Great experience for a mid-range safari! Affordable prices and awesome guide
5/5

We are 3 canadian travellers. We did a 5 day safari trip with this company. Seka, owner, was responsive to our emails. And gabe, our guide, made all the experience better! We stayed at a mid-range camp for 2 nights in serengeti (tent with beds, shower , bathroom) and the remaining two nights, we stayed at a Bougainvillea (5 star villa) it was great! We paid about 1700 CAD per person

Amazing safari tour
5/5

We arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport and Mr Seka himself came to pick us up :) and dropped us to the overnight hotel that was included in Arusha. The hotel was good with all basic needs for one night. Early morning Mr Seka, Gabriel (our driver) and Ms Meggie came to see us and also to go through our safari itinerary. After that we took off for the tour. We had a 4 day tour (Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro) and it was totally amazing. Our first day in Lake Manyara was really awsome, we saw so many monkeys, elephants and so many different kind of birds. Unfortunately there are no giraffs or lions here.
Second morning we were heading for Serengeti, another amazing place to see. Here you can see almost every animal if your are lucky. After game driving the whole day, by late evening we drove to our camp site which was based inside Serengeti. This was also awsome, to sleep in a camp in the middle of the wild nature. In the middle of the night we could hear hyenas and hogs. They had a lot of security around the camp site so there was nothing to worry about, but very thrilling to imagine what would lie behind those long grass when you wake up in the morning!
Third morning we started from inside Serengeti and did some game driving there till evening.
The fourth morning, our last safari day, we were heading for Ngorongoro, the crater,, also a very special and awsome place. After lunch we headed back to Arusha for our overnight in hotel.
I would recommand that one should do a safari tour at least once, its so amazing and its Worth every penny/cent. We had a great driver, Gabriel, who made our trip unforgettable and he was always so happy, funny, calm and didnt rush to get too close to the animal. He always said, we dont have to get close to them, they will come close to YOU and he was right every time :) We could see some of the drivers get so up close to the animals that it didnt feel right. We could stand very far and suddenly the animal would move and come towards us instead, so just have patience and you will enjoy more and get more upclose to the animal than you would ever imagine.
During lunchtime our driver took us to picnic site where you could stretch your legs, go to washroom and enjoy your lunch pack in the middle of the wild park.
Example when we were in Ngorongoro on picnic site. Just after arriving suddenly we saw behind us over the hill so many zebras trying to get down, where all of us were sitting enjoying lunch, but I guess they got scared seeing us all there and rounded the hill instead
Your daily lunch pack and water is included, but my advise is to bring some dry snacks, like roasted nuts, cassava chips, maybe some dry fruits.
If you feel sick sitting in a car for a long time you should probably bring some medicine for road sickness.
Also bring some warmer clothes, maybe some warmer hats and gloves. We had brought spring/autumn jackets but we still felt very cold during morning time, after 11 am it gets warmer.
In every gate before entering a national park there are good washrooms, make sure you go before you leave :) It will take couple of hours before you make it to the closest washroom again :) Unless you want to go for a bushtoilet, like our driver Gabriel used to joke with us :) :)
Overall this was the best experience ever and we have already decided to come back again and book with same company.
Mr Seka is excellent, you can just mail/call him and tell him what your budget and what kind of tour you want and he will book it according to your requirements. This is a quite new company, but very reliable and trustworthy. There were no problems transferring money or to get receipts for you bookings from Mr Seka.
Mr Seka and Ms Meggie thank you so much for this life time experience. And the opportunity to get to know you both! Mr Gabriel, you were amazing, cant imagine there could be any better driver than you. You made our trip the best ever! You are the best!
We miss you all very much, but we will be back 2020!!

Amazing Safari!! Best tour guide (Moses)!
5/5

From the start tasteofafrica were so professional, adaptable and we're very easy to communicate with. The actual tour (3 days including tarangire, Ngorogoro and Lake Manyara with endoro lodges accommodation) has been so incredible! We have loved every second. Moses (our tour guide) had great English and was very accommodating and informative, great knowledge as a guide and very skilled at spotting animals. Food and accommodation exceeded expectations! Everyone friendly. Felt completely safe throughout as 3 young women. Would defiantly recommend this tour to anyone! It has been a once in a life time experience!

Best Experience of My Life
5/5

Taste of Afrika Safari's customer service was impeccable from start to finish. Admittedly, I was a bit worried upon arrival into JRO that my transportation from the airport to my lodge wouldn't be smooth. I was so relieved (especially after more than 20 hours of flying) to see Maggie, from Taste of Afrika, waiting for me at the gate. She was holding a sign with my name and greeted me with a smile. Each day my experience with Taste of Afrika Safaris was enjoyable and interesting. I was always learning about Tanzanian food, music, history, and biodiversity. Maggie was a large part of my experience. Every time I was confused about something (e.g., how to withdraw from an ATM, how long it takes to get to a destination or day trip, any additional quandaries) she would always do her best to accommodate and made me feel comfortable. She understands that travel is fun but can be exhausting too. This is where she shines in customer service. She anticipates clients' needs and comes through! My driver during the safari, Moses, was excellent as well. At one point, I thought that I had lost my wallet. It was early in the morning before we were heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation that I realized I didn't have it in my luggage. Instead of letting me just stress out and find it on my own, Moses came straight to my table with a wallet and asked if it was mine. Indeed it was! He was proactive and did something above and beyond. I'm truly thankful. Thanks, Taste of Afrika Safaris. I had the best experience of my life doing the safari with my two gal pals because of you!

Affordable
5/5

Our 5 day safari was a perfectly arranged by ToA safaris. Seka and Herieth would respond within a day and gladly customized the trip for us, as we were sure of the itinerary we wanted to follow. We were picked up by Gabrieli (our guide for the next 5 days) from Kilimanjaro Airport and drove to Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge (fantastic view from the room) for the first night. Gabbi was great to communicate to, with a great sense of humor and truly made our trip more memorable and fun. He also was very adept at locating game, and tirelessly scouted for hours for us.
Next three nights we spent at Serengeti Heritage Camp (again fantastic bush experience, with hyenas and wild buffaloes walking around the tents, guarded by Masaai though) and Kenzan Camp (did not have a great view though) at Ndutu. We were two couples, so were comfortable in the open top land cruiser. Service was great across all the camps, they truly know how to service guests. We loved the food in general across all the camps. We were on the road for most of the time, so we had packed lunches of fruits and sandwiches during the days, again nicely arranged and served by Gabby. Gabby also got us a bag of Tanzanian hot peppers (pili-pili) which we loved and wanted to take home with us :).

Serengeti seldom disappoints people. Choose the accommodation by doing your own research and budget preferences, and take help from the tour organizing companies. We loved it, and would definitely come back in the future. Thank you ToA and Gabby and Seka. We had one of our most memorable trips.

We really recommend Taste of Afrika safaris because of their prices are very affordable to compared with other local tour company we found on internet not only that but also wonderful services. They provide services that they promised and that you have agreed in itinerary without extra or exchanging anything. 12 Days Best Kilimanjaro climbing and Safari with Taste Of Afrika Safaris
5/5

2. We have just arrive from Tanzania holiday and we did Kilimanjaro through Machame route (Whiskey route). Very tough walk but being proud to be the Hero after finishing . Our main Guide Baraka and Chef Masawe were very helpful, professional and great knowledge of trekking. We had so funny moment during our trekking. We managed to reach on Rooftop of Africa (Uhuru Peak 5895M). We got our Certificate after finishing our Trekking Kilimanjaro while we saw another group didn't managed to reach at Uhuru Peak because they had some issues with their company they booked the trip. Please take my advice and book the extra day for acclimation if you’re skeptical to do trekking in 6 days make it to be seven days because we saw another group they didn’t finished trekking in 6 days . This gives you the best possible and chance of reaching to the top of Kilimanjaro. As a woman, don't expect to wash your hair, put on makeup or look good while on the mountain. Make sure you bring ear plugs because the campsites are noisy sometimes. Please listen to the guides, as their advice is very important. Pole, Pole! This is the best piece of guidance of the Guide. Book your Kilimanjaro trekking reaching on top with Taste Of Afrika they made us to book again 4 days safari with to go to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater . Once in our lifetime we had Unforgettable holiday. Thank you Seka and your Stuff for all Organization on our African safari.

Best local safari company with best services
5/5

Exzellent organization throughout the whole safari of 7 days. Our Tanzanian experience was enhanced by Gabriel as our guide who knows the best places to go to see the wonderful animals. We had very nice time during walking & hunting safari at Lake Eyasi with Hadzabe local tribe (Bushmen). Gabriel asked the elder person of the tribe to take some photos. He stopped and allowed us time to take as many photos as we wanted to. The Land Cruiser was an good vehicle for our safari . The accommodation was very good at the lodges and the food was very delicious too. Our second trip after safari to Zanzibar was also fantastic we stayed in a very good hotel. Great staff and service . Overall a great experience to travel and see most beautiful historical places at Zanzibar. There is no need to worry at all about the organization that has been done for Taste of Afrika Safaris. They're informative and know all best National Parks and the best time to visit in Northern circuit for wild beets or Great Migration. Thank you Seka and Herieth for organizing wonderful trip for us, say hello to Gabriel. Greeting's from Germany. Ahsante Vanessa.
