Queen Elizabeth national park
3/5

I came to visit my daughter in Uganda at the end of May and for many years loved to your around on a short tour in Uganda so my daughter planned a surprise trip for me before i moved to the east where we have a project supporting a primary school. The tour was indeed a good surprise, we visited in Queen Elizabeth park and saw many animals including a visit to the Kyambura gorge which is a beautiful place for seeing the chimps. I like the water excursion on the nile till we arrived at the point where we saw clearly the bottom of the waterfall forming part of the river Nile. I enjoyed my trip to Queen Elizabeth and i will not hesitate to suggest this operator Destination Jungle to my friends back home. Oh, Boaz was our guide to show us the animals

A very exciting experience with the mountain gorillas
4/5

I really enjoyed the tour through these two magnificent countries (Uganda & Rwanda) and in line with my personal expectation. Service was very good and the safari was very satisfying although I have not been lucky enough to see lions climb trees. It will be for another time ...

Gorilla safari to visit gorillas was memorable
4/5

At the end of last year, i visited in Uganda and then in Kenya and Rwanda. I like so much to visit East Africa for many years. My trip was organised by Christina a lady who was very positive and friendly. My self and my husband begun our trip on 5th November and booked a flight to Kigali in Rwanda where a nice man received us from the airport and took us to the lodge.
From this moment, we received a good communication about all the expectation of our safari and then we had our dinner and went to sleep. not much for a first day, we were tired from the flight.

The following day begins our safari and we visit many local shops in kigali and also the memorial of the genocide. Then we drive with the guide to Volcanoes park and we loved it here so much. We remained two nights at Villa Gorilla lodge, it is a small owner managed guest house just near to the gorillas. Then in the following days, we went into the forest to visit the gorillas two times. Very nice to keep this momory with us. The together with the guide crossed the border up to Uganda side to visit the community of the pygmies and they made good entertainment for us.

Then we travelled up to Queen Elizabeth park and discovered the tree climbing lions in the trees. It was wonderful. We stayed at a nice eco lodge, in Ishasha, at Ishasha Jungle Lodge. Also in our visit we visited Kibale forest to visit the chimpansee and also the nice birds in this forest. Then we went to Murshicon falls and it was aa good moment on the nile in a nice boat up to see the water fall.

We loved so much our holiday in these countries and later we flew to Kenya to visit many other parks of animals. We love East Africa and these nice people. This company organise our trip very well.

Cleverness and smartness inclouded
4/5

organized by Christina, realized by Abdul ...
was a realy nice trip and sure it is a good teamplay of Christina and Abdul.
Only the locations of the lodges could have been better situated, so that driving time
could be reduced. That is the one and only point that keeps me from rating "excellent".
Abdul organized and managed, even with this little mistake, our group in a perfect way,
so that we could see all the expected animals and would have been at every place in time
to get the best connection or boot. Cleverness and smartness is at Destination Jungle inclouded.

Perfect experience and perfect professional at work
5/5

We did a Bwindi treck with Destination Jungle to see Gorillas in June. It was one of destinations from our honeymoon.

It was one of the best experiences in our life.

Thanks to Jack, our local guide, because thanks to you our experience of Uganda was perfect

Of course we will advise your company, and your country to all our friends.

Reliable and Good
5/5

I used Destination Jungle while travelling to Uganda. I had constant communication with Constatino from booking to journey. I was a single woman travelling by myself and felt comfortable and safe with his guide/driver. I would have liked better accomodations but I dont think at the time they were available. I would absolutely use them. I thought the dollars spent was well worth what they delivered and then some. They can certainly use me as a reference in the US.

Fantastic 3 weeks in Uganda
5/5

We decided to travel with Destination Jungle for different reasons. The main ones were the trip schedule they proposed, the excellent quality price & of course the great communication with their contact person Christina.
We were very happy to travel with them. We had a great time in Uganda & would recommend them to anybody going to Uganda.
The locations were fantastic, our guide was excellent & we saw everything we dreamt of & more.
The hightlights of the trip for us were Murchisons NP, Gorillas (obviously) & Kibale forest.
Thanks a lot DJ for guiding us in Uganda

Amazing safari with Destination Jungle! Highly recommended!
5/5

My father and I just returned from an epic trip with Destination Jungle. We booked the DJ Uganda Safari 9 Days 8 Nights and chose the optional extension to Lake Mburo for the last day for a total of 10 days and 9 nights. Our trip took us to Murchison Falls, Budongo Forest to see chimpanzees, two parts of Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to see gorillas and to Lake Mburo. Our guide was Charles and he was exceptional. It was just the two of us and Charles and it was the experience of a lifetime. We saw so many animals and birds in all the parks, including 8 lions, a leopard, a hyena, a jackal, giraffes, zebras, crocodiles, hippos, warthogs, and many others. We loved watching the chimps and the gorillas and it was interesting to compare the two primate species. We were unusually lucky; it was just the two of us and a guide for the gorilla experience. Charles was always looking for ways to improve our experience and we enjoyed getting to know him. He was a very capable driver which is important on some of the roads we traveled on during the safari. Uganda is improving the roads now, but some of them were pretty gnarly so we needed a good driver to navigate them! We also met Christina from DJ, and she was very friendly and helpful. The lodges were beautiful- far nicer than I had expected, and accommodations were lovely. The food, especially the soups served at the beginning of dinner, were some of the best I've had. I highly recommend a visit to Uganda and a safari with Destination Jungle. We will be back and we'll use them again!

Thanks, excellent organisation
5/5

Everything worked out very well. I had a good driver, and coming back I still made it to my connecting flight. I was visiting the mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest, and I was very lucky. I could see them very, very well!

well organized and safe trip through Uganda
5/5

We booked our family vacation through destination jungle. We were in contact via Mail and phone and Christina was helpfull and a knowledgable local advisor to discuss the comfort and advantages and disadvantages of the various lodges. It was a fantastic trip, we have seen most of the highlights (only the leopard didn't want to show up), were driven safely from Charles our driver who answered all our questions and was always prepared to talk about the country, the life and the animals in Uganda. We will definitly come back.
