Our 6-day private safari to Kenya and Tanzania, encompassing the Masai Mara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, with Explorer Kenya was nothing short of extraordinary. Mwangi, our guide from Nairobi to the Masai Mara, proved to be an invaluable companion. Mwangi and Joshua's guidance enabled us to uncover the Serengeti's hidden treasures, fostering a deeper connection to the nature. We can thoroughly recommend this company. Our trip was a private 4 day safari of Tsavo East/West and Ambroseli with our guide Cornelius in a large Toyota Landcruiser. The lodges we stayed at we very good as was the food. Cornelius was an excellent guide with eyes like a hawk! he found so many animals that we would have missed if not for his intervention. We are in our 70's and found the 4 day trip to be long enough, in fact we were ready to go to Diani Beach for a rest. Top marks to Explorer Kenya who presented us with a faultless and wonderful experience.

As a young couple (31 and 30) from the German-speaking region, this was our first trip to Africa—and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We started planning our trip early, and Robert from Explorer Kenya helped us with the planning. He patiently answered all my questions and guided us through the process with great care. I highly recommend doing plenty of research, reaching out to multiple providers, and setting clear expectations to ensure a smooth safari experience.
We booked a private safari with a Land Cruiser, and we were fortunate to have John Muhoi as our guide—a fantastic driver and guide in every sense. He took such great care of us, providing insightful information about the animals, nature, and even Kenya’s history. John’s expertise made our entire safari an unforgettable experience. Our journey started in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which we highly recommend. The lodge we stayed at was incredible, and the highlight here was seeing rhinos up close, which was an absolute delight. From there, we continued to Lake Nakuru and finally to the Maasai Mara, where we were able to spot the “big cats.” John’s incredible ability to spot animals, even off the beaten paths, truly set him apart. While other guides often relied on radio communication, John’s keen sense and intuition meant he could find animals quickly, even in unexpected places. One example: we were once notified that a wildcat was spotted near the lodge, and John was ready to adjust plans immediately so we wouldn’t miss the opportunity.
All of this contributed to a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience. We want to thank Explorer Kenya, especially Robert and John, for their outstanding service and support. We can wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable safari adventure!

I chose this agency simply by searching online and after reading great reviews! I organized the whole safari with them for my family. We did a private tour. I also tell you that the price is unbeatable (I compared 3 agencies and estimates)... in short, the TOP! Do not be afraid to rely on them! Purity from Nairobi kept watch over our trip, she directed everything. She easily found accommodations that suited our budget.
All meals were scheduled! Something tried to go wrong but Henry, our precious tireless driver managed and led us. He was always punctual, patient, discreet, polite. I highly recommend the agency. Thanks to Henry he drove tirelessly to ensure we didn't miss the plane, despite an accident that forced us to travel 140. He went out of his way to let us see all the animals in the low season kilometers more. We did enjoy. We miss you.

Incredible safari, great company to work with, and a brilliant driver Moses
Explorer Kenya organised a custom safari itinerary for me and my wife for our honeymoon, and the experience was nothing less than incredible. From the start, Robert was incredibly easy to work with, booking everything for us and making the process very simple. The safari itself was amazing, hitting many incredible spots around Kenya, and staying in beautiful and luxurious lodges and camps. It was one of our best life experiences. Our driver Moses was excellent - very friendly, knowledgeable of Kenya and animals, and was great at identifying exciting animal moments and when to exercise that little bit more patience to wait for them (we saw the big 5 within the first 2 days). He also did the entire 9 day safari drive around Kenya flawlessly without looking at a single map or GPS, showing his clear expertise and experience in being a safari driver. Overall I can highly recommend this company for your safaris, and Moses for your driver!

Incredible Safari Company
I went on a private safari tour with my husband for our honeymoon with Explorer Kenya and everything was amazing. The booking process with Robert was very easy, everything was sorted for us and the itinerary he chose was perfect (Nairobi, Ol Pejeta, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli). He even added on a trip to an elephant orphanage for us and moved things around seamlessly when we requested. All of the lodges and camps booked were incredible in terms of location and facilities and all of the national parks and conservancies we visited had stunning scenery. We saw all of the Big 5 and many many more animals including cheetahs, a serval and lots of baby animals. Our guide, Moses, was amazing. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about animals as well as the geography and history of Kenya. He was clearly an expert guide and driver, driving us around Kenya without ever having to consult a map and helping us spot all of the animals within the parks. He also always checked that we were happy and comfortable and looked after us very well throughout our trip.

Highly recommended for a perfect travel agency
Overall, the travel experience was fantastic. The travel agency responded quickly, displayed professionalism and responsibility, and offered reasonable prices.
