Perfect Safari Experience for us!
We had never been on Safari before so really didn't know what to expect.
Rob at Tailormade was able to advise us particularly about the ethical nature of Safaris and he made the planning very easy. He recommended Sanbona Wildlife Reserve and in particular the tented lodges - we were not disappointed. He gave us detailed directions to the reserve from Cape Town and the journey was as spectacular as he described. We were made to feel very welcome at the lodge and although we were only able to stay one night we managed a most successful evening and a sunrise game drive - not to mention a delicious lunch dinner and breakfast! Our guide at Sanbona made every effort for us to see as much game as possible - especially as we were only there for one night!
We felt the care attention given to us by Rob at Tailormade was excellent. Emails were answered promptly and we were given lots of useful general information about South Africa/Cape Town - places to visit - restaurant recommendations etc.
I would not hesitate to book with Tailormade again.

Tailormade did a great job offering excellent advice on putting our trip together and everything worked seemlessly. The choice of locations was inspired with just the correct amount of adventure and relaxation for our mixed age party. Clyde Beaty and Tailormade Africa are just the best. These are the people you need to book through. Clyde has booked two very different custom trips to Africa for me and they have both been exactly what I wanted. He has an in depth knowledge of many African countries and the hotel or camp facilities as well as the guiding options available. One trip he designed was over a month, covered several countries and many different venues. It was timed perfectly. We were never bored and he booked us at just the right time of year to see what we were looking for. Our most recent trip with him was three weeks long in the fall of 2016 to Ethiopia. This trip was extremely complicated to put together, involved many internal flights and we asked to go not only to the tribal areas, but some other areas that were really "off the grid" and had no hotels or restaurants. We stayed in local huts or camping facilities, had our own cook, food and camping supplies brought in from Addis. The food, camping gear, itinerary and the guides were all great. Not easy to do in Ethiopia. The high end stuff we did was great and so was the way out of the way stuff. Also, I have always felt I got good value from Clyde. None of this kind of thing is cheap, but looking at what we got and what we paid for it, I was very pleased. I also recommended Clyde to my niece who wanted an Africa honeymoon. He did an amazing job and worked within her budget and came up with a truly memorable honeymoon. Clyde is your man.

Very efficent, helpful and confident everything was taken care of to the highest level
I have no complaints about the service. All questions no matter how big or small were answered very quickly. I felt we were in safe hands travelling to a place we knew relatively little about and felt they knew a lot in the specialst field of safaris. We had continued contact throughout the trip and they helped with our travel delays to make sure we got there safe and sound by re scheduling flights etc for us and had the perfect touch of leaving us a bottle of wine to enjoy when we arrived at the lodge after a long day of travelling.
The Safari and lodge choice was incredible I would recommend it to anyone. The flying package with everything we had hoped and more. I really felt everything was taken care of for us and all we had to do was enjoy a trip of a lifetime.
