness four impressive river crossings. It was breathtaking to watch the animals gather, feel the mounting tension, and finally see the herds cross the river. These were such intense and unique moments that we still find ourselves talking about them frequently. Thanks to Ben, we were always positioned in the perfect spot to experience this natural spectacle up close.
Furthermore, during the safari, we had the pleasure of seeing the "Big Five." From lions relaxing in the grass to elephants moving calmly across the landscape, every day brought a new surprise. Ben never ceased to amaze us with his knowledge and enthusiasm, turning every game drive into an experience in its own right.
Topy Tours is a young organization that clearly places a high priority on customer satisfaction. They truly listen to you and actively work with you to plan your trip. If something doesn’t go as expected, they take it seriously and look for a solution to turn a potentially negative experience into a positive one—something we greatly appreciated. The value for money is also excellent.
We look back on this wonderful safari with immense pleasure and gratitude. The nature, the wildlife, the extraordinary crossing of the Mara River, and—above all—Ben’s expert and enthusiastic guidance made this trip unforgettable. We honestly cant say enough good things about Topy and Joseph our guide. We have just had the best holiday of our lives and have experienced so many amazing highlights thanks to Joseph and the Topy team.
Sophia, Jackson and Topy were so helpful from the start. Our accommodation was all fantastic, delicious food and comfortable beds and feeling like we were in the heart of the Serengeti in our Safari Haven Camps. A delicious cooked lunch each day to have out on our adventure meant we never went hungry (where most other groups we saw had packed sandwiches)
The guide will always be the most important part of a Safari trip and we had the best with Joseph, 13 years experience and just so extremely knowledgeable and passionate about all the parks we visited. We were so lucky to have so many individual and unique encounters with Lions, Leopards and Cheetahs and everything else that Joseph found first, giving us plenty of time to enjoy just us and the animals. You could tell all the other guides had a huge amount of respect for him and we were told multiple times we had the best guide and we knew it. This is the best part of going with a smaller and passionate team rather than a large company that all rush to the same encounters that we would always see aswell, but trusting Joseph to bring us to find the best Safari experience each day made this the best holiday we'll ever have.

Responsive operator and excellent wildlife on our northern circuit with Topy Tours.
We just returned from a seven-day northern circuit safari with Topy Tours and was very impressed. We covered Tarangire, two full days in the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. Jackson was always responsive and helpful from the planning stage right through the trip.
Our guide Paul was excellent with 30 years of experience. He got us the big five, plus a cheetah, crocodiles, mongoose, and two leopards. We also saw a wide variety of birds. The game viewing was consistent and well-timed.
The accommodations were very good. Escarpment was a highlight, and we also stayed at Moyo tented camp. The food was consistently good and everything was comfortable. One practical tip: if you are traveling in the dry season, bring a dust mask. You will need it.
Topy Tours took care of everything from start to finish. The itinerary is busy with early starts and full days, so be prepared for that. Overall, a solid operator and a memorable trip.

We decided to spend our honeymoon on an 8-day safari with Topy Tours, covering Tarangire, Central and Northern Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. We are extremely happy with our decision!
From the beginning, everything was very well organized. Jackson was always responsive and made sure all our wishes were included in the itinerary. When we arrived at the airport, Andre welcomed us with a big smile and drove us safely to Arusha.
A very special thank you goes to our guide, Josef, who made our safari truly unforgettable. He told us that he loves his job, and you can tell immediately. He is incredibly experienced and knows exactly where to look for the animals, even the ones that are difficult to find. Thanks to him, we saw every member of the Big Five multiple times, including both a black and a white rhino. We were also lucky enough to witness the Great Migration with a river crossing, see cheetah cubs, lion cubs, and countless other animals. Josef was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and a great driver. We learned so much from him and genuinely enjoyed every day of our safari together. Asante sana!

Skilled and reliable guides/operator
Me and my friend we just finished our 6-day Tanzania safari from Sep 27 to Oct 3. Can wait to leave a comment ! Our route covered Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and we were lucky to spot the Big Five all thanks to our amazing guide Ricky.
Ricky is passionate about lions and knows their habits extremely well. He located prides for us many times at close range. Whenever he heard predator sightings over the radio, he responded quickly. He kept our wishes in mind and helped us find hippos and buffalo we hoped to see. Sincere and gentle, and also very cute. Once you get familiar with him, he is funny and shares rich local culture.
Jackson is very quick responsive and all the accommodations arranged are beyond our expectations! Very decent guy and excellent experience with Topy!

Absolutely marvelous team
Topy Tours is one of the best safari companies in Tanzania. Sophia is an excellent organizer and Justine was just the best safari guide we possibly could have. Both were very friendly and with great humour. We went for the 8-day awe inspiring safari and it was actually the perfect time to discover all you can see in all national parks near Arusha. I won’t choose less days. All accommodations were gorgeous and food was excellent.

Amazing Safari With Topy Tours
Amazing safari with Topy Tours!
We had an incredible 8D/7N safari covering Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We saw two wildebeest river crossings, including lions hunting wildebeest during one crossing, black and white rhinos, lions feeding, leopards, hyenas, jackals, and even a dik-dik nursing its baby. We also witnessed vultures rushing in after a lion kill and a dramatic encounter between a hyena and a snake eagle. So many unforgettable moments!
A special thanks to our guide Joseph, who was extremely patient and dedicated. He got up very early every morning and spent hours looking for animals, often spotting things that we completely missed. He never rushed us and always gave us time to enjoy each sighting.
Jackson also did a great job handling the logistics and accommodation arrangements, including picking us up around midnight after our late flight. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the food was much better than we expected for a mid-range safari.
Overall, a truly memorable safari and a trip of a lifetime. Highly recommended!
