Amazing day trip in Kenya
5/5

I spent just 12 hours in Kenya and Joel & Collin made my trip comfortable and memorable!
Joel was very responsive and willing to accommodate my many many queries and request to modify my tour.
Collin is a great guide as well as friendly and knowledgeable. Collin made sure we found the elusive rhinos that I wanted see on my safari.
I highly recommend Mufasa tours when you get to Kenya.

Amazing experience!
5/5

An amazing experience in Maasai Mara. I did a quick overnight between work meetings. We saw giraffes, zebras, lions and their cubs, warthogs, cheetahs, buffalos, hyenas, ostriches, gazelle, antelope and so many different birds (plus more - we saw so much). The most memorable part was when my guide, Collin, spotted a large herd of elephants in the distance. The elephants let us drive right into the middle of the herd and gently walked around us. We were close enough I could smell the grass as they are! Collin did a wonderful job of not only finding animals but also in communicating plans, setting me up for photos — whether that be a sunset or a lion eating prey, why he was taking certain routes, when he needed to speed up and slow down and why, and timekeeping to ensure we made it back in time for meals. He was easy to communicate with and wanted to ensure I had the experience I wanted.

Knowledgable & fun!
5/5

We did a three day safari tour in Masai Mara, and had such a fun time. Our tour guide kindly and thoroughly answered our incessant questions about everything. They were also an excellent driver, which is always a plus when you have to drive through bumpy, muddy terrains. Would recommend.

Very reliable and professional touroperator/guide
5/5

Our first-ever safari trip was such a great succes and so very memorable, both for us as for our 2 young kids (6y & 8y) thanks to the good care of Mufasa Tours and Travels, with special thanks to Kephar. We did a 4-day safari at Maasai Mara and Lake Naivasha, which was well prepared in advance by Joel and all done as promised. Planning and rates were very clear and detailed. Kephar, our guide, was most friendly and always in a good mood. He's a very responsible and skilled driver who shared with us lots of funny and interesting facts about the animals we saw in the Maasai Mara. He showed us as much as possible of this amazing place with its magnificent animals, so that we could make the most beautiful pictures and memories.
The accomodations where we stayed (Enkorok Mara and Country club at Lake Naivasha) were both perfect. Clean, good food and very nice staff.
Without any doubt, i'll recommend my friends, family and everyone who wants to visit Kenya to book a safari with Mufasa and to ask for Kephar! We can't wait to get back some day as well. Asante sana!

Magnificent, Perfect 11-day Mufasa Safari Adventure in Kenya and Tanzanis
5/5

Mufasa Tours and Travels 11 day safari for two friends was beyond our wildest dreams and imagination – far above the five-star review scale.
We saw all the BIG 5 many times over (lion, lionesses, cubs, White and Black Rhino, Leopards, Elephants and Cape Buffalo). The viewings up close so you could hear the animals breathe and learn their sounds . Starting with our first contact, Joseph sets a detailed travel and game drive itinerary and your five-star accommodations up for a complete success . He matched us with the most remarkable guides – Collin in Kenya who is one of a kind and an absolute expert tracker who knows habitats for the many species and varieties of animals. Horace in Tanzania who was amazing and an incredible navigator of the vast and stunning Serengeti. We visited 5 game parks in two countries: Kenya: Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, and Amboseli (Mt Kilimanjaro), and Tanzania: Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. We saw hundreds of species of animals and birds everyday was a mind-blowing adventure. We saw at least 75 Lions, hundreds of elephants and cape buffalo, over 30 white and black Rhinos and 3 elusive leopards. Our the incredible, amazing, knowledgeable Kenya guide Collin made sure we saw cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas, mongoose, jackals and so many types of Antelopes (GNU, ELAN, IMPALA, GAZELLES an so much more) Collin knew the names of all the amazing birds and made sure we saw flocks of pink flamingos and white pelicans at Lake Nakuru. And as an extra bonus he is a great photographer and set us up with many great picture opportunities with perfect lighting. We crossed over to Tanzania into the expert hands of Horace who navigated us through a Wildebeest Migration for as far as the eye could see in every direction in the Eastern Serengeti, an hour tracking of a hungry leopard, and an amazing lightning display on the savannah. I must mention the welcoming, comfortable, luxurious Mufasa accommodations with delicious food and delightful staff. I highly recommend you only consider Mufasa for any of your safari interests in Africa. We both fell in love with Joseph, his brother John, Collin and Horace. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES OF A LIFETIME

Mufasa Tours. A great choice for guided safari in Kenya!
5/5

We have just returned from an amazing trip to Kenya. From the moment we booked our visit with Mufasa tours. Polly was on hand to answer all of our questions, and to plan our trip in great detail. Our guide Colin was highly experienced and had thoroughly planned time both in the Masai, Mara and at lake Nakuru ensuring that we had a trip filled with wonderful photo opportunities of all of the animals we had hoped to see. His guidance meant that we got close to the big cats, elephants, rhinoceros and many more wonderful animals!
Our holiday started at the Neptune Mara rianta luxury camp where we stayed in an amazing location on the banks of the Mara river. We were surrounded by wildlife and woke each morning to the sound of hippopotamus chatter! The staff at the Neptune were excellent, attending to our every need, and providing great food and service (we even had our laundry done each day thanks to our wonderful butler, Albert). Our second accommodation was The Cliff. Perched high above lake Nakuru, The Cliff offers spectacular views and luxury accommodation.

We would highly recommend Mufasa tours, we hope to visit with them again soon!

A Winner All Around.
5/5

I was satisfied in every way with my experience with Mufasa Tours and especially my guide Nelson.
From our first phone call, which ended with “no worries, now you have a friend in Nairobi” to a great trip to Amboseli and a timely drop off at the airport, everything was perfect.
I hesitated at first because I only had one night and it was a 5 hour drive each way, but I’m so glad I went.
Nelson is a rare human being who finds great satisfaction in making other people smile, and I was clearly a beneficiary.
The drive flew by, filled with insightful conversations about family life, Kenyan culture, animals and more with many laughs along the way.
I met him as a client and left as a friend.
My single night at Kibo lodge was great, with nice people, direct views of Kilimanjaro and a spiffy room.
In the park we saw the big five and much more even during this short visit, and with the recent rains it was looking lush and green again.
We also stopped along the way for a guided visit a Maasai village, which I would also recommend.
Overall a highly memorable experience.
Go for it!

Nothing is too much trouble
5/5

The communication before we even arrived in Kenya was absolutely incredible and Polly helped us overcome a small bump in regards to our initial travel. When we arrived, Charles was there to pick us up and welcomed us warmly. He was very knowledgeable and organised yet still took into account what we wanted to do.
The hotels we stayed at were perfect for what we needed and obviously are well chosen by Mufasa to ensure an outstanding safari experience.
The team went above and beyond to make our trip memorable and we are so glad we chose Mufasa. They were actually recommended to us by a friend and we shall be passing on the recommendation to everyone we know!

Amboseli National Park in march
5/5

The tour was great, I had a wonderful time with my tour guide Nelson. I learned a lot from him about the Kenyan culture as well as about the many animals we saw. The car was a Toyota hiace which was perfect as it basically could go anywhere and was comfortable on the road. The tour was well organized but nevertheless flexible enough to include my personal wishes. The highlight was definitely seeing Mount Kilimanjaro in the morning as well as spotting lots of cats and Elephants. Also the pick-up at my accommodation in Nairobi as well as the drop-off at Nairobi international airport three hours prior to my flight worked perfectly. I would definitely do this tour again although this time I would stay for at least two nights.
