We had an incredible 12-day safari in Kenya with MUFASA Tours and Travels,
and it exceeded all expectations. The itinerary was perfectly planned—diverse, well-paced, and full of breathtaking landscapes and wildlife encounters.
The lodges were excellent: clean, comfortable, and well-located, offering a great place to relax after each adventure.
Our guide Kevin was truly exceptional. His deep knowledge of birds and genuine love for them made the experience especially meaningful for birdwatchers and photographers. He didn’t just know where to find birds—he felt it. Only someone who truly loves birds can understand when to stop, how to look, and how to give space and silence to those who want to capture the moment. Thanks to MUFASA’s professionalism, attention to detail, and personal touch, this was a once-in-a-lifetime journey. We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Mufasa Tours & Travels for our Kenyan safari and beach holiday. Traveling as an extended family of five (three adults and two teenagers), we were looking for a seamless, safe, and memorable adventure—and Mufasa delivered beyond expectations.
From the very beginning, Mary Anne understood our needs and budget perfectly. The entire booking process was smooth and stress-free, all handled via WhatsApp. Communication was prompt, clear, and reassuring throughout.

Every transfer—from airport pickups to hotel and train station drop-offs—was perfectly coordinated and punctual. We were always provided with driver contact details, which gave us peace of mind. Everything ran like clockwork.
🦓 Safari Experience
Our safari guide Steve was exceptional. Professional, well-dressed, and softly spoken, he shared fascinating insights into both wildlife and Kenyan culture. We felt completely safe during game drives and long journeys between parks. Steve’s ability to engage both adults and teens made the experience inclusive and enriching. We truly feel lucky to have had him as our guide.
🏕️ Camps & Lodges
Each accommodation was thoughtfully chosen and exceeded our expectations:
- Zebra Valley Camp (Masai Mara): A standout! Our family villa tent with two rooms was superb, and the staff were incredibly welcoming.
- Sarova Lion Hill (Lake Nakuru), Tulia Amboseli, and Neptune Paradise Beach Resort: All were wonderful. Neptune Paradise especially stood out for wonderful, varied high quality food and friendly staff and lively entertainment team.
💬 Service & Communication
Mary Anne was a joy to work with—responsive, warm, and efficient. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and professional. The entire experience felt personal and well cared for.

My two children and I had the most FANTASTIC experience doing this tour! We stayed in incredible accommodation we had the most wonderful intelligent knowledgeable guide - Ali - he was exceptional!! He always seemed to know where to go to get the best views of all the animals and his knowledge of everything about them and their habitat was incredible.

Kenya with Mufasa – A Trip of a Lifetime
We travelled to Kenya in March as a family of 7, and our 7D6N journey with Mufasa Tours was truly unforgettable. From the moment we were picked up in Nairobi to our adventures across Kilimanjaro, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, and the stunning Masai Mara, everything felt smooth, safe, and incredibly personal—like a home in a foreign land.
A big thank you to Maryanne, who was our point of contact from the very beginning—super responsive and helpful in planning every detail before the trip even began. And our amazing guide Patrick, who went above and beyond every single day to make sure we had the best experience. Thanks to him, we saw all the Big Five and even a cheetah hunt—an absolute dream come true!
We’ve travelled to many countries, but Kenya is now easily one of our favourites. The wildlife, the landscapes, and the warmth of the people made this trip something we’ll never forget.

5 magical days full of unforgettable moments
We had a 5 days safari with 2 amazing friends (that the feeling we had very fast). Maryanne was very helpful putting this trip together. Our guides, both Nelson and Kevin were great, super kind, trying their best to offer us the best experience. Sharing so much stories, facts, moments with a lots of fun! We felt like having a trip with family! After picking us at NBO airport, they took us to Amboseli, a beautiful park with very very nice accommodation in the middle of this great nature. First magical moment happened there with very close proximity with the elephants. Nelson was just amazing. Not giving up until we see them from very close. Our next stop was then Nakuru, where we’ve also seen so much and found ourselves in this beautiful place with rooms on the cliff facing the lake. We felt like royals in the wild. Last stop was Mara Maasai, where we saw so many great animals such as the Lion, the leopard or the Cheetah -> we did it: all the big 5! These last days we also visited Maasai village and enjoyed learning so much about them. Again, both Kevin and Nelson were just on top of it! And it felt like they were also enjoying it with us. Honestly we’ve spent 5 crazy days and left Kenya with our head full of memories and our heart full of gratitude 😊. I could just keep writing to share our feeling about this amazing experience thanks to Mufasa. Thank you so much for sharing those moments with us!

Collin our guide showed us all animals! He’s very funny, telling the stories about animals. My husband talkative person and Collin was the person who committing with him and telling stories, answering to his questions about animals and many many!
