Excellent
Since the flight we were so comfortable and happy, then the safari guide and driver were always resolutive, kind and taking care of us. We extremely recommend the experience as we saw lions, wild dogs, elephants, zebras, cocodriles and many more because our driver was always fighting for see the best animals at the best views. Such a perfect experience!

Incredible
An amazing experience going to the Mikumi safari topped off with a fantastic tour guide and a generally well organised trip. We were picked up from our hotel at 5am as agreed, flight at 7am and straight into the car.
The driver and guide went above and beyond to give us a great experience, finding lions, elephants and all sorts of animals.
This was better than expected, we paid for the private tour and would do it again, although shared groups also looked really fun!
Definitely recommend this operator and will recommend to my friends/family.

Safari experience
Excellent experience 1st time was very nervous 1st, was very sceptical and worried, however I booked, the safari, and honestly it turned out to be an excellent service. Was picked up at hotel as promised on time, my luggage was taken by drivers, and taken care of was taken to airport and was kept informed of the next step at each place was shown where I will be picked up on return, and was then taken to the departures all with holding hands and honestly very very good experience don't hesitate just book and belive me very friendly staff from start to finish back to zanzibar even in the safari very friendly staff helpfull always explaining the safari and definitely recommend 5*****+

A reliable tour operator; everything went perfectly and was exactly as we’d hoped
We spent six days on a safari in northern Tanzania, visiting Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Ndutu, the Serengeti and Lake Manyara. We had agreed the itinerary and accommodation with Brian in advance and relied on his recommendations. Our guide, Patrick Kwaka, was with us from sunrise to sunset, showing us the most beautiful spots and as many animals as possible. We really enjoyed the safari!
The accommodation was good too, especially the tented camps in the middle of the wilderness.
We can’t recommend Kibo Mawenzi Safaris highly enough.

It was such a wonderful experience
This experience was really amazing. We saw a lot of animals since the beginning of the safari. Lions, éléphants, girafes… The lunch food, guide and reservation service were amazing. I recommend !

Just an amazing experience!
First of all, I would like to thank Kibo Mawenzi Safaris for the excellently organized one-day safari, which included hotel pick-up, drop-off, lunch and many more. Everything was arranged down to the last detail, and at no point did we feel alone or abandoned. Our driver, Mr. Ibrahim, provided excellent transport on both the outward and return journeys. Upon arrival at the safari, we met Deo, our tour guide. My friend Wessel and I couldn't have asked for a better guide; he is a man passionate about his profession and knowledgeable about everything. He took the time to answer all our questions—even teaching us a thing or two—and managed everything perfectly to ensure we had the ultimate experience. It was clear from everything that these people are highly experienced and truly know what they are doing. We saw so many animals—far too many to count. It was an experience we won't soon forget. We want to thank everyone involved for the amazing safari. Special thanks to our guide Deo. Good good, Yum Yum and Hakuna Matata. You’re a Legend 😉

Amazing One in a Lifetime Experience!
An unforgettable safari experience!
This safari was a gift for my wife, and it turned out to be an experience we’ll never forget. Everything was organised for us, including the transfers, flights and food. We were picked up from our hotel early and on time, then met at the airport and guided all the way to security. Even the flight felt like an adventure, with the excitement of the safari ahead of us.
When we landed, our guide was already waiting and took us to the jeep. He told us we could take our time, skip anything we didn’t want to do and stay as long as we liked to watch the animals or enjoy the view. Pole pole—slowly, slowly. Within a minute, we saw our first monkeys! Our guide answered every question we had and chose his own routes instead of simply following the other vehicles.
We spotted elephants through the bushes and shared the sighting with the other guides. While trying to get a better photo, we had an incredible surprise: a herd of around 20 elephants walked right past us. Every vehicle switched off its engine. It was completely quiet, and everyone just listened to the animals. It was breathtaking.
Our guide knew the park so well. We saw monkeys, giraffes, elephants and zebras before he heard over the radio that lions had been spotted. Off we went—and soon we were sitting beside them as they rested under a tree. We could hardly believe what we were seeing.
Around lunchtime, the animals retreated from the heat, so we stopped for a meal and a break. Afterwards, we continued looking for a leopard. We didn’t find one, despite our guide’s best efforts, but that didn’t matter at all.
It was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. We would absolutely recommend this safari!

The Trip of a Lifetime
We did a five-day, four-night safari with Kibo Mawenzi, and honestly, I wish we could have stayed even longer! Every day was packed with incredible wildlife, adventure and experiences that created memories that will last a lifetime.
Our guide, Patrick, was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us so much about the animals, as well as the culture and history of the parks. His passion and knowledge really made the experience even more special.
The food and accommodation throughout the safari were also great, and everything was well organised from start to finish.
An unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Tanzania!
