One of the best experiences in our lifetime
5/5

We did a 3 day Safari to Murchison Falls National Park, and it was absolutely great. We were able to see all of the Big 5 - the highlight was when we got to see 6 female lions having "breakfast" - truly very special.

Our guide, Blackie, was keen to make our experience as good as possible and became a true friend during our short trip. The only downside was that we could only do 3 days!

Make the Experience Yours
5/5

Went on a 3 day trip to Murchison Falls with Blackie. He was an amazing guide and driver. I had the most amazing time not only getting to experience all of the animals and national park by also learning so much as we drove through Uganda! Blackie is very helpful, has so much knowledge to offer, and will help make any trip the experience you are looking for!

Extremely awsome
5/5

I had the chance to visit Muchison falls National park for a 3 days trip with Wild Discoveries Safaries and Blackie was a our driver and guide, i must say i was impressed. His information on different aspects ranging from different wildlife species within the park, cultural info as well as lots of stories about Uganda and the different cultures made the entire journey on the road and within the park memorable. His new and exciting ideas such as bush breakfast and breakfast at the top of the falls made the trip even more thrilling and to top it all up, great sights of different wild animal species in the park, and the magnificent top of Murchison falls. Great trip i must say, every moment of it was totally worth it.

Second Trip with Wild Discoveries!
5/5

This is my second trip with Wild Discoveries. My first trip was six months earlier and I had such an amazing time, I went back! Because Wild Discoveries is Ugandan owned and operated with the founders having many years experience in both wildlife conservation and hospitality, they have all these inside connections that make the safaris and hotel stays extra special. At one location we had a private, evening game drive where we saw five female lions and were able to intimately watch their evening rituals. It was incredible. We also did a boat tour on the Nile (iconic) and the wildlife viewing was unreal - elephants, crocodiles, hippos, antelope, giraffe, warthogs, birds and more. Wild Discoveries may not have all the fancy bells & whistles like some of the bigger tour operators but you'll experience Uganda, the people and wildlife in a way no large tour operator could ever offer. If you want a truly authentic experience, I highly recommend Wild Discoveries Safaris.

Phenomenal First Trip to Africa!
5/5

I heard about Wild Discoveries Safaris from a friend of mine. I was in the process of planning my first trip to Africa and she highly recommended using them after having such a great experience with them herself. I wanted to be able to customize my itinerary based on several suggestions I had received from friends on places to go in Kenya and Uganda and it was imperative that I worked with someone whom I could trust and also had an established reputation in the industry, especially since this was my first visit to Africa. I cannot stress enough how valuable this company was to me before my arrival and throughout my entire time there. They had local contacts in every area that I wanted to visit and they offered behind the scenes unique experiences that I could not find anywhere else. I felt completely safe and taken care of every step of the way. They also took all of the unnecessary stress out of booking the trip. I just gave them my list of preferences and my top priorities and they worked out an amazing itinerary, which included everything I wanted and more. In Kenya, I visited the largest ivory burn site and enjoyed a game drive in Nairobi National Park. I also visited Mbegu, a baby elephant I had adopted at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, which rescues orphaned baby elephants, rehabilitates them and integrates them back into the wild once they are ready. I trekked mountain gorillas in Bwindi, visited an amazing chimp sanctuary on Ngamba Island, had a unique experience playing with baby chimps at UWEC , spent time with a family of rhinos at Ziwa rhino sanctuary, went on a game drive in Queen National Park and another one in Murchison Falls where we used a trusted local park guide who allowed us to see elephants, giraffes, Cape buffalo, kob, wart hogs, hartebeest, waterbucks, bushbucks, various bird species among other amazing animals, all ending with an intimate viewing of 5 lionesses reuniting at sunset after a long day of wandering throughout the savanna. I also took a river cruise along the Nile River and watched hippos and their babies playing in the water, spotted some Nile crocs and watched a family of elephants bath in the water while various birds and eagles sat majestically in plain viewing site just waiting for their pictures to be taken. The drivers were all amazing and their hospitality was unmatched. I highly recommend anyone traveling to Africa to use Wild Discoveries Safaris. They are true professionals with behind the scenes local connections and collective knowledge that is far superior than many of the other safari operators out there. This will be a trip I will never forget and I definitely intend to return to experience even more that Africa has to offer. Thank you so much Wild Discoveries Safaris and a special thank you to Blackie Mukasa for organizing a trip of a lifetime!!!! Tracey

Amazing Week in Uganda with Wild Discoveries
5/5

I was extremely impressed by Wild Discoveries professional yet personal experience. I spent a full week traveling the country with Wild Discoveries and one of the things that made the experience so wonderful is that they are fully owned and operated by Ugandans who have been working in the international safari and tourism business for several years. Our driver had local contacts at all of the major destinations which resulted in first-hand and sometimes exclusive knowledge of on-the-ground information. For example, during one of our early morning game drives, he was able to call a local lion researcher and find out where the lions were in the park. As a result, we were the first ones there and got to spend time with the lions before any other cars/tourists arrived. Our driver had also worked with chimpanzees for many years and is a true wildlife expert. We saw elephants, giraffes, buffalos, chimps, lions, hyenas, leopards, you name it. As far as booking and organizing the trip, it was simple and straight-forward. I was traveling with someone who had been to Uganda before so she knew which parks and places she wanted to take me, but then Wild Discoveries made all the arrangements and figured out the best order/schedule based on our priorities. I felt safe, relaxed and totally taken care of the entire time. I genuinely did not have a single problem and recommend them very highly.
