An organized safari operator
I completed a mission trip in Kenya in 2012. After the mission our group completed a safari and had Raphael coordinated our flights, accommodations, park permits and taxi's. Our experience with Raphael was fantastic. It was smooth , convenient and organized. Next time I am in Kenya I will book with East Africa Exotic Safaris.

I was incredibly pleased with our tour operator, Raphael Muturi-above and beyond his duties.
Communications with Raphael Muturi were clear and concise. He went above and beyond the call of duty-picked us up, dropped us off. Raphael also made sure we were well taken care of, he exceeded our expectations. The safari tour was everything and more than we expected. I felt very safe and well cared for in his service.

Second booking with East Africa Exotic Safaris as excellent as first
Our contact with East Africa Exotic Safaris began in 2012. As part of a medical health brigade we were looking for a safari tour to end our journey to Kenya before heading back to Canada. We arranged all of our safari with Mr. Raphael Mutari, the principal at East Africa Exotic Safaris. His service was exceptional handling every last detail of our safari making the entire experience effortless for us. His communications were prompt and courteous. His suggestion for our safari location in the Masai Mara went beyond our expectations and all 6 of us were incredibly satisfied. He provided an outstanding level of service.
In 2014 as our team was once again in East Africa we contacted Mr. Mutari to arrange another short journey to Mombassa, East Tsavo and Diani Beach. Once again East Africa Exotic Safaris provided us with excellent service arranging all of our transportation needs, hotel accomodations and payments.
This last year was my 10th visit to Africa and in all my years of travel I have never met a local tour operator who provided such a personal level of excellent service.
I highly recommend East Africa Exotic Safaris to anyone travelling within East Africa.

Will return to East Africa Exotic Safaris for my next trip
Me + 2 friends had an excellent time at Basecamp in the Maasai Mara. Raphael was able to negotiate competitive rates for us and help us with the reservation. He continually checked in on me to make sure that I received booking confirmation, directions, that I arrived at the camp safely. I overpaid due to a small miscommunication and he personally delivered the cash to me at my workplace. Overall, I was extremely satisfied and will recommend to friends.

Efficient, trustworthy, good value for money, polite, greeted us everyday with a genuine warm smile, extremely helpful even over the phone - Raphael the manager, based in Nairobi, Kenya, phoned the PesaPal company in Nairobi to make sure which email address i should use to confirm payment (I am based in Mtwara, Tanzania) and promptly emailed me back with all details. At the end of our trip, Raphael left us both a small parting gift of tea and coffee at the hotel we were staying, a token of appreciation for having chosen Exotic Safaris and a reminder that good, polite service starts from the very first bout of interaction and ends on a thank you note.
The driver George was a careful and responsible driver, mindful and very respectful of animals and their habitat, knowledgeable on animals and sharing interesting tidbits on animal behavior. He made sure we saw as many animals as possible in our short 4 safari day trip, was very open to discussing and re-organizing day trip plans and overall a sensible, easy going travel companion.

Amazing once in a lifetime experience
Communication: The communication prior to the trip was fantastic and prompt. Raphael responded quickly to our emails and answered all of our concerns and questions. We honestly had a long email thread going and it felt like we already knew each other by the time we first met in Nairobi.
Service: The service was amazing. Our tour operator George was the best guide we could have asked for. He was incredibly knowledgeable about animals in the safari and taught us about the culture and lifestyle in Kenya. This was the biggest surprise for me. I expected to see tons of animals, but being able to build a relationship with the tour operator and learn more about Kenya and its people was the cherry on top.
Accommodations: 5 star. I was nervous about this before we left, but was very pleasantly surprised. The lodges were spacious, clean, and had all of the amenities you would expect in a hotel. The service at all of these lodges was also top notch. Everyone was ready to assist you however they could and truly made an effort to make you feel welcome.
Safari: Awesome experience. We saw herds of elephants moving from the bush to the marsh, prides of lions lounging during the day and playing during the night, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, etc. We were able to see just every animal we wanted and more. The safari was also well planned in the we were able to go to Amboseli National Park and see Mount Kilimanjaro. Our last day at Amboseli, we had breakfast outside on a patio on a crystal clear day and had the best view of Mount Kilimanjaro. The only thing that I would leave out is Lake Nakuru. The redeeming factor for this trip was seeing rhinos and a very cool interaction between a few lions and water buffaloes, but if you're coming to see flamingos (which it was previously famous for) make sure to check the conditions before you come. Lake Nakuru's water levels were too high when we came so we hardly saw any flamingos.

Superb service made the trip perfect
I booked with East Africa Exotic Safaris as a last minute excursion when coming to Nairobi for a business conference. I had contacted several tour operators and due to the prompt and very courteous reply opted to use their services. From the outset, I was never disappointed. Always fast on replying and was punctual in coordination of activities plus the driver was knowledgeable to make this excursion perfect. We even got lucky and saw a pack of lions crossing the road. This was my fifth time going on a safari so I knew what to reasonably expect and they raised the bar with perfect service.

Best Holiday Ever!!!
We just returned from our first safari for 14 days visiting several parks in Kenya. We have made extensive research and received many quotes before making our bookings through Raphael at East African Exotic Safaris. He managed everything and was always very responsive, clear and gave us good advises. Our safari was the best holidays we ever had. Such an Amazing experience!! We met Raphael twice at the beginning and at the end of our safari, he is a great young guy, very professional and competent and took down our feedback. In our opinion Raphael offers the best value for money as he managed to beat all of the other quotes we have had.
