Great trip to Mikumi
5/5

We did the 2-day safari to Mikumi and had an excellent time. The guide was professional and very service minded. The lodge in the national park (Mikumi Safari Lodge) had good standard, was clean, had good food and the staff was great. Overall the trip went very smoothly from our hotel I Dar es Salaam and back. We saw all kind of wild animals and have a lot of nice memories from that trip.

Poorly organized and executed two day safari
2/5

The safari started with the driver picking us up one hour late. the truck was one that appeared to be from the 60s.... parts of the car were falling off as we drove, there was no air conditioning, the engine was smoking, we had car problems, the driver spoke very poor english, and when getting to the game reserve told him we owed him extra money. It poured rain on the way home (a 6 hour drive) and because the car was so poorly functioning, it also rained inside the car and we got soaken wet. The hotel we stayed at was also very sketchy. They advertised air conditioning but the one in my room was broken, the shower barely worked with just a trickle coming out. Overall, not a good experience.

It is very unfortunate because we can not recall organizing a safari to the client named Sarah

Transfers on time, evening dinners : good menus, safari : one long day but interesting
4/5

Regarding the transfers, the buses were on time, the drivers were pleasant. The French Speaking Guide Karim and the Photograph Geoffrey were available and excellent.
The choice of the outside restaurants was good, although I would have liked to get the full programme with menu details before the arrival.
The safari day was very long but the clients were happy to have got this experience.
Globally, the clients were satisfied.

2 day safari at Mikumi National Park
5/5

An amazing experience. Everything was excellent from the booking to the actual trip. Our tour guide was informative and a wizz at finding lions! The Mikumi safari lodge was of a high standard and the staff could not have done more to make us feel welcome.

Great Time Traveling to Ruaha and Mikumi!
4/5

We had a great time on our 4 day 3 night safari from Dar to Ruaha then Mikumi before going back to Dar. Our driver, Samuel, was an excellent guide and was always looking out for us. The company offered us a package that was not so much on the 'luxury' side of safari experiences (though not on the shabby side either!) but that was good for us because it was much(!) more affordable than the other very expensive packages I was offered, a bit of an adventure, and still incredibly enjoyable. I'd recommend this company to other potential safari go-ers...and if we go back to TZ we will use them again.

Enjoyable time and extremely accommodating
5/5

Overall, an excellent safari. Particularly appreciated the flexibility in making my arrangements as I wanted them including determining exact timing during the safari itself. The accommodations were varied and superb (and the massage at Ngorongoro was welcomed after a day on bumpy roads.) The food was very good, much better than I expected, including the box lunches. I felt like a cherished client. And, of course, the experience with the animals was top-notch. Highly recommend.

Communications could have been better
3/5

All communication was by email, in English, but did not always address our queries, meaning that sometimes we felt a little unsure of our booking. In the end, all was fine, we made all connections and were met everywhere as arranged. Our first guide, John, was excellent. His ability to spot animals and knowledge about them was superb. The distances travelled were understandably large, but could have been better planned, particularly the first day. We would have been better advised to travel to Arusha/Kilimanjaro the day before the start of the safari, as we didn't arrive at our first lodge until well after dark. The accommodation was excellent everywhere except for Arusha, which was barely 'back-packer' standard. We should have stayed at the previous lodge a second night and just had an early drive to the airport.

Great Agency
5/5

My wife and I booked our Tanzania trip through Imagine Tanzania and we couldn't have been happier with the advice and help we got from Deo, Jackie and the team. They gave us great options for both Safari and our Zanzibar trip, and really tailored everything towards our requirements and budget. They always responded promptly and addressed any concerns we had politely and efficiently. Everything was organised from flights through to airport pick ups and drop offs, and they helped us to be really organised by providing us with the relevant paperwork as there could potentially have been a lot of confusion.

In the end we decided on Serena Mivumo Game Park in Selous and Tulia Hotel in Zanzibar and this really was a holiday of a lifetime.

Thank you Imagine Tanzania - you guys are great.

Outstanding Travelagency
5/5

I booked a two days trip to Mikumi Park from Dar Es Salaam. The Contact in advance for the booking was all time ver nice and courteous. Even If the number of joining People changed, it was always a pleasure to write to Deo. Once arrived in Dar, They came and picked us up even on time. They where even earlier as they expected traffic. But they never tried to rush. After a warm welcome from Deo and our Tourguide Sky we went off to Mikumi. Sky was a great driver/guid. As he has a very huge knowledge about his country and aswell of the Game in the Park, we had a very instructive Safari. Our overnight Stay in the Mikumi Safari Lodge was absolutely great. The Lodge is build up with lots of love and on a great spot. Feburnya and her Brother took good care of us. And it felt like, we were at Home. They But so much Love in it.
All in all we were more than happy that we booked with ITTB. All time good communication and outstanding Safari. Dear Deo and Sky, Thank you so much for showing us the Beauty of you Country and I hope to come back very soon. Michael

Nice experience
5/5

I am an expat living in Dar es Salaam. I went Safari with a friend of mine from China (2 days at Mikumi National Park). The pre-safari communications with Deo was smooth and pleasant. He responded quickly in a professional manner. During the tour, our safari guide Amani was really nice. I would say he appeared to me a very reliable person, an invaluable quality in the land of Africa. We were able to see lions, zebras, elephants, rhinos, antelopes among other animals. The trip was smooth and enjoyable. But for future tourists, remember to take some long sleeve clothes; it is good for keeping warm in the night and to avoid insects biting. I would strongly recommend Imagine Tanzania to future tourists for a good value experience.
