Dale R Morris is a multi-award-winning naturalist, guide, writer, and photographer specializing in nature, conservation, and wildlife-focused travel. He has managed various conservation and research projects (including a gibbon-rehab facility in Thailand, and a chimpanzee orphanage in Nigeria) and has lived and worked on every continent on earth, including the 8th one, Madagascar.
He has produced more than 500 magazine articles over the past 25 years, with his photographic work appearing on numerous front covers. National Geographic, BBC Wildlife, Wanderlust, and Travel Africa have all featured his work.
A fascination and all-encompassing love for the natural world are what drive Dale to inspire his readers to support conservation and ecotourism initiatives throughout the world. As well as his writing, research, and conservation career, he is also a specialized photo guide and spends much of the year traveling to places of natural splendor and ecological sensitivity with his guests.
He moved from his native UK to the exotic tropics when he was still a teenager and now lives permanently on the edge of a national park in South Africa with his family and pets.
