Back in Argentina after an unforgettable trip!
We’re very happy with the service: everything went as planned, the accommodations were comfortable, and our guide was kind, attentive and knowledgeable. The vehicle was perfect for the safari, and the landscapes and wildlife experiences were simply breathtaking.
A big thank you to the team for making this journey so special. We’ll keep these memories forever!
A very special thank you to our driver, Leven
He was always kind, helpful, and attentive throughout the journey. His good energy and professionalism made our trip even more enjoyable and memorable. Grateful to have shared this adventure with him!
Great tour and guide!
We had an amazing time on our 9-day trip to Uganda. Levan was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely kind. We saw an incredible number of animals in every park we visited, and all of the lodges were comfortable and well chosen. The gorilla trekking was truly unforgettable and the highlight of the trip. Highly recommend this tour company for an incredible Uganda experience.

Great tour operator, very experienced and capable
Fantastic trip booked directly with ATA. Nicholas owns and runs the company, he is very experienced, has great connections and looks after his staff. He was very responsive and helpful with planning and organising the trip. This involved flying in to Kigali, gorilla tracking in Bwindi and Mgahinga Parks in Uganda, and golden monkey tracking in Volcanoes Park in Rwanda. We also stayed by Lake Mutunga which was great for swimming and boat trips. The price was reasonable. It was helpful to confirm the exaction itinerary and bookings before-hand. Spending time with the gorillas in their natural habitat was an incredible experience.
Our driver / guide was Jovia who was brilliant and really helped the trip to be even more enjoyable. She was very pleasant to be with, and gave us a lot of interesting and helpful information, and made sure all the activities went smoothly. She is a very safe and competent driver and planned timings very well. It was also very interesting to get to know her a bit and hear about Rwanda and some of its history. She has led the way being one of the first female drivers / guides in Rwanda, and is a great role model.
Overall, this has been one of our best and most enjoyable trips, and we are very glad that we booked with Nicholas at ATA and were able to have Jovia to look after us.

Nicholas is a true professional
My wife and I love to travel and we diligently research travel options. We narrowed the east Africa tour companies to five, then interviewed three and Nicholas stood head and shoulders above the rest. We were mainly interested in primates so we decided Uganda had more to offer than Rwanda. We did not want a canned tour. Nicholas arranged, small airplane travel to Bwindi then our guide transported us to Queen Elizabeth Park for a river Safari and then finally Kibale for chimpanzee trekking. Initially we were a little concerned about safety, but the people of Uganda are so kind. Especially the men are quick to laugh. Our guide Justus had family from the area so he easily spoke with everyone along the trip and we felt very comfortable. We also decided to visit Tanzania where wildebeest and zebras were birthing their calves for the beginning of the great circular migration. Nicholas was able to coordinate all of the small plane travel within Uganda as well as the international plane travel to Tanzania. There were some last-minute flight changes, as usual, and Nicholas was always available and he contacted us during each transition to make sure everything went smoothly. The lodges he recommended were excellent. Nicholas is a true professional much like I remember travel agents in the United States in the 1900s. You will not be disappointed.

great 10 days and one of our best safaries
We have just spent 10 days on Uganda safari with Africa Tours Adventure. It was one of our best safaries and we were 100% satisfied with it. Highlights were Murchison falls NP with boat trip, Kigale NP with chimpansees, Bwindi NP with gorilla tracking. But also Mgahinga NP with golden monkey tracking, Lake Mutanda and Rwanda experience with Kigali genocide memorial were great places to see. Planning our route, choosing the accomodation, securing all permits, arranging our departure from Rwanda, there was always quick Nicholas response and very reasonable advice. But the best of all was Barnabas, our guide. Excellent driver, wise ,nice man, with knowledge not only of Uganda and itś beauties. We felt perfectly safe in his hands and we felt, that he would do enything to secure the best for us. His attitude was profesional as well as practical and the whole safary experience was very nice and comfortable. We also think, that the value for money was very reasonable. Thank you Nicholas and Barnabas and hope to see you again.
