Well organized trip to Maasai Mara in April
Me and girlfriend went on a lovely trip in Maasai Mara. We were a little bit unsure how it would be to on safari during the rain season, though we didn't see all of the big 5 and not the huge hordes of wild beast we saw lots of beautiful animals and lots of lions. One good thing about going in march/april is that we had the possibility to see baby lions, incredible cute!
Staying at basecamp were also a fantastic experince! If you are going there, make sure to ask for the Obama Tent it is just lovely!

Wonderful, personalised safari experience
I recently completed a safari with them. Despite the relatively tight turnaround time, they delivered an amazing safari that exceeded my expectations. As this was my first safari, I had numerous questions, all of which were answered quickly and expertly and gave me comfort in using them. As said elsewhere they are not a large operation, but this allows a level of personal service - Meshack met us at the airport, and also at other points throughout the trip to check in and see how things were going.
I would highlight that the best guide to the quality of an organization is how it responds when things don't go as planned - we were caught out in the rain in the middle of the Maasai Mara and unable to return to our lodge (someone who tried wound up stuck in the middle of the river and had to swim to safety - credit to our guide for knowing when to cross and when not to), Meshack arranged for alternate lodging for the evening in a charming little camp (zebra camp) even though the camp was closed as they had no guests that evening.
Meshack also did a wonderful job of sourcing excellent guides - the guides we had for Amboseli (Steven) and Maasai Mara (Benson) were very knowledgeable and helped us get the most out of our trip. We were able to see all the animals we had wanted to see, and even got to see a live kill up close.
In summary, they are excellent at what they do, and will go out of their way to ensure one has a wonderful safari experience. Definitely recommend.

Best safari experience
From the first email communication, I knew they wanted to provide the best service for us. They provided us with many options that suited whatever budget we had and modified anything we asked for. Meshack, the tour organizer.
emailed us very promptly every time and was keen to answer all our questions.
Then we met our driver, Steve. He is just brilliant and I would highly recommend you request him as your tour guide. The loveliest, friendlies man who made sure we had such a wonderful trip every day. He is very knowledgeable about all animals and the places we visited in Kenya. He made the trip so much more interesting and fun. This really was a trip of a lifetime and the success of the trip was all down to this tour company and Steve.
The professionalism and organization of this company is fantastic and enabled us to book last minute and know that everything would be taken care of. All we needed to do was enjoy the trip with no worries at all.

Amazing Trip
After requesting more information about one of their Kenyan Safari packages, Meshack immediately reached out and made the entire planning process extremely easy. His ability to communicate, responsiveness despite an 8 hour time difference, knowledge about the land and what we might prefer along with helping with the lengthy covid requirements really helped ease my mind and made getting to Kenya that much easier.
On arrival, he was standing outside the airport with a driver ready to go with a smile on his face, even after 11 pm. Every member of the team was very courteous and helpful; always on time and ready to help us have the best trip possible. There was also never any stress about checking into the different hotels or lodges and all of the other coordination was extremely smooth. They even went out of their way to research/plan covid testing for us at the end of our trip to be able to return to the States.
James was our safari guide and driver for the duration of the trip and was very nice, on time, and most importantly to me always gave the best opportunity to see the different animals; especially the more elusive ones such as two leopards and 5 cheetahs. While driving through the city roads, it is much different and more chaotic than in the US, but I never worried about his ability to safely get us to the different national parks.
Overall, it was an amazing trip. I was able to see every animal I wanted on the game drives and more! Kenya is a beautiful country with very welcoming and friendly people and I will always remember how special every moment it was; thanks largely in part to Meshack and Alligator Adventures Tours & Safaris.

Very well organised safari tour operator in Kenya
We did a 6-day safari tour in Kenya with 2 children (aged 9 and 10) organised by Alligator adventures and it was a very nice experience. First contact with the management was nice and efficient. We could tailor one of their tour according to our taste. Once in Kenya, everything went according to the plan. Our driver was very professional and friendly. He was a good tracker as well and, thanks to its perseverance and experience, we could see a lot of animals (among which the big five). We had asked for a land rover vehicle and we didn’t regret it as we could use all the small and sometimes chaotic roads to remote places in the parks where we could spot some of the rarest animals. The accommodations in the different lodges and camps they suggested were really nice and we always got family rooms (or tents) as we requested. Due to weather circumstances, some small adjustments were made in a efficient manner by our point of contact in the agency and well explained in advance. Our flight back home departed very late on the last day of our tour and the driver arranged an extra game drive before we left the Masai Mara NP and we could finally see a leopard thanks to that. He could also arrange a diner at Le Carnivore famous restaurant in Nairobi before he dropped us at the airport. There were really no flaws in the organisation and we all had a really great time in Kenya thanks to them.

Reliable, knowledgable, friendly, accommodating company - our trip lived up to and above expectation
What an amazing holiday. Everything went smoothly, Meshack and Josef were very welcoming, we did loads in Nairobi I hadn’t expected to do which was a lovely surprise - Josef was very knowledgable throughout and flexible to take us wherever we wanted to go. The travel to the Masai Mara was excellent - our driver (Kirore - spelling?) there was very accommodating and also knowledgeable. We stayed at Governors & Little Governors - such helpful, polite, friendly staff, blown away (pun intended) by the balloon safari, the sites of both are perfect, everything very clean, all needs accommodated for. I travelled to Kenya 25 years ago and I do not remember there being such large groups of animals, we saw all the ‘Big 5’ bar the rhino which is very impressive for only 3 days in the Masai Mara! The animals all look healthy too - whatever the reserve are doing it is working! A fantastic time has by all - do I recommend Meshack and his company - absolutely yes!

The best memories ever!
Having decided to celebrate my 70th by taking 4 of my children on safari in Kenya, I knew where and when I wanted to go – Little Governors, the best of the best safari camp there is, to watch the greatest herds migration in Africa in to the Masai Mara. Thankfully, I made contact with Meshack at Alligator Adventures, who proceeded to thoroughly plan and organise everything locally for our personalised and exclusive 5 day flying safari visit for the last week in July – to meeting us at Nairobi airport, transporting us to Wilson to fly out to the Masai Mara, 3 nights at Little Governors and our balloon trip, collecting us back at Wilson with his driver, Joseph, who filled in the timing gaps with the Giraffe Sanctuary/Croc farm etc and Carnivore Restaurant before our departure flight.
So thank you Alligator Adventures for being so professional, personal and flexible, despite what must have been some very difficult times over the last 2 years of the Covid pandemic, and giving myself and my children (38 down to 20!) the greatest African Adventure safari, that we will always remember - I have no hesitation in highly recommending them!

We booked a 5-day safari. Despite the fact that our luggage was delayed by the airline (we received it on the 5th and 7th day), we had a good holiday.
The first hotel was The Cliff, fantastic experience, fantastic hotel. We searched for negative points but did not find any. The food was remarkably good, in fact the best food during our entire holiday. This was definitely the best of the 3 hotels.
The next hotel was Leopard Hill Resort. Beautiful rooms, super friendly staff. The food was ok, but not fantastic, could be better.
The last hotel was Kilima (2 nights). Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, nice rooms.
Extra thanks to Alligator Adventure tours for picking up our delayed luggage and delivering it to our accommodation after the safari!
