We travelled with Jangwa Tours and Safaris for an unforgettable self drive tour in Nambia.
David was very careful with us to choose the best solution with a mix of camping and lodges.
During the our 12 days tour we had a phone number for any necessity, David gave us suggestions and assistance.
We had a problem with one luggage that arrived on the next day, he sent us a driver to Sesriem from Windhoek to deliver our luggage at the Camping, incredible service! 🙏
The camping and lodges were amazing, the 4WD car with rooftop tent was very good and perfectly equipped.
We had a lot of wonderful experiences through the Namib desert to Swakopmund and Walvis Bay with an incredible day at Sandwich Harbour, the Damaraland area, Etosha NP and the Onguma reserve where we had one of the best experience of my life like the bush dinner...
I strongly suggest David and his Company to our friends and family and to everyone love adventure and nature, they have a 5 stars service! I will travel for sure with them for other destinations.

Very responsible business

Johann set up a great itinerary!
Our 12-day self-drive through Namibia was extraordinary, and, for us, the trip of a lifetime. Johann worked with us through many changes and offered excellent advice - with the result that we couldn't imagine it could have been organized any better. His suggestion that we really splurge at Ongava for three days was well worth the cost, and we loved Okonjima. We were amazed at the number of animal sightings, and at how close they were! Accommodations were unusual and each was different. Self-driving allowed us to see the diverse landscape and get a sense of Namibia. It's big, really big. Johann also arranged two days for us in Cape Town, where we had a chance to recover from our transatlantic flight and tour the city with a guide. A spectacular trip!!

David was FANTASTIC - best tour operator experience ever!
Jangwa answered my email promptly and was able to customize my trip to accommodate my interests. David suggested and arranged a few excursions and during the trip helped me to book one other excursion. He provided me with a customized itinerary with the booking codes, and all this information was available via a very useful app. Each day's itinerary even included a recommended driving route with distances and time the trip would take. David kept in touch with me during the trip and sent a few useful tips e.g. on the day we were due to drive on gravel roads he messaged me with a recommendation for the tire pressure - what service! The price for the trip was very reasonable - I couldn't have got a better price by making the arrangements myself. All the arrangements were perfect, and I had the most amazing trip. Thank you, David, and Jangwa Tours for a most memorable trip.

The best Tour and Safari company I've ever had
After a few experiences in Africa tours and safaris, Jangwa Tours is from far, the best.
David was, from the very begining, very hepful. The tour we had, was very well organized from the lodges to the guides. All high quality.
The tour includes excursions that other Tour Operators don't. So, quality and price is very balance.
We selfdrive, and also, car was super, for the area we should cover, ( full insurance, and convenient car for the itinerary).
The restaurants David suggested, were also very good. He was always available for answer my questions.
For sure, Jangwa Tours, will be my company for the next trip to Botswana.

Professional and reliable
We are very happy with our experience with Jangwa Tours and Safaris. From my initial inquiry through many questions to the final day, communication was excellent. Johann was helpful and prompt to answer. He adjusted the itinerary to meet our requests and answered patiently my frequent questions. All the lodges and hotels were wonderful with nice rooms, delicious food and great service. Transportation was always on time. Vehicles were air conditioned and comfortable (sometimes the rides were a bit rough because of the roads but that is to be expected). When we flew to Windhoek our checked luggage did not arrive and Johann followed up with the airline and even had a driver go to pick up the bag at the airport when not yet been delivered to us the day after it arrived. Very good service.
We really enjoyed Namibia. We had a few days in Windhoek, visited Etosha, Damaraland, few nights in Swakopmund (with excellent dune tour at Sandwich Harbour), Namib-Naukluft National Park (with trip to Soussusvlei dunes and Deadvlei). Such a beautiful country!

Amazing self-drive tour including all the highlights
Cannot recommend Jangwa Tours and Safaris more.
We booked a self-drive Namibia highlights tour with them and from the very beginning the communication was super smooth and easy. Johann and team accommodated our requests and patiently answered all our questions.
They were also very supportive and very quick to act when a flight delay caused us to loose a full day from our trip and helped us adjust the plan and make the best of the first days despite the delays.
The trip went very smooth and all the lodges they booked were beyond our expectations. The information they provided us before the trip helped us be very prepared and from the moment we landed we knew what to expect and were able to enjoy our vacation care-free.

Our safari in Namibia's Etosha National Park was a great experience. The park’s vast landscapes, from shimmering salt pans to wildlife-rich bushlands, set the stage for unforgettable animal encounters. Watching elephants, lions, and giraffes at the waterholes is a highlight, especially during the dry season.
The lodges were magnificent within and around the park. We always enjoyed delicious food
Etosha is definately a must-visit for anyone seeking a remarkable safari.
