Operator cancelled trip one day before departure date!
I rested with my family on Zanzibar and we decided to go on a four-day safari in Tanzania.
Through the www.safaribookings.com I found several companies that do safaris in the Tarangire / Ngorongoro / Serengeti.
I made a request, more firms answered me.
Among them was the company Twinkle Star Tours and Safaris.
They gave me the best price and a perfect program, we agreed everything to the smallest detail.
To save money, I decided to buy tickets by local airlines from Zanzibar to Kilimanjaro myself.
When I bought the tickets, agreed with Twinkle Star on the dates and times of transfer, right on the day before of our departure from Zanzibar, Twinkle Star said that he could not conduct a safari, but his acquaintance from the company Inno African Safari would hold it.
He gave me the contact of this other company and no longer answered my questions in the WatsApp.
I contacted this new company and he set me the price exactly twice as high as we agreed with Twinkle Star.
And this is the day before the start of the safari!
It was good that I had contacts and agreements with other companies and we quickly agreed on a safari with another company.
I warn all people on the www.safaribookings.com, do not mess with the company Twinkle Star Tours and Safaris.

Great Budget Safari with Minor Hiccup
I recently did the 4-Day Tanzanian Safari. The tour was organized by Twinkle Star but subcontracted to Inno Africa Safari. There was a little issue with my arrival and a driver not being at the airport but this was quickly remedied with a message to Mr. Oketch.
The safari itself was great with a very nice driver and accomplished chef. We were able to see all of the big 5, though the rhinos we're very far away.
As a solo traveler, I was able to join with other solo travelers and make some friends during the safari.
The accommodations were better than expected for a budget safari and overall I had a great time. I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends and family.

Excellent! Amazing! Great tour company for the price!
I just got back from the 4-day Tanzania Safari. It was spectacular! I was lucky enough to see all Big 5 wild animals. Our tour driver was Alibaba. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the animals. He answered all of our questions. James does a great job with the company. I was able to contact and talk with him directly. He answered all of my questions very well.
Thank you!

Safari was successfully
James Oketch Director of Twinkle Stars was very caring and attentive to our questions and wishes. Believing us without prepayment, organized the entire tour. Provided the most experienced guide. We had the best guide by name Jackson. He was able to choose the most successful places to view and Photo among other guides. Thanks to him we have seen all the big five on several times. He always arrived on time and we were afraid to be late. Our 4 days Safari tour consisted of trips to the Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and the surrounding area Lake Nakuru. The only recommendation this update fleet on the safari vans with 4WD, but it is not problem to Twinkle stars, and problem owners safari vans

Good and polite operator
Fine tents with beds and own bathroom.
Good local food and polite staff.
Good safaribus with a fast driver - which resulted in the big 5.
Good budget safari

Perfect budget-safari
For a budget traveller, this is a great option!
Communication is easy, and everything is smooth.
We got a pick up in the airport to our hotel, and then another pick up the next morning to the safari-bus and then we got a ride to our airBnB in Nairobi when the safari ended.
All went according to plan.
There's a ration of water (1 bottle per person per day), but you can buy beverage at lunch and at the tent camp.
It's a good idea to bring snacks. The food provided is mostly local and delicious.
The safari drives were really amazing. And Stanley, our guide, made a great effort in finding all the cool animals.
Don't expect beautiful and luxurious accommodations. It's a cheap tour for people on a budget.
But expect a FIVE STAR adventure with amazing safari drives in the park and great service from the people!

welcome to the jungle
The safari itself has been fantastic. Good food, good driver/guide (Emmanuel), accomodation in tent as expected. We passed a very good time with the animals and the wild saving a lot of money. We only have had 2 misunderstanding with the hotel for the 1 night accomodation and for the way back to the airport, so we suggest to be preparated and maybe to organize yourself to save money and to avoid surprises. We suggest Twinkle star tour for your tanzanian trip.

Two exciting and delightful days in Kenia
I would fully recommend you taking this tour operator, because it was a beautiful trip!
The communication with the driver was very good, there weren't any problems. We had a nice time together.
One day we went to Mount Longonott, the other to Crescent Island at Lake Naivasha. It was a very interesting experience. We saw giraffes, zebras, wilder beasts, gazelles and many more animals on Crescent Island. Totally would go there again and book the same driver/ company.

Great tour, lots of impressive animals, unorganized schedule
We booked a 4-days tour through Masai Mara NP, Lake Naivasha with boat ride and Nakuro NP with 2 nights speeping in a tented camp and on night in a hotel.
lots of animals
great driver
unorganized scheduling
acceptable accomodations
respectful treatment of animals
It was a gorgeous journey and our driver, James, was one of the highlights beside the impressive animals! We saw nearly everything we dreamed of, elephants, lions, a cheetah, rhinos, different types of giraffes, a lot of different beautiful birds, hippos, monkeys, buffalos, antilopes... only the leopard we missed, but James gave his very best. We saw the most animals incredibly near, for example lions or giraffes with a distance of less than 5m or rhinos with less than 10m. But it never seemed to injure the animals freedom.
It was just a pitty, that we needed to discuss with different people so often about what be booked, what was included and how the plan for the tour was. For example we didn‘t have a walking/cycling tour, we didn‘t get 3l water per person per day but 1l instead, we didn‘t visit the Hells gate NP, we didn‘t see the promised baby elephant in an extra area, we didn‘t visit the giraffe center.
All in all, the tour was quite different than described. The tour was described very detailed with certain timeslots and in a specific order, but nothing matched to that schedule, which does actually not matter, but nobody told us so. So we expected for example to drive to the lake Naivasha, but arrived at the Masai Mara NP and wondered if we took the wrong tour bus by accident...
The booked accomodations were acceptable, espacially for the price we paid, ~400 US $ per person. The first one at the Masai Mara NP was a tented camp with a nice areal and quite delicious food. The second one at Nakuro NP was in the Hotel Citynax with very friendly personal. But in both accomodations it lasted ~20 mins until we get warm water in the shower. While the water in the hotel just got semi warm to still too cold ~20 celsius degrees. This hotel also didn‘t have the promised standard as descibed with „Gilden Palace Hotel or similar“.
Nevertheless it was a great experience and I would book another tour with your company again.
