Our Dream African Safari in Uganda
5/5

My family of 4 did a 5 days safari to Uganda on a tour christened Discover the Big 5 in Uganda's Savannah..... and we saw more the big 5. Boaz was our expert guide driving us through the parks and taking care of us. At Queen Elizabeth National Park we went for game drives and boat rides on Kazinga Channel enjoying the abundant wildlife and nice views. We were then taken to Kyambura Gorge for Chimpanzee Tracking which was another great experience that thrilled us very much. Our tour also took us to Lake Mburo National Park where we did another boat ride in the beautiful lake full of hippos, crocs and water birds.
The accommodations were all very nice with great food and service however our favourite was Pumba Safari Lodge for the amazing location with great views and excellent service.
Thank you Devine African Safaris for making our dream of an amazing African safari come true

Amazing Expereinces in Rwanda and Uganda
5/5

The last 2 weeks have been amazing as we explored Rwanda and Uganda with Devine African Safaris. Nicholas was great when we were putting together the itinerary with his experience and insight as a tour operator for many years. He arranged the logistics making bookings for accommodations, parking fees and permits, organized reliable and timely transport and also gave us Hebert a wonderful driver guide during the safari.
We had an awesome experience in Rwanda touring Akagera by boat, day and night game drives and Genocide Museum. In Uganda we had a whole day tracking gorillas in Bwindi then visited Queen Elizabeth, Kibale, Murchison and Kidepo parks where Nicholas had arranged for various activities.
In general the whole trip is 5 stars because of the wonderful service that we got from Devine and the partner lodges that we were booked into.

Great Company With Fantastic Service
5/5

My friend Mary and I did the 5 days Ugandan Safari with Devine African Safaris. We found Boaz waiting for us at Entebbe Airport, he was to be our great guide during the tour, he is not only experreinced but also great company to be with on tour. Some of the nice highlights include a stop at the Equator point where we took nice pics before proceeding to Queen Elizabeth National park where we saw lions, elephants, zebras and giraffes at Kaisenyi Plains. In the afternoon did a boat safari in Kazinga channel and saw hippos, strange water birds and many other animals on the banks of the channel. Another great experience was tracking chimps at Kyambura. These primates are habituated and were not alarmed when we got close to them. There were other different monkeys in this place.
Lake Mburo Park was also very nice where we did a boat trip and got close to crocs and many water birds and animals.
We had an amazing time in Uganda and I highly recommend Devine African Safaris

Gorilla Trekking and Kigali Peace Marathon
5/5

I am in Dubai waiting for my connecting flight back home after doing the Gorillas Trekking in Bwindi and later participating in the Kigali Peace Marathon which was absolutely awesome.
We arrived in Kigali Rwanda On Wednesday afternoon where Nicholas had booked us in Lemigo hotel. On the following day after breakfast Boaz our guide took us to the Sombre Genocide Museum which is a very touching place. Afterwards he drove us towards the Rwanda Uganda border which we crossed in the afternoon to Uganda. The drive was smooth and nice through the scenic undulating green hills. We reached Bakiga Lodge late in the afternoon and it was a nice cosy place set in the edges of the forest.
After breakfast we had the most remarkable experience trekking after the moutain gorillas in the dense forest. We trekked up the forest for almost 2 hours and then the encountered a family of these amazing creatures. We stayed with them for about 2 hours just watching them go about their business!
Later in the afternoon we drove to Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort a beautiful lodge on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi
On Saturday we drove back to Kigali in preparation for the the marathon. We took part in the Peace Marathon which was well organized around the beautiful clean city and it was an amazing run.
We stopped over for 2 days in Nairobi Kenya to visit my brother and thank you Nicholas for advising us to get the East Africa Common Visa which allowed us free movement through Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya.
This has been a very fulfilling experience which Devine African Safaris organized perfectly and I have full confidence and recommend them to all.

Great Ugandan Safari to Kibale, Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi
5/5

I came to Uganda as a volunteer for a NGO project in Kampla and met Nicholas through my friends who had come on Safari with his company. He organized a nice itinerary where I got to experience the best of Uganda's parks and wildlife. I We had Boaz as our guide and he proved to be a very knowledgeable and experienced guide. He took us to Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi National Park. The parks offered good variety where we enjoyed different experiences in each. We got to see Chimpanzees, went on a boat ride a long Kazinga Channel and thn had a remarkable experience tracking mountain gorillas in Bwindi forest.
Overall I rate the trip highly because we had very good experiences full of animal sighting in the parks, accommodations were top class, the vehicle was comfortable and the guide amazing.
Very good and professional company and I recommend them.

Awesome Time - Gorillas Trekking in Uganda and Rwanda Wildlife
5/5

My brother and I had an awesome time trekking for gorillas in Bwindi Uganda and the doing a mix of cultural and wildlife tour in Rwanda. Nicholas helped us in creating our wonderful 6 day itinerary and had great input. For instance the Gorillas permits are cheaper in Uganda. Boaz our guide was outstanding, he took personal responsibility to make our trip fantastic coupled with his easy going nature made the trip extra special. Our tour started in Rwanda where we had a moving visit to the Genocide Memorial, Akagera where we had a great game drive seeing elephant herds, different types of birds, zebras, antelopes and other game, crossed to Uganda spent an amazing day trekking in Bwindi forest in search of the mountain gorillas. When our trackers led us us to the Gorillas high up in the forest, it was an experience second to none. On our ay back to Rwanda we stopped over for an amazing cultural visit in a village (I cannot recall the name) where we had more visits to scenic spots by the twin lakes. My brother are in agreement that this was the best tour experience we've had in a long time.
We fully recommend Devine African Safaris for Rwanda and Uganda tours.

Chimps and Gorillas Tracking in Uganda
5/5

We wanted to see the famous great apes of Uganda and Devine African Safaris made this come true. This trip was part of our honeymoon tour and we are so happy that we came to Uganda with this company. The arrangements were perfect and flattering! We found fresh roses and a bottle of wine in the 3 lodges that we slept in! Our guide made us comfortable and took care of all our needs. In addition to the Gorillas and Chimps there were so many other animals to see.
We had an amazing time in Uganda and we were pampered by Devine!
We recommend Devine 101%

Fun and Adventure in Uganda
5/5

Our guide Herbert made all the difference during our 3 days safaris in Uganda. He picked my colleague and I from our hotel in Kampala after our breakfast Fort Portal Mpanga Tea Estate where we spent the day hiking to the Fort Portal Crater Lake. We spent our night at the rustic Kibale Forest camp where the following day had another wonderful day trekking in Kibale forest after Chimpanzees in the morning. Later in the afternoon we drove towards Queen Elizabeth Park. This Park has many different species of animals and we even had a boat ride in the channel full of hippos!
All through the trip, Herbert was patient, careful and attentive to all our needs. The company had made good arrangements so that we were not rushed through and had ample time to savour the beautiful surroundings before heading back to our hotel in Kigali to wrap up our assignment.

Rwanda Safari and Gorillas
5/5

My recent visit to Rwanda with my friend John for safari and gorilla trekking with Devine African Safaris was wonderful trip that I will remember for many years to come. Nicholas was our contact person and he was so professional, prompt responses to emails, flexible and created an itinerary that suited our budget and places that we wanted to visit. Boaz was a perfect guide during the trip, he is very experienced and an excellent guide; right driving skills and great at spotting game- lions, elephants, zebras, waterbuck, hippos, giraffe, buffalo and eland. I loved trekking up mountain to the Gorillas. The elevation was steep but our reward of spending time with a family of mountain gorillas was worth the effort. After the safari we had a free day in Kigali and where Nicholas organized for Boaz to take us to the Genocide Musuem and lunch at a local restaurant serving African dishes. We enjoyed our time in Rwanda and we thank you Boaz and Nicholas for being excellent hosts.

Akagera Park Tour
5/5

We went on a 2 day Akagera Park tour with Boaz and had the time of our life. I came to visit my daughter who was volunteering for OAF in Rwanda and she arranged the Safari with Nicholas of Devine African Safaris on very short notice.
Boaz picked us from her residence in Kigali, drove us to Akagera as we enjoyed the rolling hills covered in green vegetation. A fantastic guide and great company to be around. In the safari we saw elephants, monkeys, zebras, lions, kudu, dikdik, tortoises, giraffes and hippos. The vehicle was comfortable and spacious as there was only the 2 of us. I am nostalgic when I remember the fond memories we shared with my daughter in Rwanda.
I will be going back to Rwanda or Uganda in December for a Gorilla Trek with Devine African Safaris
