Thank you for a great life time experience
5/5

We had the greatest safari ever with 'taste of africa safaris'. Moses, our safari guide was very informative about the wilds and amazing during the whole safari. Seka has been our first contact when searching for our first trip to Tanzania in Africa. He was very patient with us. We had alot of questions concerning our first trip to Tanzania. During Corona pandemic time we were skeptic to go but all our questions and wishes were well answered and our safari was super organised by this company. They even provided extra corona/covid-19 insurance during our safari even though we''ยด were already insured from our Country. Considering the communication, information and paymentt method me and my husband have been very happy and satisfied with the payment procedure. They even accepted paypal payment as extra payment method. All lodges and tented camps were booked for us. There it was clean and we could also take hot showers. In total we had a good times with the friendly staff, good meals from Breakfast to diner. We really appreciate and recommend this Company for providing good, professional service reasonable priced. Believe me, you won't regret it. Thank you Moses & Seka. We hope to meet you next year for our Kilimanjaro trekking.
Greetings from Germany, Frankfurt -

Amazing safari with the best guide
5/5

We went on a safari with Taste of Afrika back in May 2019 to Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire. They were amazing, couldn't be more helpful. They arranged pick up from the airport for us, a hotel to stay in before the safari started, great accommodation during the safari and hotel and airport transfers for afterwards too. Our tour guide Kepha was so friendly and answered all our questions. He found all the big 5 for us and was so patient when we all struggled to spot certain animals in trees/in the distance. Would highly recommend Taste of Afrika!

9 days budget camping safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, Natron and Eyasi
5/5

Our private 9 days safari with Taste of Africa was outstanding! We created tailor-made itinerary and it was our excellent guide as we explored all Northern Circuit. We chose the parks, places to visit and lodges for some nigts instead of public camps with no additional cost. We added Lake Natron and Lake Eyasi to our Northern Circuit itinerary and did not regret summiting the Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano (only 30 percent of climbers summit it according the local guide as it is very challenging), seeing the Natron lake with amazing flamingos and meeting Hadzabe and Datoga tribes by the lake Eyasi.
Thanks for the fun driver, great guide and friend Daniel and amazing kitchen chef Massawe. We all got along well and enjoyed our evening talks after dinner. We always felt Daniel puts an extra effort in game drives and spotting the animals and we appreciated alot. We felt safe along the way, enjoyed our bumpy rides and crossing the flooded river with jeep was something really brave and fun! The most memorable moments: cheetah hunting gazelle and bunch of buffaloes eating grass around our tent at night.
They made our dreams a reality to see all Big 5 up close (except rhino, but we still saw it with binoculars; it's very difficult to spot it close).
The best price for the best safari with the best team! A really memorable experience. Highly recommended!

Life changing experience! Ask for Moses!
5/5

Taste of Afrika is an excellent, highly professional company, and Moses is the best safari guide one can dream of.
Our experience with Taste of Afrika was outstanding. Seka (the owner) helped us tailor the safari perfectly based on our preferences and expectations months in advance. The lodges, tented camps included in the safari were excellent. The safari itself completely exceeded our expectations, thanks to our phenomenal guide MOSES. He made every moment of our five-day safari super enjoyable and was an absolute pleasure to spend time with. He is extremely kind and fun to talk to. And he is also an absolute expert on the national parks we visited and all of the animals we spotted. He always knew where to find the most interesting animal scenes; we were able to see all of the big five on several occasions, and most of them extremely up close. Thank you Moses for an unforgettable experience!!!!Serengeti, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro are extraordinary places to visit. We would recommend a safari there to anyone!!

Amazing, affordable 8-days-camping-Safari in the northern circuit with the best driverguide and chef
5/5

My brother and I had an amazing week with the best imaginable driverguide and an excellent chef. The safari was unexpectedly private (without paying a higher price), as the organization didn't find any other customers to join us. The communication with taste of afrika worked out well, they considered all our wishes concerning the transfer from the airport at our arrival, the duration in the particular national parks or the routes we took to get there. Also the payment worked without complications.
We visited Lake Manyara NP, Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire NP and our Driverguide (Gabrieli Naftal) was the best in spotting animals and explaining a few facts about all of them. He really has a huge knowledge concerning tanzanian wildlife and culture!
The campsites were well chosen and Massawe (our chef) took good care of us. His cooking was delicious! Although there are no fences around the campsites we never felt unsafe. On the contrary, it increased our wildlife experience enormously.
I have to admit, as the safari was very affordable for such a long trip, we were quite sceptical in advance. But as soon as we got there, we were thrilled by the great organization and the kindness of the taste of afrika employees. I would book another safari with this organization without hesitation!

Great experience for a mid-range safari! Affordable prices and awesome guide
5/5

We are 3 canadian travellers. We did a 5 day safari trip with this company. Seka, owner, was responsive to our emails. And gabe, our guide, made all the experience better! We stayed at a mid-range camp for 2 nights in serengeti (tent with beds, shower , bathroom) and the remaining two nights, we stayed at a Bougainvillea (5 star villa) it was great! We paid about 1700 CAD per person

Amazing safari tour
5/5

We arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport and Mr Seka himself came to pick us up :) and dropped us to the overnight hotel that was included in Arusha. The hotel was good with all basic needs for one night. Early morning Mr Seka, Gabriel (our driver) and Ms Meggie came to see us and also to go through our safari itinerary. After that we took off for the tour. We had a 4 day tour (Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro) and it was totally amazing. Our first day in Lake Manyara was really awsome, we saw so many monkeys, elephants and so many different kind of birds. Unfortunately there are no giraffs or lions here.
Second morning we were heading for Serengeti, another amazing place to see. Here you can see almost every animal if your are lucky. After game driving the whole day, by late evening we drove to our camp site which was based inside Serengeti. This was also awsome, to sleep in a camp in the middle of the wild nature. In the middle of the night we could hear hyenas and hogs. They had a lot of security around the camp site so there was nothing to worry about, but very thrilling to imagine what would lie behind those long grass when you wake up in the morning!
Third morning we started from inside Serengeti and did some game driving there till evening.
The fourth morning, our last safari day, we were heading for Ngorongoro, the crater,, also a very special and awsome place. After lunch we headed back to Arusha for our overnight in hotel.
I would recommand that one should do a safari tour at least once, its so amazing and its Worth every penny/cent. We had a great driver, Gabriel, who made our trip unforgettable and he was always so happy, funny, calm and didnt rush to get too close to the animal. He always said, we dont have to get close to them, they will come close to YOU and he was right every time :) We could see some of the drivers get so up close to the animals that it didnt feel right. We could stand very far and suddenly the animal would move and come towards us instead, so just have patience and you will enjoy more and get more upclose to the animal than you would ever imagine.
During lunchtime our driver took us to picnic site where you could stretch your legs, go to washroom and enjoy your lunch pack in the middle of the wild park.
Example when we were in Ngorongoro on picnic site. Just after arriving suddenly we saw behind us over the hill so many zebras trying to get down, where all of us were sitting enjoying lunch, but I guess they got scared seeing us all there and rounded the hill instead
Your daily lunch pack and water is included, but my advise is to bring some dry snacks, like roasted nuts, cassava chips, maybe some dry fruits.
If you feel sick sitting in a car for a long time you should probably bring some medicine for road sickness.
Also bring some warmer clothes, maybe some warmer hats and gloves. We had brought spring/autumn jackets but we still felt very cold during morning time, after 11 am it gets warmer.
In every gate before entering a national park there are good washrooms, make sure you go before you leave :) It will take couple of hours before you make it to the closest washroom again :) Unless you want to go for a bushtoilet, like our driver Gabriel used to joke with us :) :)
Overall this was the best experience ever and we have already decided to come back again and book with same company.
Mr Seka is excellent, you can just mail/call him and tell him what your budget and what kind of tour you want and he will book it according to your requirements. This is a quite new company, but very reliable and trustworthy. There were no problems transferring money or to get receipts for you bookings from Mr Seka.
Mr Seka and Ms Meggie thank you so much for this life time experience. And the opportunity to get to know you both! Mr Gabriel, you were amazing, cant imagine there could be any better driver than you. You made our trip the best ever! You are the best!
We miss you all very much, but we will be back 2020!!

Amazing Safari!! Best tour guide (Moses)!
5/5

From the start tasteofafrica were so professional, adaptable and we're very easy to communicate with. The actual tour (3 days including tarangire, Ngorogoro and Lake Manyara with endoro lodges accommodation) has been so incredible! We have loved every second. Moses (our tour guide) had great English and was very accommodating and informative, great knowledge as a guide and very skilled at spotting animals. Food and accommodation exceeded expectations! Everyone friendly. Felt completely safe throughout as 3 young women. Would defiantly recommend this tour to anyone! It has been a once in a life time experience!

Best Experience of My Life
5/5

Taste of Afrika Safari's customer service was impeccable from start to finish. Admittedly, I was a bit worried upon arrival into JRO that my transportation from the airport to my lodge wouldn't be smooth. I was so relieved (especially after more than 20 hours of flying) to see Maggie, from Taste of Afrika, waiting for me at the gate. She was holding a sign with my name and greeted me with a smile. Each day my experience with Taste of Afrika Safaris was enjoyable and interesting. I was always learning about Tanzanian food, music, history, and biodiversity. Maggie was a large part of my experience. Every time I was confused about something (e.g., how to withdraw from an ATM, how long it takes to get to a destination or day trip, any additional quandaries) she would always do her best to accommodate and made me feel comfortable. She understands that travel is fun but can be exhausting too. This is where she shines in customer service. She anticipates clients' needs and comes through! My driver during the safari, Moses, was excellent as well. At one point, I thought that I had lost my wallet. It was early in the morning before we were heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation that I realized I didn't have it in my luggage. Instead of letting me just stress out and find it on my own, Moses came straight to my table with a wallet and asked if it was mine. Indeed it was! He was proactive and did something above and beyond. I'm truly thankful. Thanks, Taste of Afrika Safaris. I had the best experience of my life doing the safari with my two gal pals because of you!
