Extraordinary Africa is exceptional- everything was planned and executed just as we wished
Alexandra planned and executed a truly once in a lifetime trip for my son and me. She listened to what we liked and our budget and then planned the 2 week vacation of our dreams- safari in Tanzania, Zanzibar and Cape Town. We stayed at wonderful camps, had fantastic guides and it all went off without a hitch.

Exceptional personal service and terrific organisation.
My husband and I have just returned from an absolutely amazing 14 day visit to Kenya organised by Alex at Extraordinary Africa. Her experience and knowledge enables her to tailor your holiday to ensure that all your preferences are met and you have an outstanding trip. We have travelled extensively in Africa but the two trips that Alex has arranged for us have proved to be our favourite. She listens to your requirements and works with you on an itinerary recommending suitable areas and lodges with extreme patience until you have the perfect holiday planned. Every detail is organised in advance and our transfers and travel were smooth and very easy. The itinerary, tickets and details are provided in advance on an app which is really useful and communication before and during our trip was exceptional. I would highly recommend entrusting Alex with your next African adventure. I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Amazing
I stumbled across Alex after dealing with another company who just wouldn't listen to what we wanted. We ended up orgnising a trip through Alex to Uganda and Zambia for our honeymoon. She was amazing to deal with - honestly so so helpful. She recommended a switch to Zambia based on the info we gave her and we could not have been happier. The whole planning process was so easy for us, she was happy to make changes when we decided we wanted to add something or changed our mind on an activity. We had one little issue with a flight cancellation and she responded to us straight away and had it sorted within half an hour. The accommodation she organised was so special and so amazing. We had such a great honeymoon and would recommend Alex to anyone! Side note - we live in Australia and she was so considerate of the time difference! We will definitely be using Alex for any Africa trips in the future!

Extraordinary Africa made our dream safari trip so personal and unforgettable!
Our trip with Extraordinary Africa was unforgettable. From the moment we started planning, I felt completely taken care of. Alex catered a perfect and personal itinerary for us based on our top bucket list locations, budget, and time-frame. The itinerary of Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, and Masai Mara was planned with so much care and attention to detail. I was so impressed with Alex's knowledge of the continent and each location we visited. My biggest goal of the trip was to see the wildebeest migration, and I assumed that meant I'd need to go to Masai Mara in August (when the river crossings happen). Alex assured me that going to Serengeti in June gave me just as good a chance to see it, at a much lower price and with way less crowds, and I'm glad we followed her advice because we got to experience thousands of wildebeests all to ourselves.
Each accommodation she suggested was also perfect. Lion's Paw in Ngorongoro was as close to the crater as possible, so we were one of the first cars there in the morning! Lahia Tented Lodge was in western Serengeti, where the migration was at that time of year.
Every destination felt perfectly timed and balanced; every new stop on our trip felt like the perfect time to go there and the transitions between them were smooth and stress-free. All the provided prep materials we received ahead of time made a big trip like this feel unintimidating. I felt so confident and excited going into it, and once we were there, I always felt safe and supported.
If you’re looking for a trip that’s not only beautifully curated but also deeply personal, I can’t recommend Extraordinary Africa enough. It lives up to its name in every way.
