Second time Ajabu Adventures, perfect again!
5/5

We made a 8 days tour. We visited Lake Manyara NP, Serengeti NP, Tarangire NP and the impressing Ngorongoro. We were travelling with Ajuba Adventures for the second time, because the safari’s of Ajabu we know are perfectly customer made. We like to stay in nature, we prefer to sleep in tented camps, to get up early in the morning. Our guide Juma, organized the trip perfectly according to our wishes.
When you are looking for a well organized, and also really customer made safari Ajabu Adventures is a perfect choice.

We recommend Ajabu Adventures for an amazing Safari in Tanzania
5/5

In June we visited Ajabu for the 3th time with Ajabu. We love Tanzania!!! And also this time we enjoyed our stay just as much (or even more) than before.

We recommend Ajabu because you can arrange your safari exactly like you want it to be. They know the best and most beautiful places to stay or to visit. Choose the parcs you want to visit, how long you want to stay in each park. Everything is possible. Ajabu arranges high or low end accomodations, according to your wishes. They know the best places to stay during your safari.

Our guide was Juma who is really very friendly, enthousiastic and know everything about Africa, her nature, wilde animals etc etc. Impressive!

After 1 week safari we went to Zanzibar. Heaven on earth! A really nice place to rest on the beautiful beach or plan activities like spotting dolphins of kiting.

Ajabu Adventures: Asante sane for our amazing time. We hope to see you again!

A beautiful introduction to the animals, the land and the people of Tanzania.
5/5

We had never been to Tanzania before. Ajabu Adventures organized everything for us in a way that really enabled us to experience life in and around the Serengeti. Ajabu couldn't do enough for us. They took care of all the arrangements, the communications, the lodging so that we could focus on the animals and the land. A big plus was our driver/guide. He knew so much, taught us so much and was as excited as we were to see the animals even though he is native to the region and has done this hundreds of times. We will go back again and will happily book through Ajabu. I am so glad we went with this smaller company.

Awesome adventures with Ajabu
5/5

We spent ten days on safari perfectly organised by Anja and Gert who put together a fantastic itinerary for us to see the northern Tanzanian parks. Hard to pick out the highlights since each day gave us so many memorable moments. Tree-climbing lions in Manyara, migrating herds of wildebeest in the Serengeti, the awesome Ngorongoro crater, a night safari, an early morning balloon ride followed by breakfast, getting close up and personal with elephant families, watching the day-to-day fight for survival - you name it we saw it. 2500 kilometres in a great off road Land Rover (envied incidentally by many of the Land Cruiser drivers we met) driven by the inimitable Juma who could spot a leopard miles away up a tree at the same time as negotiating rough tracks and found us memorable picnic spots each day to eat our packed lunches, as well as remaining helpful, friendly and knowledgeable throughout what were often long and gruelling days of driving. Each lodge/camp we stayed overnight in brought new excitement, buffalo snuffling around in Kubukubu, elephant only yards away from our tent in Tarangire. Never a dull moment, it may well be our last safari as we are not as young as we were, but what a holiday to remember! Thank you Ajabu for making it possible.

Perfect Safari!
5/5

For us a perfect safari consists of a good guide, comfortable car, spotting the Big Five, unexpected adventure, witnessing a kill, seeing a cheetah so close you can almost touch him, lovely lodges/tents, good weather, delicious food, new knowledge.
Ajabu Adventures made all of this possible for us!
Special thanks to our friendly and more than good guide Juma!
We hope to come back to Tanzania in a few years. Ajabu sana, kwaheri! The Nap Family

More impressive then we could ever imagine
5/5

We (a family with 4 sons) had a great trip in Tanzania and Zanzibar. Ajabu had everything very well organised. We were especially pleased with our tour Guide Juma. He taught us a lot about Tanzania, the people and the wildlife. And our boys loved him. A care free holiday!!
Every day we were even more amazed about the beauty of the country, the Natural parcs and the lodges we stayed at. Our itinerary was excellent, with the right mixture of travel and leisure.
We certainly would recommend Ajabu Adventures to anyone who wants a trip of a life time in africa

Ajabu Adventures: an outstanding safari
5/5

In september 2016 we had an outstanding safari with Ajabu. From the very beginning (planning at home in the Netherlands) we had good communications with Anja at Ajabu. Informations, answers and suggestions were prompt and accurate. The safari was perfectly fitted into our traveling scheme. Starting from de nice Kikongoni Lodge near Arusha, we had a ten days program in Tanzania. The five days safari with Ajabu to Lake Manyara, the Ngorogoro and the Serengeti was part of it. It was a great experience. We got everything that was promised to us. Fine Lodges to stay in (Bougainville Lodge and Ndutu Lodge). The two nights in the Tent Camp on the Serengeti were an experience in itself. The beautiful landscapes and the wildlife of Tanzania were overwhelming.
Our guide and driver Jumah was really outstanding. Five stars plus! Great knowledge of flora and fauna, sharp detection of wildlife and driving carefully. But moreover we had many many interesting conversations about cultural, social and economical issues in Tanzania. In the meantime we learned a bit of Swahili. It is possible to become friends within five days.
In summary, it was a great experience. Recommendation, contact Ajabu Adventures!

Excellent experience trip with Ajabu Adventures
5/5

For a long time I wanted to have a trip with my daughter to a special place for her 15th birthday, so we decided Africa as one of our dream destinations. We started our search with SafariBookings and of six companies I quoted, only two replied and only Ajabu was eager to design for us the perfect trip. We had requested to visit a place involved in wildlife conservation and Manyara Ranch, under the African Wildlife Foundation, accepted to receive both of us in the house of the manager Mr. Fidelis ole Kashe. Accomodations had to be arranged by Ajabu ( because that is not a lodge or hotel) and we had a wonderful 2 day and 2 nights stay with very special staff, such as Dr. Lemaly Kibirity and Ajabu staff Shakila and Mary. We had the most wonderful guide, Juma Yusuf, perfect for us who have been in contact with organizations and parks that are engaged in nature conservation projects. With Juma we discussed not only wildlife and animal behavior, but also engaged in discussions about anthropological and social issues about the local cultures. Well prepared, and always with a smile, we truly felt safe and happy around Juma. We visited Manyara Ranch, Serengeti, Nogorongoro Crater, Tarangire and a small Maasai boma, out of the tourist route. I am very grateful with Anja and Gertjan for all their follow-up before, during, and even after out trip to Tanzania. I would give all the Ajabu team a Gold Medal :)

Amazing 8-day Safari with Adjabu Adventures!
5/5

My daughter and I just returned from an 8-day Tanzania safari with Adjabu Adventures. Anja was very good about responding to my emails in a timely manner, in the planning stages, and arranged it so that we were able to create a private safari, based on the things that we wanted to see and do. Our guide, Issa, was amazing, and always made our safety and comfort, his #1 priority, and he seemed to have a sixth-sense when it came to spotting the animals. Our safari went beyond our expectations, and I would highly recommend Adjabu Adventures for creating a tailored and personal safari experience. Meeting with Anja and Gertjan after our safari, gave it that personal touch, and if you are even considering doing an African Safari, don't hesitate to book with Adjabu Adventures! Adjabu means "amazing" in Swahili, and they lived up to it in every sense of the word! Thank you to our guide, Issa, and Adjabu Adventures for helping us to create such wonderful lifetime memories!

Personal touch in Tanzanian wildernes and Zanzibar
5/5

We have had via Ajabu Experience a wonderfull holiday in Tanzania. We booked the flights ourselves but for the safari and the stay in Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam was that somewhat more difficult. Anja from Ajabu made us a very nice poposal for a 8-day safari to Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorogoro crater and Tarangire. We had nice, small lodges what we liked. In Serengeti we were in the South part because at that time of the year there are more animals. Guide Issa was great!.
After the safari we spent 8 days in Zanzibar of which 2 days in Stone Town and next with the ferry to Dar to finish our holiday. It was excellent and made very personal for us.
A wonderfull holiday, for a great part due to the organization by Ajabu. We advice everybody to go with Ajabu.
