Stressful experience
In the beginning the communication was very good. But on asking for confirmation of hotel packages as agreed, there were mistakes. Then again mistakes in the invoicing. I had to correct them. Then wrong dates & information on vouchers sent. Which I had to request correct on. Had to chase them to confirm bookings with other suppliers of our trip that they were handling. All payments were supposed to be in USD. But it changed & half the payments were then requested in ZAR. Paid our deposits & then after our final payments, the company stopped communications. Even after many phone calls & emails, requesting information & corrections, still nothing! Two weeks before the trip we had not received any confirmations or information from them for our South African part of the trip. A week before leaving, I had to contact ALL the suppliers directly for confirmations, addresses & departure information . Extremely stressful not knowing if everthing had been pre paid or even booked, when we boarded our flights from London to South Africa. A total shambles!!

Watch out
We booked and paid for a mid-level ensuited tented safari with Jibha last year. What we got was a budget safari with no ensuited tents. Patrick acknowledged that what we got was not of the standard we’d paid for and agreed that we should receive a refund. Despite many attempts to contact him he has conveniently disappeared and we have received no refund. I would just warn anyone considering booking a safari with Jibha.

Posted on Jan 29, 2026Dear Steve,
Thank you for the feedback. However, it is not a true reflection of events. Your tour was booked pre covid and when covid hit, you postponed your safari. After covid the company you booked with (Moji.com) had closed and did not open after covid. You engaged us directly and despite the deposits you made to Moji.com never reaching us we agreed to adjust the rates and run the tour. I believe the tour went very well as per your feedback when you arrived in Victoria Falls. It was only in Victoria Falls on the last day of your 9 day safari through Botswana that you advised the toilets were not attached to your tent and this had caused discomfort as some among your group were scared to use the toilets particularly in the evening. You did however advise that we should not focus much on this. I advised that we were yet to pay the balance to the Botswana guides who provided and set up the tents and you advised that we should hold on to this balance payment until we resolve this issue you had raised. When you reached South Africa you then wrote an email indicating that because the toilet was not attached to the tents, you needed a refund as this meant the tour you had done was budget due to this one issue. When I engaged the Botswana guide they indicated you did not mention anything at the start of the tour or at any point during the tour and this made me suspect you had deliberately kept quite only to claim a refund. Despite this we engaged and agreed to refund. You went on to post false information which were not a true reflection of events and I made it clear that the only way we could refund was if the Botswana guide agrees. He agreed and we all agreed that you would take down your false narrative of events. However, even after agreeing you still went on to post on Facebook and Trip Advisor. This was after third party intervention and it became clear that this was a deliberate attempt to claim a refund.
