Amazing Solo Climb
As a solo traveler, I was looking for a company offering a group Kilimanjaro Climb and contacted a few companies from Moshi. Most were quite expensive and not clear on the exact timings and costs, however Lazaro of Kilimanjaro Wonders Expeditions Safari came through. He answered to my email correspondence and gave me 2 option that coincided with my dates in Tanzania. The 2 quotations were also fair cost-wise and within my budget.
The actual trek was very smooth. From the moment I arrived in Moshi from Nairobi to the day I left after the climb I felt that I was in good hands. I had Goodluck as my guide and he is very a decent person in addition to being an expert guide. With his help and motivation I successfully summitted Kilimanjaro.
This company takes the clients health very seriously and we had daily checks in the morning and evening.
The food was fantastic and I have to commend the cook for making delicious meals and hearty breakfasts every day.
I will never forget my experience on Kilimanjaro with this great team from Kilimanjaro Wonders Expedition Safari. Thank you Lazaro and Goodluck!
I recommend you fully!

Another Fantastic Experience with Kwesa
This was second tour with Kwesa and that must count for something. Lazaro and his whole team are just amazing. We love that the company contributes part of the safari revenue to support the Kilimanjaro Orphanage Center where we also sponsor two lovely kids. This time we wanted to explore more of the Serengeti, visit Arusha National Park that we had not been to in the last trip and also spend some time with the kids at the orphanage.
Our flight arrived late in the night and we were driven to the tranquil Kili Cottages where we relaxed for the night and then taken to the airport for our small plane flight to Kogatende in Northern Serengeti. We found our guide Shabaan waiting for us and the adventure began. He drove us to special places where were away from any other crowds and yet we found plenty of game. This was the special African safari that we looking for! The endless vast grasslands of the Serengeti are still etched in my mind where animals were bountiful!
We flew back to Arusha after 4 magical days of exploring different parts of Serengeti and had a lovely day trip in Arusha National Park and then headed to Moshi in the evening. We got to spend time with our 2 sponsored kids on the last day before our flight and this was very fulfilling.
Thank you Lazaro and your team for the wonderful work you are doing. For those that want to leave a positive mark in the community then Kwesa is the company for you!

Fantaqstic Trip to Tanzania
The Tanzania trip we just came back from has been one of the best Safaris we have undertaken in Africa as a family; perfect itinerary, excellent service, wide range of amazing attractions and just what we were looking for when we decided to visit Tanzania. We went to Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Tarangire National Parks. Lazaro is great in organizing and scheduling as everything went smoothly and efficiently. He allocated us Shabani as our guide and he made our tour complete. He knew the parks very well and took us to the areas where we found animals. He taught us how to be patient and wait for the perfect shot. He shared his wide knowledge of Tanzania including local tribes with us. Our lodges were comfortable and served excellent food.
We are happy that we chose KWESA tours because they have given us an awesome time. They come highly recommended.

Amazing 4 day Safari
We had the most amazing time on our 4 day safari on our safari to Tanzania with Kilimanjaro Wonders Expedition Safari. We had Shaban as our fantastic guide and he really made a huge difference in our tour. He drove so well in the parks taking us to nice spots where we saw so many animals, knew all the nice places to view the wildlife, was conversant in the local landscape and ven acted as our interpreter with Maasai tribesmen during our cultural visit to a Maasai homestead.
Our itinerary was well planned and took us to 3 parks starting with Lake Manyara in the rift valley which is spectacular, then we visited Ngorongoro Crater which wowed us. The Maasai live in the same space in harmony with the animals. Our last park was Serengeti where we even had a balloon ride and this park is just beautiful. It was sad to leave Tanzania after such a wonderful time with KWESA.
We will be back sometime

Scenic Machame Climb
We just came back from doing the scenic Machame route with KWESA and could not have chosen a better company to get me to the summit.
The whole experience was so professionally executed by experts and who have been in this business for a considerable amount of time as they understand everything and the plans fit into one another so well. Our guides Lazaro and Eddy took the best care of us leaving nothing to chance. We had regular oxygen level checks, amazingly delicious hot food freshly prepared by our cook on the mountain and beautiful narration about the beautiful scenery, rocks and habitat at the different levels of the mountain.
The whole crew was impressive during our trek, the porters would go before us and set camp everyday and we would find hot tea waiting for us when we arrived in camp.
I especially indebted to Lazaro who encouraged and motivated me on the summit night and got me to Uhuru peak. Without him I most definitely would not have made it.
I had the most amazing time on this climb and want to assure those that plan to climb Kili that they should contact KWESA and they will be with the professional climbing crew

Fabulous Tanzania Safari
My family of 5 went on a 7 day classic Tanzania Safaris with KWESA tours and it was simply amazing. Teacher was our excellent guide who made our trip extra special with the excellent company coupled with many years experience thus knowing all the special spots for watching wildlife without being disturbed or spooking the animals. Our vehicle was in excellent condition and despite the recent rains it handled very well in the parks.
We saw lots of animals in the wild including the elusive wild dogs in Tarangire and endangered Rhinos in Ngorongoro this is in addition to numerous elephants, lions, wildebeest, zebras, cheetahs, hyenas and many different birds.
The accommodations that they selected for us were luxury and yet we paid for midr-range. Some like Kubu kubu and Kitela had a swimming pool where we relaxed aftre a day of driving in the wild.
I thank KWESA for putting together such a wonderful itinerary and charging us a very reasonable price.

Wonderful memories of Tanzania southern parks
We had another great trip with KWESA in the south. This time we opted to go Selous, Mikumi and Ruaha Parks as we had done the northern parks last year. Our driver picked us from Dar and drove us south to Selous. We enjoyed the diversity of this park a lot. Water animals like hippos, water birds and we even saw elephants wading in water from our boat. We then went to Mikumi which is also full of wild game, lots of buffaloes and hippos at an artificial pond. Ruaha is surely different, with huge baobab trees and different habitat. We went along the river Ruaha and there was so much game including huge lion prides with almost 20 members and they had captured a giraffe. The sights were just amazing.
KWESA is a great company, they employ only the experienced and outstanding guides who enrich the tours. Their vehicles are well serviced and in great condition and even have a fridge, electric charging points and WIFI. I have used them twice and I will continue using them.

Awesome and Byond Expectations
Awesome experience thanks to the wonderful arrangements made by Teacher and amazing guiding by Shaban. Everything went smoothly from the timely pickup from airport, transfers, game drives and cultural exchange visits.
Our itinerary took us to Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Arusha National Parks. We also visited the Hadzabe Bushmen and a Maasai boma. The whole experience from watching wildlife in close proximity, learning about the different communities and different ways of life are nice memories that I will not forget in a hurry.
We think that this is one of the best safari companies in Tanzania today and recommend them to everyone.

Awesome Trip
The 3 days trip to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara in Tanzania was awesome. Our driver Goodluck was incredible. He is very experienced and guided us to the best spots to view game. He was flexible and even organized for an impromptu visit to Masai community for cultural exchange and roasted goat lunch on the last day. The itinerary was well planned and that we moved from one park to the next in succession with our hotels located close to the parks.
I will give 5 stars for great work from KWESA company.
They are worth every accolade

Best Trek Ever
We had an a wonderful time with KWESA when we did Kilimanjaro recently. Booking and payment with KWESA was not complicated. Communication before the trip was promptly answered conclusively.
This company is very professional and took care of my wife and son to the summit and back with John as the chief guide, assisted by Alex. There were nine porters and a cook. The Trek to the summit is not for the faint hearted. It takes a lot of energy to get the summit and we would not have made it without our guides. They took care of all aspects of our climb providing us with great advice, good food, comfortable sleeping quarters. Mandatory health checks for oxygen levels in the morning and evening.
Kilimanjaro is no longer a thought but finally conquered. A big thank you to KWESA for the excellent experience.
