Amazing Safari Experience!
We didn't know exactly what we wanted from a safari, having never done anything like this before, but Daniel helped to put together an itinerary that worked perfectly and fulfilled all of our requirements.
Thanks to our drivers (Peter) expert knowledge and the good planning we saw all of the big 5 on numerous occasions as well as a huge selection of other wildlife. A fantastic mix of tented camps and lodges were selected by Daniel, all of which exceeded our expectations, with fantastic service and luxury.
Transtrek and the Mara Bush Camp even helped to keep a hot air balloon flight secret from my girlfriend until we reached the launch site, and she even agreed to marry me on the flight!
All in all an unforgettable holiday, I would recommend Transtrek to anyone!

Transtreck was introduced to us by a friend a week before we left the Us.for Kenya.we communicated online and
they promised to take care of our safari in Tsavo and did so beyond our expectation. Time schedule was perfect,
and the guide mr Munyinyi,was always there when we stepped out of the hotel/lodge. The tour guide/driver was an expert in his job and seemed to know every part of the park,and where and when to track game. He is the kind of guide you would want to insist that he takes care of you in the park ,he made our tour quite an experience.our stay at Keekorok as promised by Transtrek turned out to be so comfortable,but we had to leave as time found us. Thank You Transtrek.

Awesome time Masai Mara for our first Safari / Excellente experience pour notre tout premier Safari
My sister and I booked our flight to Nairobi without arranging any tours/Safaris, and we only decided that we wanted to go to Masai Mara 3 days after our Arrival and despite the short notice Daniel arranged for our 3 days / 2 nights in Mara and even got us a French speaking Driver (Tony). We had an awesome time and I wasn't expecting to see as much much animals as we saw - We managed to see 4 out of the Big Five and may others. Our Driver/guide Tony, was very friendly, know a lot about the animals, trees and plants in the reserve. And his knowledge of the Mara allowed us to see all those animals. Avec ma soeur, nous avons decide de visiter le Kenya mais nous n'avons reserve aucun tour avant notre arrivee a Nairobi. Nous avons opte pour visiter le Mara, 3 jours apres notre arrivee a Nairobi, malgre ce delai assez court, Daniel nous a organise un tour de 3 jours / 2 nuits Avec un Chauffeur/guide francophone (Tony). Nous avons passe un Moment exceptionnel et nous nous attendions pas a voir autant d'animaux - 4 des 5 Big Five en plus du reste. Notre guide Tony a ete tres sympa et a une enorme connaissance de la faune et la flore du Mara. Ce qui nous a permis de voir autant d'animaux durant notre sejour. I took my three young children on a Safari with Transtrek to Amboseli and Tsavo East and West. We loved it. A real adventure and learning experience for the children and great fun for me. We were well looked after.

Like most Westerns visiting Africa for the first time, and trying to make a decision on a safaris company was difficult. After, searching through the internet, and talking to the owner, Daniel, it was easy. I choose Transtrek Safaris because of the variety in a three night four day visit to three different Parks, the uniqueness in each lodging environment, reasonable price, a chance to see the magnificent animals of Africa and a reassuring conversation with Daniel. I was confident we would have a good time. All expectations came true. The drivers for our 13 person group were accommodating, attentive, and patient with all our questions. Driving though Africa is no easy feat and we welcomed a safe and comfortable ride with Moses, David and Ben . The lodges were just what one imagines in being planted in the backcountry of Africa, very comfortable, great food, terrific scenery and very accommodating. Daniel and Transtrek run a professional organization and would highly recommend booking your safaris with them. TIP: Bring binoculars and zoom lens for your camera.

Great Experience
I just returned home from the 8 day Kenya Highlands and Masai Mara safari. To say it was an incredible experience would be an understatement. From day 1, dealing with Daniel via email, was a pleasant experience. He was always very professional, helpful and always timely in his responses. As it was our first safari, I had a lot of questions and Daniel always answered them honestly. As for the safari itself, we were very pleased with the game drives that we did. We saw every animal you could imagine. Our driver, Tony, always went above and beyond to make sure we saw the animals that we wanted. Tony was a very knowledgeable, kind, funny man who made this trip that much more enjoyable. He always kept our safety as a first priority.The lodging was simple, yet always clean and safe. The food provided was amazing. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this company and this specific safari.
First rate
Our group spent 4 days, 3 nights in 3 national parks. With the good fortune of great weather, cooperative animal sightings, and personal guides/drivers, we could not have asked for more. The lodging was way above our expectations, especially the one in Tsavo East where it was a bit more rustic, and more part of the environment . The food was always exceptional as well. Our vans were not over crowded allowing for perfect visibility our each of us.
If I had a magic wand, I would have had naturalists joining us; the guides were well informed, but not educational professionals. Again, that would be magic wand material.
All in all I would not hesitate to use Transtrek again. Daniel was very responsive and helpful in organizing our experience ahead of time, and following up afterwards.
I still can't calculate how they provided so much for a very reasonable cost.
What a great once in a lifetime experience for our group.

Program that it had us purpose has respect t scrupulously, everything hushes up improved, accommodation (lodge, attracts), the food, the transport, games drives. Being franais, to have had as driver and guide, Tony, French speaker, has t gnial. It is trs efficient, always the affut for the animals, full of humour, always in small care and of a big kindness. We have visit Aberdares, lake Nakuru, lake Naisvasha, Amboseli, Tsavo, a village assembled. Last 3 days on the heavenly ile of Shawl Island, have the crowning piece t. Therefore, friends franais if you want to go on safari in Kenya or in Tanzania, I deeply recommend you Transtrek Safari, it was that of happiness, and a reasonable price

Amazing experience in and around the Maasai Mara
Transtrek Safaris are simply unforgettable. Daniel was fantastic at making sure for our 4 day 3 night safari complimented the rest of our time in Kenya (for example we were already going to visit Lake Naivasha). Our guide Tony was extremely knowledgable and enabled us to have a wildlife experience beyond our dreams. The leopards we saw just made you speechless. We had really great accomodation and were welcomed everywhere with extremely comfortable tents (if you can really call them that, with ensuite's, flushing toilets and wooden floors!) and were very well fed. We would particularly recommend the Mara Naboisho conservancy, which with its strict entrance policy and work with the local Maasi was a very personalised experience. We particularly like the Wilderness Camp as were felt even closer to nature and enjoyed the small nature of the set up. Thank you so much for so many amazing memories in only 4 days.

Amazing adventure
Thank you Daniel and Peter (our guide/ driver for 2 weeks). Daniel set up our safari including everything we wanted to see and do expertly. Peter took such good care of us the entire time we were there we never had to worry about a thing. And the animals!!!! From the lions lounging in the shade to the adult female lion protecting their kill for the pride. The cheetahs, hippos,giraffes we saw them and not just saw them but were able to observe their behavior from up close. I can't think of enough adjectives to tell you what an extraordinary experience it was. Anyone that enjoys seeing animals should do this at least once in their lifetime. I plan on going back in a few years. Thank you Daniel and Peter.
