He was knowledgeable, experienced and accommodating.
I can’t say enough about our Guide Issaya .
He was friendly, helpful and determined to show us everything Tanzania had to offer….. even if it took longer . He was knowledgeable and fun to be with. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. My family and I would definetly recommend him.

Amazing safari with lifelong memories
Our safari with Victorious Vacations was amazing. Issaya, our guide, was hugely knowledgeable not only about the Serengeti and its wildlife but also about Tanzanian history and culture.
We were a family of five with three opinionated and vocal teenagers, which didn't phase him at all!
And when they decided that they'd had enough of wild animals, he managed to quickly set up a chaperoned trip to a local village, with banana plantations and wood carving demos, which we all loved.

He was probably "Tarzan" in another life with his intimate knowledge of the animals.
If this is a "trip of a lifetime" vacation for you or you've been on other safaris, don't make the mistake of spending your money on other guides when the BEST is here. Issaya Mogomo has mastered the English language after living in the U.S. and understands our naive questions. He answers any question without hesitation or conviction. His knowledge of every animal species we saw was awesome---birds, reptiles, cats and everything on four legs. He is such a gentle soul and quickly becomes your newest, best friend and protector. He has been a guide for many years and knows most of the other guides who share their information about places to find the animals that day. Issaya is the best of the best! He is the "Tarzan of Tanzania".

Knowledgeable about all the animals and history of the area. Our second time using Issaya great guid
Issaya knows how to find the animals and knows all about them. Last trip we found 8 lions together and 4 of them were sleeping in the trees. He knows the history of the area and can answer all your questions. I would not hesitate using him again when we come back. This was our second tour with Issaya.

Superlative guide and company
I just wrote a previous review about Issaya’s expertise and now need to show some pictures. We spent two weeks in Tanzania then another in Zanzibar, and came away utterly enthralled with all things Tanzanian because of Issaya’s love for his country.
Issaya Mogomo is a professor of biology, history, geology, and has eagle-vision to find the animals.
Many thanks to Victorious Vacations who gave us The Serengeti, Ngorongoro, lovely flamingos in Lake Natron, and more lions than I’d ever have imagined.
We started in bustling Arusha and followed the Masai walkers out to the bush to see giraffes and zebra galore. Issaya Mogomo has been a guide for years and he is brilliant with the geographic and political history of Tanzania besides knowing e v e r y animal and plant in the bush. Got a question? He has the answer and then supports it with photos and info from his dog-eared flora/fauna books.
I felt safe everywhere. I was taught to love Tanzania through Issaya’s eyes of respect and compassion. The Masai were delightful companions, and our camps were glamorous and delicious places to rest and wash off the dust.
I can’t recommend this company enough. I can’t recommend Issaya Mogomo enough.
You will be very happy that you chose Victorious Vacations.

Perfect Day trip at Tarangire Park!
Issaya made sure we had a good day! We saw many animals and he gave detailed explanations on all of them. He is a very nice guide with very good English skills. Do not hesitate to spend the day with Victorious vacations for a successful day.
