I was very impressed by Steady Safaris - we made a last minute booking, the company responded quickly and efficiently to our requests, kept within our budget, and delivered us safely and on time to the airport at the end of the holiday. Steve was a great guide, he liaised with the lodge and the national parks team at Lake Mburu to make sure that we got the most out of our stay, his driving was excellent (no matter what the terrain), and he ensured that we had a smooth and enjoyable trip. To summarise briefly, the two lodge exceeded our expectations for different reasons. Paraa Lodge is in a lovely location, beautifully organised, has excellent food, delightful staff and every comfort thoughtfully taken care of. Mweya Safari Lodge location was stunning and the way the lodge integrated with it’s environment was perfect. Neither lodge disappointed us in any way although the food at Mweya was not as good ( but the dinner setting in the out-doors was fun!) but we felt very relaxed and at peace there. Our guides in both places were charming and very knowledgeable.
We were amazed by all the wildlife and saw everything we hoped to see except for a leopard which eluded us despite a long search in Queen Elizabeth national park! Our photos and memories are brilliant!
Primate lodge was extremely comfortable, the food was great and it was a beautiful place to relax in the middle of the forest. We did the chimpanzee forest walk, swamp walk and went on the Crater lake Tour but sadly didn’t have time for a visit to the village community.
We absolutely loved Bwindi forest and are already planning a repeat of the gorilla trekking experience, although we might consider investigating Rwanda next time, just for a change.

In honest I never expected value for money when I considered travelling to Africa for a safari. But I was humbled with the first email response from Steady Safaris by Carlos. He and his entire team orangized a 12 day safari which left us completely satisfied with their detailed service, knowledge, honest, integrity and professionalism. Overnight Safari to Lake Mburo
16 young people and leaders headed off on an all-inclusive two day, one night safari to Lake Mburu. We saw an incredible amount of game. Carlos and Kenny were engaging guides, they looked after us as perfect hosts. The vehicles were comfortable and we enjoyed the freedom of the open tops to view game. We stayed in the basic National Park Bandas and Tents which were more than adequate for us, we also ate at the lakeside restaurant: had a buffet in the evening and a pancake and fruit breakfast. The only hitch was with the accommodation which was a bed short but that was a National Parks issue. Would definitely recommend Steady Safaris.

I regularly visit Uganda for work and decided to take a safari on my last visit. As a single traveller I was a bit nervous of taking a safari by myself, but Carlos from Steady Safaris was amazing. All the arrangements for the trip were sorted out via email prior to me departing for Uganda which made life much easier.
I had a personal safari experience. Carlos made sure I had a great time even though I traveled alone. We had a wonderful time at the rhino sanctuary on route to Murchison Falls National Park, and the Murchison Park itself was amazing. Our dusk safari was excellent, got to see the big 5, with an afternoon safari adventure thrown in to ensure I saw the lions. The boat trip to the falls was also wonderful, a real experience. I got to stay at the very luxurious Paraa Lodge which was an extra bonus. Carlos made sure my experience was special and I felt safe and secure for my whole trip - as well as having fun! Door to door service provided as well which really helped. I would recommend Steady Safaris to anyone, particularly single travelers as they make sure you don't miss out on any of the excitement just because you are traveling alone. Carlos has excellent local knowledge and knows how to make sure you have the best safari experience.

Amazing time!
Our drivers were awesome! They were on time, extremely nice and helpful! We had extra time on one of the trips so they drove us around the city and gave us a tour. They were very knowledgeable about the areas we went to and we always felt safe!!
