It was incredible safari tour!
5/5

My trip to Tanzania was unforgettable. I believe that everyone needs to see with their own eyes the life of Africa, unlike anything else. Here everything is special: huge reserves with unusual trees and unique animals, the life of Tanzanians. It is interesting to look at animals in their natural habitat. They absolutely do not pay attention to the observers and are engaged in their own affairs: they eat, sleep, hunt, have sex and raise their offspring - all this was seen and photographed on camera :) There are a lot of animals. Thanks to you, I have terrific memories of Tanzania! I want to return to you on safari, but for a long time, for two weeks :)

The Trip of A Lifetime at Excellent Value
5/5

There are two Africas: one where Westerners see exotic wild animals in
safari parks, explore natural wonders and natural beauty, are waited on
in resorts with gourmet meals. The other Africa is the real Africa, of
everyday people striving to survive, of farmers and herdsmen, of
students off to class, of arguing politics in roadside bars over a
Tusker, of motorcycles and diesel trucks, of delays and happy surprises.
Trip Advisor Africa Safaris is the best way to see both Africas. The
Africa of television and movies and novels, and the Africa of the people
who live there.

For years my wife and I wanted to visit East Africa, and after some
research and comparisons of itineraries and cost,Trip Advisor Africa
Safaris won out for a 16-day trip covering Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Our trip covered a majority of the parks allowing us to see the Big Five
(including the elusive Black Rhino!), the Big Seven, Southern White
Rhino, birds galore, and a trek into the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to
view Gorilla's at close range. All-in-all, they delivered a
unforgettable trip.

The key difference between Trip Advisor Africa Safaris and other tours
is that we traveled by land, stopping in towns and cities along the way,
not just seeing animals, but observing Africans in their day-to-day
activities and understanding their way of life. Other safaris whisk
visitors across the country from park-to-park in bush planes and wind up
seeing little of what lies between. Those safaris seem just an expensive
visit to the zoo. I have great memories of this trip, many of the
animals, but many more of the people and places we saw along the way.

Our drivers were fantastic, Jack ,Kim , and Fredrick felt like close
friends by trips end. They made sure we were taken care of and safe.
Mindful of everything from finding a secluded grassy spot to go to the
washroom, to not taking pictures of the power plant or they'll take your
camera, to earning a red banana for every rare animal you spot. The
drivers were knowledgeable and kind and always looking out for our best
interest. My sincerest thanks to them all!

Our sincerest thanks as well to Nairobi office under the boss Seth
Vincent, for arranging the trip, providing wonderful drivers, and
getting us around the region and back to the airport early for our
flight home!

Lastly, A few small logistics and items of note. Trip Advisor Africa
Safaris, provided a mix of accommodation types varying from tented
camps, to local hotels, to five star resorts. Meals were provided, but
drinks were extra. Tipping is an art all its own, so make sure you
research what to give to who and when. Their tours can be customized
depending on your interests, preferred accommodation, etc. You need to
book in advance if you want to go gorilla trekking as the permits are
limited and go quickly.

Here is a list of our main stops between Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania:

Nairobi
Maasai Mara
Lake Nakuru
Lake Victoria/Source of the Nile in Jinja
Kampala
Lake Bunyonyi
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Lake Naivasha
Arusha
Serengeti
Ngorongoro Crater
Tarangire

Excellent
5/5

oh yes, what a nice trip from start to the end, our trip was awesome. our safari travel agent managed to put together a wonderful 17 days schedule for us, it was a trip of lifetime thanks to SETH VINCENT and this safari tour company. He literally mapped out and helped us plan a trip that checked out everything we wanted to do. Every flight and ground transport was scheduled and spot on. In conclusion, all my tour needs were amicably solved by this company, its simply the best.

The review below is the personal opinion of Stefan and not that of SafariBookings.
Changed itinerary in the morning of the tour.
1/5

We booked a 4 day safari with two nights in Seronera, Serengeti. They changed the itinerary in the morning when the safari started. We ended up having 1 night in Seronera and therefore no full day in the Serengeti. This way it is cheaper for them as we spent the first night outside the parks, that is why they did it. Given this change we wanted a discount of around 100$. They said we can have 20$ discount and if we do not accept we can have all the money back and leave. That was in the morning when the safari should have started. They could well have informed us the evening before when we paid, but they did not. As the choice was between no safari and changed itinerary we decided to join. The car was the oldest moving thing you can imagine and broke down in the middle of the savanna. They did not have tools with them to repair it. They did not have walkie talkies to call somebody for help. They did not have a rope in the car to tow away the car by another bypassing car. Imagine you get stuck in a water hole? In the end they repaired the car with the leather-man of another tourist who was in a car which stopped to help us. We ended up missing the last hour of our late evening safari because we had to bring other passengers to their camp. As we were very lucky we ended up seeing all the animals the next morning, but that was really pure luck. The parks are great and the guide was very friendly and did his best given the means he was given by the company. Again this was pure luck, all the other guides of the same company seamed not very competent. Food was ok. The overall organization done by the company was horrible. We booked with Trip Advisor Africa Safari, but basically this internet companies are selling their costumers to a Tanzanian operator. Ours operator was Sandland tours of Abraham Shaidi. The itinerary change was apparently the fold of Trip Advisor Africa Safari and its owner Seth Vincent. The bad equipment of the car is the fold of Shaidi. So even if you book with other companies ask for the operator and check its reviews.

Excellent trip
5/5

Our trip (Seth Vincent company) was incredible. Amazing adventure with Tom, Morris, Simon and Califa. Everything well right and the company was really worried about the trip. Both drivers tried to find every kind of animal, and did it. Perhaps the cars should be replaced for better ones in a the future, but both Safari-van and Land Rover worked incredible. Totally recommended if you want to have a good trip for a reasonable price.

An amazing well cared trip filled with professional service and value for money
5/5

Vincent was perfect in communication from the beginning. We were offered a good value for price. Right from the pick from airport till drop back to the airport, Vincent had made sure everything was well co ordinated. Even if some things were missed, like drinking water etc, they were arranged as soon as asked for. The camp is also very decent. I was not sure when I booked this trip as to what I should expect, but I was very pleased when we left the camp. It was an excellent trip and well taken care of. Food can be improved, but we cannot complain as may different nationalities are at the camp and its hard to please everyone. The camp can improve a bit on its looks and presentation, considering how nice the staff are. For 3 day trip, you dont have to worry, you are in good hands.

4 day (Manyara Lake, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) standard tented safari
5/5

We were on safari 14-17.09.2017 in a group of 7 people. The general organisation of safari was good and met our expectations. Saw a lot of animals - guide was in touch with other cars and took care about quick reactions in case of animal appearance. Equipment was well preapred as well as food. special greatings for Eric (giude) and Mr Bean (cook).

We had an overall great experience
5/5

We did a 12 day circuit round Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara, Serengeti, the crater, Tarangire and Amboseli.

What made this trip were our two drivers, Eric and Godlove who were simply excellent.

Our accommodation on the whole was excellent although several changes were made to our itinerary. However, this generally worked out well.

We were met at the airport and our transfers across the border were smooth.

Having been slightly sceptical of using a non- UK based operator I am glad that we did.

4 day (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro) - standard tented safari
4/5

Most of things was like they promised.
They meet me at the hotel day before for payments. Next day they pick me up from the hotel (car was 40min late).

4 day tented safari:
- Tarangire. First there was agreement about visiting Lake Manyara NP, but they changed "because most animas migrated to Tarangire", I don't know if that was true, but there was a lot of animals in Tarangire. Night in OK fenced camping site near Lake Manyara.
- Serengeti - not so much animals because of tjhe season (guide sad that most of wildebeest have migrated to Masai Mara). Night in tents in very basic camp inside Serengeti.
- Ngorongoro - more animals than in Serengeti. Night in tents in very basic camp on the rim of Ngorongoro crater. NB! there is cold in camp (+5-10 Celsius at night) and in also in crater before noon.

Our driver Estomi was helpful, drove carefully. Car was old but clean. One day it was broken, and our group was divided between two other cars for half day.
Food and lunchboxes were average.
Company used different cars (6 and 8 seats) and mixed groups between cars. In our car there was from 3 to 8 persons during the game drive.
In conclusion it was good tour for its money.

Everything as promised!
5/5

We had an amazing experience with Trip Advisor Africa Safaris. Seth has organized the trip so well. We travelled with Gibson, our tour guide for the trip. He did a wonderful job. We really appreciate his efforts in showing us all the big five so close. We felt food could have been better. Overall a great experience!
