I can highly recommend Bushtop Kenya Safaris. Denis was very helpful and responsive from the very start of planning the trip and through the whole visit. First time for us to go to Kenya as a family, and we were a bit nervous. But, Denis proved very reliable, made us feel well taken care of and understood our needs. We had a great time in Diani Beach, East and West Tsavo and in Nairobi. The hotels and lodges were great and suited our family’s needs. We loved the Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge. Saw hordes of animals come up to the water hole by the restaurant in the evening as we were having dinner. An extra bonus. The view from the lodge is amazing and worth the visit in itself. The Ashnil Aruba Lodge was good. We stayed in the tents and loved listening to the natural noise outside at night. Two very different experiences. Great to see both East and West Tsavo as the scenery is very different. Peter was a very knowledgeable guide and made our safari experience the best. Loved taking the train to Nairobi. Saw lots of animals on the way. The hotel in Diani beach was great. Leopard Beach resort sits in a beautiful place on the water with two beautiful secluded beaches in front.

Professional, knowledgeable, great instinct - overall, blow away
We did a 6-day safari, starting in Amboseli (from Nairobi), then Naivasha (boat trip and Crescent Island walk), Nakuru and finally two days in Masai Mara. Bushtop were amazing from start to finish - booking was very smooth, and Denis was very helpful adapting the trip to our wishes. James, our guide, was amazing - very knowledgeable and informative about the animals, with a great instinct for tracking them down as well as some incredible moments (lions hunting twice, for example, as well as two leopards, which is very unusual). He’s very professional, and always made us feel safe and at ease. This is my fourth safari (including working for a few months in a camp in SA), and I was blown away.

Excellent tour through Masai Mara with James
Spent 3 days in Nuguru National Park + Masai Mara as part of our private tour. The driver James did an excellent job from the moment of picking up at the airport, explaining and guiding us through the parks. Would definitely book again with Bushtop Kenya Safaris. Also the suggested lodges were very nice with great food and rooms. Please mind that during our time in November, the lodges (Sarova Lion hill Lodge & Ashnil Mara Camp) were very quiet, while we hoped to have a bit more going on and meet some other travellers at the bar in the evenings.

Communication with Bushtop Safaris went very well. Once we arrived in Nairobi, our guide Henry was waiting for us on time. The days at Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara were very eventful. Henry is a very good driver, knows a lot about the animals and landscapes and was always in a good mood. The pick-up in the morning went very smoothly. I tried to contact 3-4 agencies and asked for the proposal and quotation based on my customized needs. Denis is always the one with quick response and carefully listening to my requests and providing the updated proposal within 24hrs. This momentum did not only shows in the beginning of business seizing, but also last to the last day when I left Nairobi and finished all the trips in Kenya.
And also, you can also get fast response during your every-day trip in Safaris if you have any questions about it. I met with some problems in Samburu and contacted Denis immediately, I can feel he tried his best to make the trip smooth with great efforts and additional fees without charging me. Unexpected things always happen, but Denis and his teams will try their best to make the trip value for money and time.
2) Integrity and honest:
We met some problems in the balance transfer that caused Denis didn’t receive the rest 50% payment until I landed in Nairobi and before I was going to take the flight to Amboseli, so I could only pay again by cash. After that, Denis finally received the payment transferred from my bank then immediately went to the bank to ask for the refunding in the same day. Although something inconvenienced caused, but I highly appreciate and respect the integrity of Denis!
3) Flexible and experienced driver:
Bushtop hires their own drivers in each destination, so you can expect consistently and high-standard experience with their drivers. A responsive team, an excellent guide
We did a 9 day and 8 night safari with Bushtop.
Denis, who manages the hotel reservations and organizes the itinerary, was very responsive and took into account all our wishes.
We did Tsavo, Amboseli, Ol Pejeta, lake Nakuru and Masai Mara.
Our guide, James, was perfect. Very good driver, friendly and went out of his way so that we could see as many animals as possible.

We started planning our Kenya Safari trip few months back and we came across Bush Top Safaris through the Internet,I got in touch with Dennis and he was great!
I got a Prompt & Timely Response from him every time.He was of great help throughout the planning of the trip.
We were 3 families,a group 11 including kids.
From the time we landed at the airport,we were very well taken care of.
Dennis introduced us to our guides,James & Frank.
They were amazing through out the whole trip,they have great knowledge about the wildlife,both very good drivers,good Communication,very cordial and flexible and Most importantly great at spotting the animals.

The stay and food at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge was very good.
Ashnil Aruba Lodge in Tsavo was also good,but the food could have been a little better
The highlight of the whole trip was of course all the wildlife we spotted,it was so exciting for us to see all those animals,in such big numbers in their natural habitat.
James and Frank went the extra mile to spot the animals.
We spotted alot more than we had expected.
To see the Pride of Lions at such close proximity.
Herds of Elephants, Giraffe,Zebra,Impala,Gazelle, Flamingos,Hyena etc etc etc and the Biggest highlight was to spot the Leopard with a cub.
On the whole we had a wonderful experience with Bush Top Safaris.
We will surely recommend them to Everyone who plan to visit Kenya.
