Safari Compass Adventures was born out of passion for the people and the land of Africa. Amos "Famous Amos" Tininah was born and bred in Maasai Mara, the heartland of Kenya. Ever since I was a young cattle herd boy in my village, I have loved flora and fauna. I was very fortunate to be in company of wildlife expert; my grandfather - the paramount chief of Mumo village and my father. From these elders, I learnt invaluable lessons not only about Kenyas wild animals and birds, but also about ecosystems, history and life in general.
