An adventure we'll never forget!
We were recommended Zohar African Safaris by colleagues, and they exceeded all our expectations! This safari was absolutely breathtaking and truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
From our very first contact until the end of our trip, communication with Zohar was smooth, easy, and professional. Every member of the team was incredibly attentive, and we felt comfortable, well looked after, and safe throughout the entire journey.
We visited Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti. The absolute highlight was that, thanks to our exceptional guide Solomon, we were fortunate enough to see the Big Five as well as the incredible Mara River crossing.
Solomon was simply outstanding. He was always friendly, calm, and incredibly professional. His knowledge of wildlife and nature was truly impressive. What amazed us most was his ability to spot even the best-hidden animals in the bush while driving. Time and time again, we found ourselves wondering how he had managed to see them at all—his experience and exceptionally trained eye are truly remarkable.
Everything else was equally excellent. The food was delicious, and the lodges were beautiful, comfortable, and carefully selected.
We would also like to highlight the exceptional service provided by Zohar African Safaris. Throughout the safari, we were surprised with thoughtful little gifts to celebrate our honeymoon and my birthday. At the end of our trip, we even received lovely farewell gifts—a truly heartwarming gesture that made our unforgettable journey even more special.

Fantastic company that is very detailed and helpful.
Zohar African Safaris delivered a trip of a lifetime. Lillian runs a very detailed company. Solomon and Nathan were fantastic guides. Lunch one day with zebras, and the next lunch was with giraffes. On the safari, we saw all the big five animals and more. The balloon ride was incredible. When our flight got canceled, Lillian let us stay in a bedroom in her business. One of the best examples of Daniel's dedication was when he suggested moving our hot air balloon ride to a different day to improve our chances of seeing the Great Migration. Incredible trip with Zohar
Having just completed our Tanzanian trip with Zohar Safaris, I cannot recommend them enough. Every single person that we came into contact with was professional, welcoming and full of knowledge.
Our safari guide, Solomon, was a highly knowledgeable and experienced guide who was able to answer any question thrown at him. He is full of passion for his work and has eyes like a hawk for spotting the animals from miles away! His ability to navigate every path from Arusha to the Serengeti and beyond is simply impressive. He ensured we had some amazing encounters, whilst taking amazing care of us - we always felt safe in his hands!
We had the pleasure of having Lily accompany us on our trip to Materuni Waterfalls, someone who does much of the work behind the scenes! After our car broke down, she had us in another ride in a matter of minutes.. a queen of adapting to any situation! We deeply appreciated the personalised touches that she added to our room on our arrival, and all of the little thoughts along the way.
We finished the trip with a 1-day hike on Kilimanjaro with Imran - an expert on the mountain! This was more than an active day of hiking, but a highly educational and interesting trip. We hope to be back to hike Mount Meru with him!
