A wonderful experience that I will never forget!
5/5

If I could give 7 Wonders 10 stars out of 5 I would. We had the most wonderful time on our 7 day camping safari with them. We were incredibly well looked after by our Guide, Hozza, and Cook, Izak. We couldn't have asked for two better people to show us around Lake Natron, Serengeti, Ngorogoro and Lake Manyara, and keep our bellies full with delicious food. Caring, professional, friendly and knowledgeable, they both went out of there way to make our experience memorable.
Seven Wonders pre-trip communication was exceptional. Evelyn was quick to respond to any queries we had, and they were able to easily accommodate our request to adjust our safari to visit Lake Natron, and spend an extra night in Serengeti.
Terrific value for money!!
I highly recommend 7 Wonders. I have been on safaris with other companies, which have also been wonderful experiences, but I rate 7 Wonders as the best of the companies I have travelled with. Thank you Hozza, Izak, Evelyn and all the 7 Wonders team!! Melissa

Awesome Adventurous Honeymoon
5/5

For our honeymoon, we chose the 6-day safari with seven wonders to which we added a 1 day hike of Kilimanjaro and a 1 day tour of Dar es Salaam for a total of 8 days. Seven Wonders was very responsive and had a nice itinerary for us. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and would recommend Seven Wonders to anyone. It was an adventurous journey and the company is reliable and trustworthy. Their drivers and tour guides were always on time; and they were all very nice and attentive.

To start the trip, the Seven Wonders driver (Good Luck) picked us up from our bed and breakfast and our Kilimanjaro guide (Gasto). Good Luck and Gasto were both very nice, energetic, and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our hike with Gasto (17 km roundtrip; not including the hike to a waterfall we were too tired for) where we saw some blue monkeys and colorful birds. We were especially thankful that Gasto took good care of us while one of us had unpleasantly fast bowel movements (presumably from malarone, anti-malarial medicine). This was definitely a highlight of the trip.

We were especially thankful for our safari driver and guide, Amos, who was very nice, very aware of our needs, and had a keen eye for animals. He always stopped for us to take pictures if he heard us talking about what we saw, and was patient until we both said we were okay to move on. He also would try to get us to good spots or talk to other drivers for us when they blocked our vision. We also appreciated that he agreed with us that aggressively getting close to the animals isn't nice, and he was able to usually position us where animals would walk by us without blocking their path.

Awesome things we saw: Cheetah chasing Thompson Gazelle and 2 hyenas coming to steal it (chase was unsuccessful, Serengetti); stopped very close to a Buffalo we didn't know was there, grazing and hanging out with a bird (Lake Manyara); two elephant families meeting by a waterhole and "asking" (loudly) to share the water (Tarangire); a Lion family walking to drink water and rest after eating a Zebra (Serengetti); various grazers sharing the waterhole as if they wanted to sing about a baby lion (Tarangire); lots of Wildebeast and Zebra walking in a line (Ngorongoro); seeing (and hearing) a group of 10+ hyenas eating a baby buffalo.

In Dar es Salaam, our city guide and driver, Julius, was very fun, easygoing, and knowledgeable about the city--he's a native that would answer some questions with "I'm a Dar es Salaam guy". We only had time to see a few things, but we really enjoyed the national museum for the music and dance experience and seeing how even in Dar es Salaam a lot of people know what tribes their family comes from.

Our Seven Wonders safari for two, was wonderfully adapted to our needs and interests.
5/5

Communications from the start and over many thousands of kilometres, we are based in Australia, were great.
We called into the office in Arusha the day before we started our safari and as a consequence were able to express our individual interests ( big cats and birds). This resulted in us having a brand new copy of Birds of East Africa on the trip. We were also able to change a cultural day to an extra day in the Serengeti.
I had no preconceived expectations but was thrilled with every day. Definitely, to do the areas (Lakes Natron and Manyara, Ngorogoro Crater and Serengeti) justice, you need at least 7 days.
We were just 2 single women and had 2 Seven Wonders staff to look after us- Isak, our chef, and Hozza our guide and driver. They were the best!
It was a visual feast - of animals, birds and events.
We tried to stay away from large numbers of people-taking the paths less travelled,we were served our meals at the Serengeti camp at a table outside our tent, we didn't have the regular, environmentally-unfriendly picnic lunch boxes and in general it was so much fun. Awesome! Thank you Seven Wonders.

Amazing!
5/5

I did the 6-Day Big Five Camping Safari and couldn't have been more pleased!
From the beginning, with Evelyn's help and clarification of all doubts, passing by the excellent Hose driver who accompanies us throughout the journey, "hunting" almost all animals and giving us the best explanations, and ending with our chef, who made me put on a few pounds.
They were all very kind and helpful, I'm very grateful to them!
Regarding the program, I think I chose the most complete one and it allowed me to see everything I wanted.  I highly recommend it, I loved the experience!

Unforgettable experience
5/5

My wife and I spent amazing 5-day camping safari with Seven Wonders!

The communication with Evelyn was very efficient and clear from the beginning. Our guide Hossa was super professional and we saw the Big Five and like 20+ new mammals. Guide's wildlife knowledge, dinner stories and customer understanding were on really good level. He really pushed hard to get a journey of a lifetime. Special thanks to our chef Gottfied also, who managed to prepare delicious dinner in basic camping environment.

We saw cheetah family chasing and making a meal of warthogs. Lioness was chasing on buffalos and hyenas feasting on zebra carcass. Authentic and amazinf stuff!

I had really high expetations to the safari, but all of them were exceeded with 7 Wonders. Highly recommended!

Budget Safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater
5/5

Myself and 3 friends did a 3 day/2 night safari with Seven Wonders in July 2019. We are all students so our main reason for choosing Seven Wonders for our safari was their prices - they were definitely the cheapest of all the companies we looked at. We chose to joint up with other people to bring the cost down and were matched with a lovely Spanish couple. I am very glad to say the lower price tag in no way compromised our trip. We saw a almost every animal you could think of over the 3 days (lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebra, giraffe, even a leopard and a rhino and many many more). We were definitely very lucky that we saw so much, but our driver was great and really put the effort in to ensure we saw as much as possible.

The lower cost of this safari meant our truck was a little bit older than the other ones we saw in the park and our food at meal times probably wasn't as fancy as people got with other companies, but honestly that makes we barely noticed the difference! We each still had a window seat in the truck and our meals were delicious and we camped in the same camp sites as everyone else so if I was to do another safari I would definitely go with a budget company like seven wonders again.

Evelyn was really easy to deal with during the booking process, she answered all of my questions and was very attentive to our needs both before and after the safari.

So for a budget safari I could not recommend Seven Wonders enough, it really was worth every penny!

An excellent company to work with
5/5

7 Wonders safaris is an excellent safari company to work with. Evelyn, Maurice and George were very responsive and thorough in responding to my questions. Their long history and experience ensures that you will receive a quality Safari. Rather than camping, we chose the mid comfort accommodations. We were very, very happy with the ones they chose for us. Especially the tented camp in the Serengeti, run by very professional young Maasai men, was outstanding. The Rhino lodge, in the Ngorongoro crater, had a magnificent dining room with two back to back fireplaces. The chef there provided some of the best food we had eaten in Tanzania.
We appreciated having Fadili as our 4 x 4 Safari driver, he had decades of experience and it showed in his handling of the vehicle and safety on the road. He also has attended Safari Guide school and was great at spotting the animals, birds and pointing out special trees and plants.

We highly recommend their excellent services,
Connie and Paul

Great experience with great nature!
5/5

We were extremely happy with our journey. Thanks to our guide, Hoza, and our chef, Godson.

Hoza is a person who is both strict and polite yet very professional and informative about various topics. Though the tour company is known for highly skilled tour guides, it is rare to find a guide such as Hoza, who is a professional and can care for all customers. I enjoyed casual conversation with Hoza about lifestyle in Tanzania which was eye-opening.

All meals prepared by Godson were delicious! Especially I loved the zucchini soup which I now regret not asking him a recipe. I think he tried his best to cook food that accepted by most diversity, which included spaghetti to rice. I appreciate that, but I wanted to enjoy some of more local recipes too!

The tour itself was equally good! With our tight schedule, Everlyn, the coordinator, restructured the whole travel so that we would not miss a thing while we are in great nature which was truly thoughtful. We saw the big five, the great migration of zebras and wild beasts, the endless plains of Serengeti, the animal paradise of Ngorongoro. Each of the experiences was astonishing. Everything I saw made me speechless. This tour truly is a life experience.

Though--I cannot emphasize more that this is none of the tour company nor guide's fault, yet, unfortunately, our travel companions were (simply put) terrible. They were gullible, arrogant, filthy, ugly, uneducated, and shameless African Americans who cannot respect this great nature but constantly murmur about the most trivial "problem" they can find to bother both the guide and other customers. (If you happen to be one of those who cannot show some respects to the locals/culture or only care about how many "likes" your selfies can get, do me a favor and don't travel at all. They are truly a cancer of tourism.) I feel sorry for Hoza for what he had to go through; regardless, he tried his best to accommodate all those uneducated swine while trying to be fair to the rest of the pack. That is, after driving more than 11 hours of bumpy roads of safaris! It was truly shameful! I feel sorry for the tour company, that a customer can freely pick a company, but not vice versa.

All in all, we were very happy with what we experienced and all of the services which we receive from Seven Wonder Safari and Hoza. With all the hospitality which they offered, we now only wish to come back again to Tanzania in the future (perhaps with longer periods with a little more flexible schedule), and when we do, hopefully, we do have a better tour companion.

Experience the Great Migration
5/5

Dealing with Seven wonders and Evelyn to arrange my safari for the great migration was a pleasure. I booked within 2 days of arriving in the country and everything was handled from airport pick up right down to the drop off. The experience of visually seeing the great migration was humbling and profound. We were lucky we saw the big five and also an array of rare birds. If you choose to do the overnight camping rather than the lodge options its perhaps more comfortable to bring a few items such as torch, sleeping bag and repellent. An unforgettable experience.
