Magical experience!!!!
5/5

This was with out a doubt the best Family trip ever! I emphasize the word family because Michael Massonda and Cape dogs Safaris became part of our family or they made us feel part of theirs with their infinite attentions and hospitality! They put together for us the perfect combination of places and people for us to explore in the most exciting way possible all the wonders Tanzania has to offer! We take back home with us the most beautiful memories that we will forever treasure, and a true friend: the cape dogs safari family :) !!

Excellent service, amazing experience!
5/5

We got a safari for 7 people from December 29 to January 10, and we had the experience of our lives. In the first park, Serengeti, we saw most of the animals, was incredible to ride from one place to another for being able to see the action. After Serengeti we go to Ndutu where was also beautiful experience since the cars can get close to the animals, later we got to Ngorongoro where we where able to see the black Rinocerous that was the 5 big missing for us...we ended our experience in the elephant paradise of Tarangire with the great landscapes full of Baobab trees. I truly recommend Cape Dog Safaris and Michael Masonda for the Tanzania ride.

Beautiful and memorable trip!
5/5

Our trip with Michael was unbelievable - his knowledge of the flora and fauna was so deep, his respect for the conversation of the system so inspiring that we were incredibly touched and left feeling we had learned so much from a great master. We were very well looked after every day and our vehicle was great for photography. It was comfortable and clean and Michael ensured we were catered for from having ice cold water, snacks and battery chargers! Our itinerary was perfect and he listened to what we wanted to see and do advising us and ensuring we were able to view all wildlife. Michael seemed to know of the best viewing spots often bringing us to secluded aress where he knew the animals would be! We were so lucky to have such a tailored and amazing experience!

Michael Massonda was an excellent guide
5/5

Michael Massonda was an excellent guide for me and my family. Together with my father, brother, sister, brother's wife, and sister's boyfriend, I greatly appreciated Michael's driving skill, his extensive commentary about the wildlife around us, and his very genial company both in the landcruiser, and during the meals that we invited him to join. This was all particularly amazing in view of the personal tragedy that had befallen him just before we arrived (a death in his family). I will always remember this trip to the Serengeti fondly, and Michael Massonda deserves most of the credit for that. Thank you very much, Michael!

Great 3 Day Safari
5/5

I went on a great 3 - day Safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Mayara that was personally organized on a very short notice by the owner of Cape Dog Safaris - Michael Massonda and operated by their local partners Africa VIP Travels in Arusha. Despite the short notice everything was organized excellently and I had a great experience.

You would be more than satisfied with the great assistant of their work. I can't ask for more from them. Do contact them if you are TV crew just like myself.

Amazing Safari and Tanzanian Adventure!
5/5

Cape Dog Safari provides a very personal unique experience! Michael goes above and beyond to ensure that he meets the needs of his clients for the ultimate adventure. His knowledge of the wildlife, culture, and people made our trip to Ngorongoro a bucket list check mark complete. He encourages his clients to enjoy the splendor of the environment and beauty of crater without rushing thru the experience. We watched a pack of elephants saunter across the crater and passed within feet our jeep! Baby zebra, hyenas chasing water buffalo, wildebeest, rhino's and much more! Michaels personally worked to reschedule our trip and accommodate flight delays. It was truly a pleasure to work with him. Can't wait for our next time in Tanzania!

Life won't be complete without a Cape Dog Safari
5/5

Just like anyone who has watched documentaries on TV, I've always wanted to just crawl inside the TV and pop out into the other side to see everything in real life. Cape Dog Safaris was able to bring my dream into reality. I was able to see more animals with them than when I watched the Lion King. Aside from the standard animals like zebras and gazelles, we were able to see the famous wildebeest crossing, a lion kill and spot the elusive leopard in our first 2 days alone! I learned a bonanza of knowledge from how to track animals to why they behave the way they do. Then we'd end the day in fantastic mobile tents that never failed to serve me great sunset cocktails followed by a hot shower after dinner. I need to go back!

It's an adventure that I will never forget
5/5

It's a bit scary to travel such a far distance and being out of my element. I was completely vulnerable having put my trust in the hands of Michael. Having said this, Michael is absolutely a trust worthy man. He is a trailblazer and leader. Where many tours were rushing around chasing the pride, Michael, guided us to spots where we enjoyed exclusive experiences with a variety of animals. Nothing can quite explain the thrill of viewing a Cheetah just 10 feet from the Vechicle or observering Elephants feed from the trees. Michael, listens well and helps you decide your agenda before you arrive. The accommodation are top notch, this also depends on what you want. The experience is quite different in the bush than at the Nogorogoro crater lodge. My wife and I traveled in the off season. Sure, it was wet but, we saw plenty of animals and avoided the crowds of tours. Someday, we will return to Africa and I wouldn't hesitate to book a tour with Cape Dog!
