Excellente organization with very professional and friendly guides
I have gone to two safaris with Cape Dog Safaris, on the first one I went with my wife and another couple. On this first safari we went to several parks and to Central Serengueti, we had a great time, lot of action, the guide was very profesional and friendly, the hotels very nice with excellent service. Both couples had such a good experience that both decided to go back a year later with the rest of the family. In our case we went with our son and daughter, this time we went mainly to North Serengueti, we had the opportunity to see the river crossing, the big five, on this second safari we had another guide from Cape Dog, he was as profesional and friendly as the one we had on our first safari.
On the second safari we had an airplane maintenance problem and lost the connection, arriving one day late to Tanzania, we had god communication with Cape Dog Safari and they helped us to organize things at our arrival in order to get to the camp with no delay.
Right now we are planning to do our third safari at South Serengueti, and for sure we will do it again with Cape Dog Safari.

Simply AMAZING
I could not have been happier with the safari experience that our guide Michael provided us!! From the locations we visited to the lodges we stayed at and the food and drinks we enjoyed, it was absolutely the trip of a lifetime.
It was Michaels personality and expertise, however, that truly made this safari the most incredible experience I could have ever hoped for. I cannot wait to get back to Africa again, and there is no other guide that I would consider for my next safari!!!

I've been on two safaris with Michael Massonda, the first, several years ago by myself, and the second, earlier this month with my family. A dream becoming realitey!
This experience was increadible!! More than I could ever ask for!
When we landed in the airport Michael was waiting for us outside with a big smile and warm hugs. He fixed with our luggage and had water already prepared for us in the car (the whole 12 days trip was filled with these small beautiful details).
While he drew us to the first hotel that night, he told us about the country and answered all the questions we had. Since we were a group of Spanish speaking people, he fixed a Spanish speaking guide for us, that he made sure was amazing, which he really was! James Ringo.
The whole safari experience was incredible! We saw everything we wished to see! All the big 5 plus the rest of the wild life you only thought you would see in TV.
All the hotels that Michael had arranged for us were perfect with delicious food and top quality service.
We felt safe and extremely happy during the whole trip!
Michael kept in touch with us all the time to make sure we were doing fine.
If it was possible to rate cape dog safari with 6 stars, I would have done so!

Best Trip Ever
Michael and his crew are by far the most kind and welcoming operators you can find. From the very beginning when we started planning our vacation they were on top of every detail, send us info, making opportune reservations in the best places and planning our overall experience. Since the planning was done so well, our trip can easily be described as a one lifetime experience. Every detail in the trip was taken care of, every day itinerary was carefully plan to maximize our chance of experiencing great games. As a guide Michael is exceptional, he knows African wildlife profoundly and that makes the trip even richer, as you go on learning about your surroundings constantly.

Amazing wildlife encounters!
We had a great experience with Cape Dog. The company went out of their way to make our trip to Tanzania and Kenya a memorable and enjoyable trip. Trip of a Lifetime!!!
As we just celebrated one year since the most memorable trip of our lives, I think of the trip fondly and write a review--myself, this time (my husband and brother wrote their's at the completion of our trip). But a year later, I look at the pictures again on the anniversary of the trip, and long to go back. It was, without a doubt, the best trip of my life. Michael and his expertise and knowledge of his homeland made us feel completely comfortable and at ease, on our first trip to Tanzania. Our young children were captivated each day on safari, seeing the beautiful animals and vast scenery. It was wonderful to see each unique lodge he had thoughtfully chosen for us, to meet amazing people I tearfully said goodbye to on departure, and make memories to cherish forever. We can't thank Michael enough, for making our trip so special. I HIGHLY recommend using him for your trip to Africa, you will be in the BEST hands and be glad you did so. Once in a lifetime experience
I wanted to write a review for Cape Dog Safaris because we had a phenomenal Safari trip. It was beyond our expectations. The guide and accommodations chosen for us were spot on. They attended to all of our needs, including my Gluten Free food allergy and we were able to thoroughly enjoy our vacation. We never thought we would ever see the wildlife that we saw on the Serengeti, and our guide was so knowledgeable on the wildlife and animal behavior, which made our trip much more enjoyable and educational.
We will be talking about our Safari on the Serengeti with Cape Dog Safaris for years to come.
