The best tour operator ever!

It was a great journey, we had a two-days safari from Arusha to Tarangire and to Kili. Our guide showed us beautiful african wildlife and traditions an customs of native people. Everything was just perfect, so I recommend to choose this company for your trip to Tanzania.

Great guide, great part: great safari.

My partner and I are very happy about our safari day at Lake Manyara.
Our guide Cosmas was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He was good at understanding the way we wanted to experience the safari (not too much rushing - taking our time to take it all in, both the area and the animals), and gave enough explanations without overdoing it. He was incredibly good at spotting difficult-to-spot animals, which is a bonus at Lake Manyara because large parts of the park are tightly vegetated.
All in all a wonderful experience, thanks to Cosmas and the Kili Serengeti organisation.

On a sidenote: we really appreciated the organisation allowing us to just pay the 40 dollars prepayment with the rest of the payment at the start of the safari, as it would have been very expensive for us to get that money across from home (Belgium).

It was a great experience. Always felt safe. We were able to see the Big Five! Spent a couple of nights inside the Serengeti at a Glamping site. The tent, food, service, staff and the whole ambiance was amazing!!!
Out guide Mike has 20 years experience and it shows. A living enciclopedia!

Great experience with the most kindest people

My girlfriend and I decided to go on safari in Tanzania and selected Kili Serengeti Guides as our tour operator. We were very happy we have chosen this operator, because we had a wonderful time. We chose Kili Serengeti Guides because the price of the safari is fair and the tour takes you to several beautiful locations. We took 3-day safari to Tarangire national park, Ngorongoro crater and Manyara Lake.

Emma from Kili Serengeti Guides, who is very kind and responds to all your e-mails very quick, gives you a real trustful feeling. A few days prior to our arrival in Arusha, we contacted Emman again to ensure we he was on the airport upon arrival. When we arrived Emman and our tour guide Mike, who is one of the kindest and knowledgeable guy I've ever met, were already waiting for us. You will definitely enjoy your time with him, because he really completes your safari.
First, they take you to a hostel in Arusha, which is pretty good for African standards, where you stay for one night. This is also the place where you make the last payment of your safari tour (we wired roughly 20% as down payment, the rest we payed cash). The rooms are ok. Although the bed and pillow were both pretty hard and the mosquito net kind of dirty in one spot, we had a good time. It’s a nice quiet place and the people are very kind and the breakfast is nice.

The fist day of the safari we went straight to Tarangire national park. A very nice place were you can spot much wildlife. Mike can tell you all about it!! After spending several hours in the park, we went to our camp. This camp is located on a mountain, with a very beautiful view over a great plain and the Manyara Lake. When you return at the camp after the safari, you'll have about 1 - 1,5 hour to relax before getting your dinner. If you'll need more time, that's not a problem. Your personal cook will make your delicious dinner whenever you want. The dinner is served in the main areas of the camp, where other people who are on a safari eat as well. After dinner some locals are preforming a small show where they dance and do all kind of crazy tricks. I'll advice you to go to bed early, because the night can get loud because of the barking dogs who drive away the hyena's getting close to the camp. Also it's nice to wake up early and see the sun rise. A very beautiful view over the plain and lake. After breakfast you can relax or make yourself ready for the safari, which normally starts at around 08:00, but hey "Polle Polle" (which means "relax"), if you'll need more time that's never a problem. The second day we went to Ngorongoro crater, where we also went to a Masai Village. After getting approval of the head of the village to enter and payed $50, we got a warm welcome of several member of the community. They sing and dance for you and they'll show you their houses and where they go to school. After this trip you'll enter the Ngorongoro crater, which is really one of the most beautiful places. Here you can spot, if you're lucky, the big 5. The cycle repeats itself when you return to the camp.

In summary, we had a great time with Kili Serengeti Guides and definitely recommend this operator for your safari. Don't expect much luxury, but the experience is great, the food is good and the people are super friendly and very knowledgeable. Thanks Emman, and especially Mike, for our wonderful time with you in the wild of Tanzania. maybe our pats will cross again.

very professional and transparent company
5/5

We experienced throughout our whole trip to Mount Meru a very professional service. The manager Emman answered within very short time to our request even if it was very last minute, we were picked up at the Airport, transferred to our hotel and received a professional pre-tour briefing. Also during the trip, our experience was very positive. Our guide Geoffrey and the whole crew delivered outstanding service. Even during the short drive within Arusha National Park, we learned more from our driver Mike about wildlife than in several days safari in another country.
After the trek, Emman offered in a very transparent way for a private safari. Unfortunately, the private option was above our budget (but still not expensive for a private trip). We would have loved to go on Safari with the crew from Kili Serengeti Holidays because we are convinced about their crew and their service.

Highly recommended!!
5/5

I did two days of private safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro and I was very satisfied. I saw all the big five but the leopard. Mike who is my guide was quick in getting in finding the animals and a good spot for viewing. Trust me, it gets so crowded and because most of us are doing this probaly once in our lifetime, you wanna have the best vantage view point- Mike is good in finding those spots. Another thing that I want to mention is how they had treated me as a member of their family. I had issues with my Kilimanjaro climb operator and they went above and beyond to help me. They drove me from Arusha to Moshi (about 2.5 hours) and helped me find a hotel. They also stayed with me until the Kili operator whom I booked my climb came. To me, that is a good value you should be looking when choosing for a tour guide- one that really takes care of it's client. I highly recommend them!!!
