Very professional!
5/5

Everything was better than I tough. The Hippo Camp, the food, the driver and the service overall.
Everybody I met was really professional and is definitely the cheapest option to have a great safari!

Fantastic experience!
5/5

One of the hallmarks of a professional, well-run company that puts the customer first is its ability to handle the mistakes and challenging situations that will inevitably occur.
In our case, when our driver failed to show up at 7 AM as agreed for our 2-day Mikuni Safari, I called and reached Kanuth. When he realized our tour had been mistakenly booked in for another date than the agreed upon on one, he dropped everything to make things right. Since no driver happened to be available, he personally drove us out to Mikuni for what turned out to be an absolutely unforgettable safari experience. In spite it being the in-between season (mid-August) when often less wildlife can be seen, we saw an incredible wealth of wildlife, including a lion pride with very playful cubs very close up and a trio of lions out hunting the following day. Kanuth is very knowledgeable and a warm and friendly travel companion. He did everything he could to ensure my daughter Zoe and I had the best possible safari experience.
I chose Kanuth because I wanted to use a locally run and staffed safari company. I highly recommend Kanuth and his company, not only for his professional attitude, but above all for the fantastic customer experience he provided us. Thank you Kanuth.

Selous Game Reserve Safari
4/5

We had a great safari with Kanuth Adventure Safaris. The food was absolutely great. On the first safari day we spotted many different animals and the guide Joseph was good to explain about the animals and the wild life. The second day we unfortunately had to help a couple of other cars, which broke down. That was a bit frustrating, because we only had two days of game drive. But we still saw many animals, which was great. Both the boat safari and walking safari were very good with passionated guides. On the safari we drove in a Toyota Land Cruiser with plenty of space and four wheel drive, which was a perfect vehicle for the safari trip.

Fantastic Safari Experience
5/5

We went to Selous Game Reserve on a 3 day, 2 night safari. It was a fantastic experience, from the very beginning when we were trying to organise it right up to when Joseph dropped us to the airport. The trip from Dar Es Salaam to the camp was really interesting to see the different parts of the country. Our guide told us lots of information along the way when we saw something interesting. When we arrived we went on a river tour and saw some beautiful wildlife. The second day was spent in the game reserve where we saw some incredible animals including getting 10ft from some lions.
Overall it was a fantastic experience and would have no trouble recommending Kanuth to friends.

Walking safari, Meru und Kili
5/5

Very nice and well organized tours. A total of three parts were booked at Kanuth and we were very satisfied with all the guides and the respective implementation. Punctuality and reliability clearly above the African average. We liked the more experienced mountain guides as well as the super chef. Concerns should be given to the prices of the offers generally that one still gets charged a good portion for drinking on top of payment. That surprised us.

Highlight was clearly the walking safari in the highlands.

3-day safari in Selous
5/5

We had a wonderful stay in Selous! During our trip we stayed at the Hippo Camp and we were very well taken care of by our amazing chef from Kanuth Adventure Safaris and the staff of Hippo camp. We went on a boat safari, a full day game drive and a walking safari, all with great guides. During the boat safari we came across different kinds of birds, crocodiles, lizards, hippo's and we saw an amazing sunset. The second day we went for a full day game drive in Selous on which we were accompanied by our guide. Our awesome and most kind guide Michael, really gave his best in attempt to show us as much as possible and we saw a lot of animals! It was definitely a day we will never forget. The walking safari was also very interesting to experience with the bushman that showed us around, he is a great storyteller. Thank you Kanuth Adventure Safaris for taking us on this amazing trip and we will definitely see each other again!
