Awesome Experience
When I decided to include a safari in my trip to Tanzania, I've started to explore different safari companies. Since I've requested for quotations for 2 nights/3 days, Selous Explorer has promptly reply. Regarding the experience itself, that was amazing. Very organized and rich. Nesto, our guide, knows a lot about animals. You can ask what you want and he'll know the answer. Besides that, we' d opportunity to talk about other topics where we learnt a lot about African culture. In the end, was more than watch wild animals. Was a deep dive in African culture thanks to Nesto.
Regarding the park, I never regreted to have chosen Mikumi. It's less turistic than Sereguenti with a lot of animals as well.
About the accommodation, that was a good surprise. Camp Bastion has good conditions, nice staff and a romantic environment.
The overall rate is 5*!!! Definetly I recommend Selous Explorer and Nesto as guide.

Unforgettable experience
Very beautiful experience. The guide (chaka boy) always smiling explained us interesting things. I never thought to be so close to these animals so big, wild and feel safe. The place to sleep is very cozy with a very friendly staff. 100% recommendable

Great trip to Tanzania !
We spent 5 awesome days with Endrick, we could not imagine getting such a nice tour guide for our first safari. We saw a lot of animals, we had time to take the best pictures with the right angle. Amazing experience, thank you very much :)

Engaging safari and great communications.
We had a great experience travelling with Selous Explorer and our guide Ezekiel. This was our first safari and we had a fantastic time. Ezekiel knows Mikumi very well and could tell us a lot about the wildlife we encountered. Asna, our contact person, replied very quickly when we had questions and helped solve all our problems. All in all we had fantastic experience and would strongly recommend travelling with Selous Explorer.

Nice 3 days i mikumi park
Well organized safari, with extremely kind, calm and polite driver Issa, nice accommodation in campbastian and very good food. The car was quite outdated but it wasn’t matter if you can see so many wild animals on live

Very attentive and excellent customer service
This company is one the best in Tanzania organizing tours. They accommodated all our request and customized our trip . All staff are very friendly and professional . We managed to see all of the animals including lions,leapord .money wise , the offered the best price comparing to all other companies. Quality tour and most enjoyable with trusted people . Highly recommend we came from Dubai and it was our first safari trip to Tanzania and they made very memorable .

a very attentive, professional guide and willing to help in everything
The tour of the boat very well as a first contact. The second day with Nestor was incredible. He tried his best to get us to see a family of lions very very close. We enjoyed seeing giraffes, hippos, hyenas, crocodiles, and even a herd of running buffalo.
We will never forget him
the third day brought us closer to the culture and wisdom of the place, it was a magical excursion
