Amazing Safari with an amazing guide and people!
4/5

We had a wonderful Safari and a funny Time with our guide 'Good Luck'! Everything was very well organized from the pick up from the airport until the getting back to the airport! All drivers were in time!
We also had luck with the other Safaritourists in our car, cause they all were almost as old we are - about 24- and so we had a lot of fun with them in our car and they also became friends!
Except the mix of Lodge guests - me and my girlfriend were the only ones- and camping guests in our car was a bit complicated and not that good organized, cause our driver had to drive us to the Lodges which were far away to the Camping and so mostly we arrived late in the lodges or camping! But think you will do it better next time! ;)
Although we enjoyed the 4- Day Safari Tour through Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti a lot and have seen almost all of the Big Five - except a Rhino- but that didnĀ“t matter! We had one of the Best Times ever there!
Best Regards
Thomas + Ruth

2-day trip to Mikumi with 2 families and lots of kids
4/5

We took a 2-day trip to Mikumi from Dar and this included pick up and return to Dar-es-Salaam. The coordination and logistics were handled fantastically both by the 7Wonders HQ staff as well as their tour guides/drivers. We had 7 kids in the party ranging from 18mths to 17 years old so we could have been quite a handful but they managed our transportation and drives into the park seamlessly. Only possible downside was the monotony of the food provided. Nevertheless, we saw all the animals we had wished to see including a pride of lions thanks to the guides' impeccable tracking. Highly recommend.

Our awesome guide made the most of our time on safari.
4/5

Going with 7 Wonders Safari was a great decision. When comparing prices with other operators, the price at 7 Wonders were much lower and I am sure our service was on par with any other operator on the savannah. Evelyn, who helped us organize via email was helpful with all our requests and inquiries right up to the moment we arrived in Arusha. Very flexible, understanding and easy to work with.

Our guide George was 1st rate and had a plethora of knowledge about the flora and fauna we encountered. He definitely took our experience to another level with his experience and confidence. He also made sure we got to see the Big 5 safari sightings (Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and Cape Buffalo).

The vehicle was reliable and comfortable. The lodges which we stayed were 1st rate was well.

If we were to safari in this region again, our search would start with 7 Wonders Safari.

A fine adventure at a reasonable rate.
4/5

the "budget" group safari that i joined through seven wonders easily met expectations. travel in kenya (nairobi to amboseli park) was arranged by michael of ancient wild safaris in nairobi; he provided a driver and cook who were courteous and knowledgeable. the trip into tanzania and the serengeti also included helpful guide and cook and was deftly organized by evelyn of seven wonders in arusha. as advertised, we camped at private and public sites. accommodations were rough-hewn but adequate, and attendants did the heavy lifting by preparing wholesome meals and comfortable sleeping arrangements. the wildlife was bodaciously abundant and the trackers knew where to find it. the safari was an edifying and memorable experience. however, because of some unpleasantness regarding gratuities for attendants, i recommend that safari organizers provide clear guidelines to clients and employees regarding these voluntary remunerations to avoid misunderstandings.

Good camping safari
4/5

We did a 6 days camping safari. It was a very nice experience, the safari was amazing. Everythig was exactly as it was planned, no bad surprises! They only change a little bit the itinerary: we visit lake manyara the last day instead of the second day of safari, but we were fine about it!
Our guide was very good, professional and well prepared; we had a great safari together!
The tent were fine. The only negative point: they told us that there would have been electricity and hot water in every camping, but this was not true in the serengeti camp, but it was fine anyway!

4/5

From landing in Kilimanjaro to Arusha air strip, onwards to Serengeti and Ndutu, I had a fantastic trip in Tanzania, thanks to '7 Wonder Safari's' organisation. Hadsome unique leopard, cheetah and lion sightings including seeing lions on trees (which was my dream) in addition to several other photo opportunitiesā€¦..Thanks to Julieth and her team.

Hope to be back soon!

2/5

I booked the 5-Day Group Joining - Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro luxury package with Seven Wonders Safaris.
Initially everything was really great. Evelyn helped me greatly with getting my lost luggage from the airline to the hotel, all the driving worked out really great and the first day we changed the schedule from Manyara to Tarangire (more animals in Tarangire). We had a wonderful day at Tarangire. The driver Nestory was very experienced and a great park driver/guide. The disaster started from day 2!

I got picked up 2h delayed by an old driver called Abdul. Instead of driving towards Serengeti we drove back towards Arusha to pick up other people from the shared Safari. Why he didn't pick up the others first and me last was unclear to all of us. After arriving at the camp side, we had been told that one of the cars is damaged and the entire group of 12 people needs therefore to wait here for a replacement car to arrive. After having lunch and waiting another 2 hours we finally started the drive towards Serengeti. The drive didn't last very long since the police stopped us and denied us the drive, since the car lacked the permit to transport passengers. After waiting for approx another hours we finally started driving to Serengeti. We arrived the Serengeti park entrance just a few min before they closed the gate around 6 in the evening. From there its another 1h drive to the accommodations/camp sides. Here is where the real mess started. Abdul had clearly no idea where any camp side was. So we spend the coming 5h driving through the dark Serengeti Park, while helping the driver with google satellite images. Abdul constantly insisted that he knows the way, while it was very obvious that he was just randomly driving around (trying to enter roads with clear signs private only, making turns all the time, messing up left/right etc). After 5h I gave up finding my accommodation and we drove back to the main camp side, where we figured out that the car with the cook and tents never made it to the campsite. So the majority of the group had to asked complete strangers if they could join them in their tents without a mattress and sleeping bag. Since it was already 1am I decided to sleep with the driver in the car. Luckily for me the damaged car with the tents arrived in the middle of the night and I got a tent to sleep in for a few hours. During the entire day Seven Wonders ignored all our messages! We could reach anyone in their office. Even the day after I got mostly ignored by Evelyn. This was not the luxury version of safari that I pictured.
I am deeply sad to see how bad the company is handling problems. I can totally see how you can have a great time with Seven Wonders, but be aware that the moment anyone runs into problems, you will be let alone by the company. Problems can and will arise, its the way you handle them and how you communicate with your clients!

Seven Wonders tried to make things good the coming days, by providing me with a private driver and refunding part of the trip, which is the reason why I gave one extra point in the rating. But I would not recommend this tour organizer to anyone!

Maybe worth mentioning that paperwork was done wrongly when we left Serengeti and the driver had to bribe the guards to let us leave the park. Also the transport from Ngorongoro to Arusha lacked some kind of documents, so we were driving around police checkpoints or bribing the police officers to keep going.
