Excellent arranged trip to Uganda and Zanzibar by Wal-Mark Africa Safaris
5/5

The two of us (Bente and Trond) booked our 2019 summer holidays with Wal-Mark Africa Safaris. We are very satisfied. The manager Roger is a good guy, did everything he could to make us happy and did most of the driving around Uganda.
What we did; Arrived Entebbe and was met by Roger. He drove us to Entebbe Palm hotel were we stayed the night. Next day we had a long drive to Kasese and crossed Equator twice. Then 6 days of mountain hike guided by Rwenzori Mountaineering Services and reach up to 4541 meter above sea level. Wonderful! Roger picked us up again and tok us to a 2 night stay at Rweteera Safari Park for relaxing. Nice place besides one of the crater lakes.
The next two days we drove to Murchison Falls National Park for Game drives and boat trip on the Victoria Nile. Roger joined us all the way and we had a great time.
The last part of our holiday we spent at Zanzibar outside Tanzania. Roger took us to the Entebbe airport before, and picked us up when we came back. The last day in Uganda we spent in a Kampala sightseeing with Roger. Unfortunately the traffic was extensive and slow so most of the time was spent in the car, but still interesting :-). Thanks Roger for a wonderful time :-)

Beautiful learning experience seeing the amazing gorillas in the wild and meeting beautiful locals.
5/5

My brother and I had a great experience and we want to thank our fantastic guide Irene for organizing it so well. Uganda is a beautiful country with a rich culture. It was beautiful meeting all the locals on the way to and from the gorilla trekking in Bwindi. The gorilla trekking itself was also an amazing experience that I will forever cherish in my heart. These animals are so spectacular and smart and I'm glad I got to see them in their natural habitat as I don't like when they are kept in captivity at zoos. The money you spend on this tour goes to the reserve and rangers who keeps them safe from hunters and it also supports the local community. It's a really humbling experience to meet all the beautiful people and I'm so grateful to have met the Batwa-tribe and I want to thank them for welcoming us in such a beautiful way. I would definitely recommend booking your tours with Irene and I hope to return soon so I can see and learn even more about this beautiful land. Thank you to everyone we encountered during our trip!

Amazing Hospitality and beautiful country 10 days safari
5/5

First time to visit Uganda but it was worth it though my keen interest was the primate treks and the experience was breath taking. Thank God Roger Advised that its raining in the jungle and i came prepared and didn't slide much, guides were helpful and well informed. Bwindi forest jungle park, Queen Elizabeth park, Kibaale forest park and Murchison falls park were my safari destination. Roads are horrible off the tarmac but the safari car was in good shape. Hope to visit soon with friends

i do recommend WalMark Africa safaris, they were supportive in my itinerary discussions and schedule

excellet service, well crafted value for money safari and coordination of transfer kenya to Uganda
5/5

Met Rogers William the manager way back in Swaziland and he talked me into safari adventures in East Africa so i connected to explore more. They tailored a Masai Mara-Amboseli park adventure in Kenya and arranged flight connect to Entebbe Uganda, picked on time and commenced for my Mountain Rwenzori Hike beautiful mountain i can see before trekking the Chimpanzees in Queen Elizabeth forest reserve and Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Jungle park

The experience was great and memorable and i can say they selected modest Budget accommodation which was value for money and he organized a city tour and night hangout which was amazing.

I would recommend Wal-Mark Africa safaris and you will love these guys, they know what they do!

Got recommendation from my Canadian friend about Walmark Africa Safari and they didnt disappoint.
Had 10days for Africa adventure family of 4 and we left with beautiful memories and a true warm picture for Africa, warm hearts and friendly

DR Congo Virunga national park was scarely but we needed this based on stories shared about it and we safely made it and seeing those huge Mountain Gorillas was worth the drive

Thanks Roger for also bookings and coordinations and the connecting flight from Entebbe airport Uganda to Jomo Kenyatta Nairobi Airport as we connected to the great Masai Mara park such a nature beauty to see it all

wish you guys all the best and see you next time

Our family experienced the wonder of Kenyan and Uganda wildlife in a positive and exhilarating way.
5/5

Wal-Mark organized two experiences for our family group of five people. Our two separate groups were kindly met on different days at the Entebbe Airport in Uganda. Rogers, the owner, toured three of us around Kampala one day while the other group made their way to Uganda. Once congregated, we all were driven to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to go gorilla trekking. Our driver, Ema, was competent, knowledgeable, and friendly. The company provided a fantastic opportunity to interact with the gorillas without spending an extreme fortune.

Wal-Mark coordinated our second set of experiences on a 4-day safari in Kenya to the Maasai Mara and Lake Navuru Nat'l Park (also included a stop at Lake Naivasha). We departed from Nairobi and drove to the parks to have a safari every day of the four. Accommodations sufficed fine even though we did not choose extreme luxury. We saw all of the animals except a few types of hoofstock we had hoped to see (we saw the Big Five).

Communication with Wal-Mark was easy. Rogers and his guides/drivers have a good command of English.

We experienced monsoon rains in both countries and both of our drivers/guides proved their competence by keeping us safe and secure. They also supplied information about animals, birds, and plant life.

6 day Gorilla, chimps and game drive Uganda and Rwanda
5/5

I had a Budget safari with Walmark safaris commencing with Queen Elizabeth park where i chanced to sight the Big 4 (Tree climbing Lions, Leopard, Elephant herds and Buffalo herds at Ishasha south gate, did the chimpanzee trek at Kalinzu forest with good guides and headed for the Gorilla tracking at Reshega sector while enjoying Lake Bunyonyi true paradise to relax and since i didn't what the long drive back to Kampala i requested for the Kigali- Rwanda drop off and loved the flexibility of the company guide because i managed to pass by the Kigali genocide memorable museum and a city drive before heading to catch my flight

Ask me value for money yap i got and their reception and efforts to ensure i feel comfortable during my trip was great. I recommend travelers heading to Uganda/Rwanda to utilize their services. The MD Roger is a very gentle and informed gentleman and very guide full even on budget issues

Excellent, life-changing experience, great guide!
5/5

Our guide, Rogers, was organized, funny and put our whole group at ease. He was informed, easy to understand and very connected within the safari community in Uganda. He knew just who to talk to, getting us connected with the most friendly gorilla family, giving us the closest encounters possible. We stayed in Bwindi to see the mountain gorillas and then headed to Queen Elizabeth National park for a game drive and boat trip up the channel. So fun!
