Perfect for Families — A Safe, Joyful Adventure
Traveling with two children can be stressful, especially in a new country, but Expedition Rwindi Voyage made every step effortless. They understood our needs as a family and built an itinerary that balanced excitement with rest. We saw wildlife up close — from playful golden monkeys to towering giraffes — and yet at no point did we feel rushed or unsafe. The guides were wonderful with the kids, answering their endless questions with patience and genuine warmth. The accommodations were family-friendly, clean, and comfortable, with food that even our picky eater enjoyed! What I appreciated most was how thoughtful the planning was: enough adventure for us adults, enough fun and downtime for the kids, and smooth logistics so we could simply relax. Rwanda is a gem of a destination, and seeing it through the care and expertise of this company made it shine even brighter. The children are still talking about “our friend the guide” weeks later. If you’re considering a trip as a family, this is the team you want by your side — safe, organized, fun, and truly caring.

Fantastic Uganda Tour
Everything was perfect and according to planned. The company of Noah during my 4 days journey from Kigali to Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Mgahinga mountains was helpful and entertaining. I would contact again Rwindi Expeditions if I had to travel to Uganda again.

We had the best time at Expedition Rwindi Voyage
We had the best time at Expedition Rwindi Voyage! It exceeded our expectations. From the start, the staff was very friendly and encouraged us to explore. The whole place was clean, well-organized, and a lot of fun.
We saw so many beautiful animals up close - elephants, giraffes, lions, and more. Some of them even came right up to our car, which was the funniest thing! The guides shared fun tidbits of information along the way, but it never felt too formal or "tour guide-y" - just fun and easy-going.
Overall, this group is truly amazing. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's 100% worth a visit. We left with so many fun memories!

Generally good, but the way they acted was not acceptable.
I booked and paid for a 6-night trip to Rwanda costing nearly $20,000 back in April (4 months before the trip).
Everything went smoothly until we discovered that one of the lodges we had specifically chosen had been changed without our knowledge.
The most frustrating part was not only that we were never informed, but that when we arrived at a lodge (that was clearly not the one we had booked) the agency put on a show pretending that we had been notified — claiming it was a known issue and even promising to show us an email where they had supposedly informed us (which, unsurprisingly, was never shown because it simply doesn’t exist).
At that point, there was no way to get a place at the original lodge we had chosen — and paid for in April! — and we had no option but to settle for a much lower-level lodge. You can't tell me there was no availability at the lodge when we made the reservation back in April!" Clearly, this seems to be a usual way of operating in order to sell trips.
Considering this was a 6-night trip, planned by me down to the smallest detail and costing almost $20,000, what happened is absolutely unacceptable.
We also had issues at another lodge: when we arrived, our room had been double-booked and assigned to other guests as well.
I can’t say whether this was the agency’s fault or the lodge’s, but in any case, we lost an hour trying to sort it out before finally getting our room.
Aside from these issues, the trip went well. The guides were kind and helpful. Rwanda is a beautiful country.
I’m truly very disappointed, but the way the agency handled things is unacceptable for such an expensive trip.

He goes the extra mile
Such an amazing experience. David our tour guide was great and showed us some great spots. We managed to see giraffes, elephants, antelopes, rhinos, warthogs, crocodiles, hippopotamus, many beautiful birds and many more animals. The ride across the country side of rwanda is very touching. The Sunrise and sunset are beautiful. All in all it's an incredible day. And they take great care of us. 🦬🦓🐐🐘🦒🦏🐊🐒

Unforgettable Gorilla Trekking Experience with Expedition Rwindi
Our gorilla tour with Expedition Rwindi was absolutely unforgettable. We were lucky to have Barack and Laban as our tour operators and drivers — both incredibly professional, attentive, and warm. They made sure every part of the journey was smooth, safe, and deeply enriching.
The highlight of the trip, of course, was the gorilla trek itself. We spent 75 magical minutes with a family of nine gorillas, including three silverbacks and two playful youngsters. Watching them eat, interact, and play in their natural habitat was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience — humbling, awe-inspiring, and deeply moving. It felt like being invited into their world, even if just briefly, and it’s something we’ll never forget.
Barack and Laban prepared us so well for the trek and shared so much valuable knowledge along the way. Their passion for conservation and respect for the gorillas really stood out.
On our return journey, Laban took us for a lovely lunch in the Ugandan town of Kisoro — a thoughtful and relaxing stop that showed how much they cared about making the whole experience memorable beyond the trek itself.
Expedition Rwindi managed every detail with care — from permits and logistics to transport. We couldn’t have asked for a better team or a more meaningful adventure.
If you're considering a gorilla trek, we highly recommend Expedition Rwindi — and if you get Barack and Laban, you’re in the best hands possible.

The tour was hugely exceeding all my expectations, combining the lively atmosphere in the city and rural beauty of countryside - however was the Akagera visit such a privilege, to witness greatness of wildlife from the comfortable van !
