Great Trip, Excellent Value For Money
Had a wonderful 2 night safari in the Masai Mara booked through Segein.
I was kept in contact with regularly, and very speedily and the girls were so helpful and friendly!
The tour itself lived up to expectations and more, I saw 4 of the big 5 in the first half an hour!!
The camp was great, really decent sized tents - but don't forget your torch.
My driver was great, though could say that a better vehicle would have made the journey - very long trip to the reserve from Nairobi) much more comfortable.
Thank you so much for this wonderful trip! And for all of your help in organising it for me.

Not bad
Nancy introduced herself under my post on couchsurfing. She did a good job on communicating with customers. I like her, and her second hairstyle!
The accomodation in this tour is quite good, the hotel room next to Nakuru Lake is very clean, with wifi. The camp is not bad!! Especially after the Danakil Depression tour in Ehtiopia, I was so impressed by the condition in Kenya safari. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying Danakil depression isn't good, actually, it's so good, just not so touristy. Here in Nancy's tour, I like the accomodation, the food( very good), the company.

Good, nearly perfect
I went on a 3-day Maasai Mara safari with Segein. Everything was pretty organised, the guide new where to find animals and told us a lot about them. The accommodation was as promised, although I hadn't been warned that the tent gets really cold at night. On the last day we picked up new people from another camp and lost 45 minutes of our "early morning" game drive. We didn't get to drive around as much as I had hoped. The safari didn't include pick up and drop off from outside the city center so there were additional costs.

Good plan, average delivery
Communication was generally quite good as we arranged everything by email and had quick and informative responses to our questions.
The overall safari route is a little different to the typical routes as it includes a few additional parks, which we found to be enjoyable but not essential. The route we thought could have been planned a little better as we had several days where we "doubled-up" on driving instead of viewing each game park in a more logical order.
We had several tour guides over our 12 day safari which ranged in quality from excellent to poor.
The only major issue we had with the whole safari was with accommodation whereby they showed us an example of the accommodation "or similar" for each night and found that when they changed to a "similar" place it was significantly worse than the example we had been showed. We had one night very early on in the trip where instead of staying in a nice guest house we were put in what I can only describe as a half-star motel inside a loud and bright garage. We had paid to upgrade from the basic accommodations to "mid-range" options based on what we saw on Tripadvisor which made this point very upsetting.
Overall we saw a lot of animals and went to a lot of locations which we were very happy with so my only word of advice would be to strongly critique the specific details of the accommodation.

Beware. Possibly scamming your money
I contacted this company through this site. I am not sure even now if the company is real or a fake "brief case" operator that steals your money. When i contacted them through here their email address was different to what is now listed. It was ***@gmail.com, now i see the change im thinking they change it once they get bad reviews.
I contacted them a few months apart and was given a different price for the same tour each time, when i asked why the price difference for the same tour, was told prices had gone up but they would give me a discount to match the original quote. Originally my emails were answered by a Debby, who then put a formal name stamp on emails of Deborah Kanini. Eventually when i asked more questions the emails were simply signed, Regards. I asked at one stage who i was speaking to and the person replied Debrah, spelling her own name wrong !
I was given a bank account to make a deposit into and i said i was making a payment that week. Luckily i got held up and never got to bank to make payment because the day after i was meant to pay i received an email from them saying they had to close that account, please cancel deposit and make another payment into another account, they supplied a new account number. This sent alarm bells going, so i never made payment. When they worked out that i hadnt actually paid and didnt need to reverse any payment i was inundated with emails with many different reasons as to why they had to shut the account. Even got an email saying the money had gone through, please go ahead with planned tour, the rest of the money can be paid once you arrive in Kenya. Seem like a total scam company, their facebook page looks legit, but comments left are normally by "tourists" based in Africa. I have no idea why this happened, every now and again some of the reviews seem real, and they mention a Nancy, not the Deborah i seemed to strike. I did tours throughout Kenya, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and South Africa and never once saw a vehicle with either a Segein or a Serengeti adventure safari logo.
