Increible experiencia en Tanzania con Tanzania Horizon
Hello. We made a trekking in the kilimanjaro with Tanzania Horizon between 25th oct to 1st nov. The experience was unforgetable, we reach the Uhru Peack thanks to the gide of Tanzania Horizon and the incredible staff they have (gide, assistant guide, best ever cooker and porters) who made a tough work always with a smile in their faces. They always take care of us and they made us feel save and as a part of a mountain family.
From the begining of the journey they attended us very well, picking up us at the airport to a very good hotel in Moshi where we stayed for two days. They prepare the expedition untill the smollest detail...everything was over our expectations!!. We rented very good mountain material that we haven't.
We are thinking from now the next expedition and without doubt we will make it with Tanzania Horizon and his staff. Hardly recomendable!!. Thanks so much!!

Great Experience!!!
Booking was great, emails were always answered in a very timely manner.
We were picked up from the airport and brought to our hotel which was super nice.
The equipment rentals were very adequate.
Our tour guide was very knowledgable and friendly.
We were fed 3 warm meals a day on the mountain, prepared very well.
I would recommend Tanzania Horizon Safaris to anyone who is looking to hike Mt. Kilimanjaro!!

Epic Adventure with Tanzania Horizon Safari
We were extremely fortunate to see a wide variety of animals – many from a closer distance than I ever thought possible. Much of this success was attributable to the experience of our guide Patrick. He was remarkable at tracking and spotting animals. In addition, he was deeply knowledgeable about both the flora and fauna we encountered. We had a terrific experience.

If you want to see animals without crowds, Mikumi National Park, Tanzania, is the place to go.
Mikumi National Park is a unique experience that puts you directly in touch with nature and its rules. We traveled with Tanzania Horizon Safaris. They were fabulous, everything arranged, so all we had to do was sit back in our 4x4 safari jeep and enjoy the scenery. Our driver and guide, Said picked us up at the hotel at the agreed time (7 AM). The drive from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi took about 6 hours due to traffic upon leaving the city. He was nice and friendly, very well documented and he gave us a lot of information about Tanzania. I can't even describe the incredible beauty and how serene this place is. There was an amazing variety of animals and birds there: wildebeests, impalas, buffalo, impalas, elephant, zebras, lions, giraffe, hippos and even crocodiles. We slept at "Vamos", a brilliant lodge in the buffer zone of Mikumi and I have to say that accommodation was above our expectations. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and even had a balcony. Also, the food was really great. Big thanks to Elizabeth from Tanzania Horizon Safaris who is kind and courteous. She went well beyond our expectations to ensure we had the best time in our safari, for a once in a lifetime experience.
The weather was gorgeous and the overall experience was fantastic, definitely worth a visit!

Great company... great private guide through Mikumi/ Ruaha...
Just recently in early December 2020, I finished a trip through Tanzania Horizon Safaris and I could not have been more pleased. I arranged a 7 days/ 6 nights tour through Southern parks of Mikumi and Ruaha. Everything went perfect.
I am not a first-time safari goer, and have already been to several trips throughout Uganda. Just like Gorillas and Wildlife Safaris for Uganda, Tanzania Horizon Safaris is a class act for Tanzania.
I come from the United States, and I felt totally safe being around in Tanzania. Socially distancing is entirely possible, and almost a given going to the national parks of Tanzania. So please do not let Covid-19 prevent you from coming. In fact, it is probably better coming during this time because there is MUCH less people coming through the airports. It just felt a lot more peaceful, compared to the hectic nature prior to Covid-19.
Elizabeth, the guest relations manager for Tanzania Horizon Safaris, responded quickly with a competitive price for my trip. Another company offered a price that seemed too low and too-good-to-be-true. After further research, it was indeed that way. One should do their research before choosing a company. Tanzania Horizon Safari offered what they promised. A private guide. A well-equipped and functioning 4X4. Game drives during the day, and very good accommodations at night.
Davis, my guide, picked me up at the hotel on Day 1. We drove the Mikumi. Lots of animals there. By the end of Day 2, we saw 4 of the Big 5, with the exception of the rhino, which do not exist in Mikumi. Wildlife population was dense in Mikumi. Despite people saying there is no wilderness appeal in Mukumi, given its proximity to a road, I beg to differ. In a day through the park, I only saw maybe 5 other safari vehicles. Davis was great spotting wildlife, including a leopard in a tree. During the night, I stayed at Camp Bastian. Luxurious, and had strong hot water . Very good food at night.
On Day 4, we drove to Ruaha and I stayed at the Ruaha Hilltop Lodge. It was very remote and far from any civilization. The Lodge had an excellent view and the staff there were amazing. Inside the Ruaha National Park, it was a bit harder to find wildlife, given the trees, but Davis managed to do so. Honestly people would go to Ruaha just to escape life and be in peace. I definitely found that there. That park will remain in my heart for a long time.
I am entirely satisfied with this wonderful company, Elizabeth and Davis. All in all, everything worked out perfect. Good communication with Elizabeth. An easy payment plan (credit cards are accepted, with a small fee) with a very competitive price for a 7 day/ 6 day tour through the Southern parks. Great accommodations. Private guide. Private game drive. No need to go along with a group. Saw a lot of wildlife. I wholeheartedly give my support and props to Tanzania Horizon Safari. Job well done!

Beautiful and perfect 7 days Machame route and 2 days safari trip!
At the end of September 2019 me and my boyfriend started our 7 days trip through Machame route to the Kilimanjaro summit. I have spent many weeks before the trip writing emails to travelling companies in Tanzania, looking for the best deal, for the company we can feel safe with and for the comfortable and beautiful experience. Tanzania Horizon Safaris was definitely the best option we could choose!! We had an amazing group of people with us, our guides Abu and Jackson were very communicative, helpful, always telling us useful information about nature, animals, medical infomation, Tanzania in general. The food was just perfect, our chef was cooking the best soups I have ever had! Rest of our crew was also great, everything in our tent was ready on time and well prepared. I was exhausted and felt terrible on our final way to the top, but our guide Abu helped us to summit Kilimanjaro safely and at perfect time with beautiful views. This was unbelievable experience for us and we could enjoy all this only thanks to people from Tanzania Horizon Safaris. We strongly recommend!
After finishing our Kilimanjaro trip we spent two days in NP Tarangire and Ngorongoro which was also perfectly prepared, our guide/driver has been really helpful with finding animals and giving us a lot of time to watch them, we enjoyed preferably NP Tarangire especially for the amount of elephants and zebras :)
We didnt have any problem in hotels we were staying, communication with company and all services was just perfect! Thank you very much again!

Super Six Night Ruaha and Neyere Safari
My wife and I had arranged a private safari tour of the less visited parks in southern Tanzania with Tanzania Horizon Safari’s. Elizabeth ( the office contact) was easy to work with and always prompt with her responses to my many questions. Our accommodations met or exceeded our expectations in both parks, but what made our trip most memorable was our guide/driver “Davis” who took care of our every need during our trips and always seem to know where to go for the best wildlife viewing. Davis knew both parks like palm of his hand as we were able to cover the majority of both parks during our full day game drives. His knowledge of the animal and bird life could not have been better.

A wonderful and safe experience!
I had a wonderful experience with Tanzania Horizon Safaris on a climb of Kili using the Lemosho Route followed by an incredible experience in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater! My guide Jonas was amazing! He was knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy, expertly guiding me up the mountain and making sure I was feeling well and hydrated all the way up! We had a four day safari that took us to Lake Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro. The safari was amazing and there were so many unforgettable moments. Our safari guide picked us up from the airport in Kilimanjaro and dropped us off when we departed. From the moment we landed, we felt very well looked after and experienced the wonderful Tanzanian hospitality. Our guide was very knowledgeable, courteous, funny and made us feel really comfortable. He seemed to have a sixth sense when in the National Parks and clearly knew a great deal about animal behavior.
Everything ran smoothly and the accommodation lived up to our expectations.
If you are thinking of booking a safari, I can definitely reccomend Tanzania Horizon Safaris. Our time was definitely a once in a lifetime experience.

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro at best service you can get
I have just returned from a successful 8 day climb of Kilimanjaro on the Lemosho route with Tanzania Horizon Safaris and couldn't recommend this company highly enough, excellent service, guides, cooks and porters.5 star service and was so much more than we expected. Jonas, Gabriel and the team were safety conscious, helpful, professional, funny and generally positive throughout our 8 day lemosho route. The food and service was top notch with a surprisingly good variety. It was a pleasure to summit with these guys. If you want to climb Kilimanjaro, you can't go wrong with Tanzania Horizon Safaris. After our climb we did 5 days safari including Tarangire,Serengeti and Ngorongoro, The lodges and camps are amazing. Everything is so well organised, and what of our perfect guide Noel!!! He's got such a perfect eye, he is a skilled driver and guide, speaking a perfect English, very attentive to all our expectations and concerned about our comfort and security.
