Outstanding Safari Tour Agency
My girlfriend and I wanted to go on Safari this year. We spent a part of the summer looking for a good package and came across Twinkle Star Tours & Safaris. We read their reviews and saw their package options and found the one that best fit our budget. Other than the financials, we were pretty much hands off, as Twinkle Star took care of everything for us. Even when our initial choice of Safari Accommodation fell through, they helped us find another one in our budget and with the same level of luxury. Our overall experience from beginning to end, was nothing less than excellent.

Toured with Twinkle Star during October 2023. Six days, three hotels, one driver/guide. Each hotel was very different as were the sites. Each day was very special. Accommodation ranged from very good to the nicest hotel ever. George knows the parks and the animals. He knows where they are and where they are going. (He is the Wayne Gretzky of tour guides.) James had great planning suggestions and was also open to questions and changes; very easy to work with. Pricing was good too! I would use Twinkle Star/James again and would ask for George as my guide.

A travel agency that won't let you down.
Twinkle Star is a very professional travel agency. In the early stage of communication, they provided professional opinions and the most favorable prices. They responded promptly and emphasized the spirit of the contract. Manager James will personally pick up and drop off at the airport, giving instructions on precautions. Our dedicated Guide (John) is very professional with 27 years of Safari experience. He can predict the path of animals in advance, understand their habits, and is also a very enthusiastic and interesting. He has many interesting experiences, is passionate about his work, and has a good service attitude, giving us a great Safari experience. In short, Twinkle Star is definitely the best choice for you to travel to Kenya, with extremely high cost performance. I will recommend them to every friend who comes to ask for my opinion.

An unforgettable Safari trip in Africa!
I was very happy to choose Twinkle star after comparing many tourist companys and James arranged a fantastic 10-days safari trip for us. And booked the hotel according to our requirements. I would like to commend our driver Robbert, who is a very good driver and professional guide. On the premise of ensuring our safety, he does not disturb the animals and respects and loves every animal. I think this is an advantage that many travel agency guides do not have at present. I'd like to give Robbert a five star praise！
Standing on the vast plains, watching elephants, giraffes, and zebras grazing peacefully, I felt the primal beauty of nature. As the sunset, overlooking the lions hunting on the plains from the cliff edge, I developed a deeper respect for the cycle of life and the power of nature. This trip was not just about observing wildlife and scenic beauty,it was a spiritual adventure and a growth journey. It taught me to cherish every moment filled with surprises and joy.
I feel that time has passed very fast, looking forward to the next trip to Africa!

My best friend and I went on a 17 day Safari trip through Kenya and Tanzania with Twinkle Star Tours. James, the company's Director, and our two guides, David and Jose (David on the Kenya side, Jose on the Tanzania side) were absolutely delightful! In those 17 days we really felt like we became family.
David and Jose were extremely attentive to our needs, considerate, and highly knowledgeable of the flora and fauna we saw, which enhanced our experience ten-fold.
We would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking to do a Safari in East Africa.

Best tour operator in all of Kenya and Tanzania
Twinkle Star is, without a doubt, the best tour operator in all of Kenya and Tanzania. We booked a custom 3-week itinerary, and James, the Director, worked tirelessly with us to get our specifications exactly as we wished, even changing the itinerary 3 times throughout the trip.
Something to keep in mind is that there are basically three main components of a quality safari:
- The lodging
- The guide
- The logistics (itinerary, vehicle, etc)
#1, lodging, is mainly price-driven. We were fortunate to stay in luxury accommodations the entire time.
#2 (the guide) and #3 (logistics) are entirely owned by the tour company. Here, Twinkle Star shines above all else.
#2 - GUIDE
Our guide on the Kenyan side, David, was a sweet, patient, incredibly knowledgeable man who went above and beyond to give us delightful experiences.
Our guide on the Tanzanian side, Jose, was energetic, friendly, funny, and also incredible knowledgeable. He made our trip wonderful.
Both of these men were the best guides I met throughout the safari.
Additionally, the Director, James, is the kindest and most helpful man in the world. I cannot say this enough! He kept in close contact with us throughout the safari, always asking how he can help, and even giving us generous gifts.
#3 - LOGISTICS
In the logistics, Twinkle Star also shined brightest of all. The entire process was smooth - from incredible safari vehicles, to great meals, smooth transportation, easy check in and safari bookings. Everything was perfect.
I seriously cannot recommend Twinkle Star enough. Our experience with them was lifechanging. They are leagues above other tour operators.

Always at the service and very efficient
I live in Kenya and it’s the second time that I recommend Twinkle Star Tours & Operators to my visiting friends for their 12 days safari. We had great experience with Twinkle Star Tour
We booked the 12-days tour with James (Twinkle Star Tours). We were a group of 12 people with 4 vehicles. James greeted us in the morning at the hotel where we stayed overnight. Our drivers also picked us up from there after the the greeting. Drivers were on time every day. The transfers from Kenya to Tanzania and back went smoothly. The experiences in both countries were great. Twinkle Star Tours exceeded our expectations, highly recommend Twinkle Star Tours for next booking. James also came to the airport at the end of the trip with his two daughters with some farewell gifts for everyone. Thanks for your attention to details in planning, James!

Amazing safari experience
I had the most wonderful safari experience with Twinkle star tour thanks to the experienced guide Thomas (if i'm not mistaken), who didn't manage any effort to allow to see all the animals (including the big 5), and also all the valuable information he shared with me on each and every single animal we crossed!
