Harrison and the African Hagyfo Safari team are the best in the business. They take care of couples, families and groups of 200 with equal ease. They are professional, honest, safe, and truly local experts. We have been on both a magical second honeymoon Safari with James and they have hosted our entire high school multiple times, safely taking care of about 200 students, teachers, chaperones, and guides. We look forward to life changing adventures with them for a long time!

From start to finish our experience was fabulous! Once in touch with Bernard, we easily communicated via WhatsApp to arrange our trip, he was never pushy and suggested the best options to us. He also helped us with other aspects of our Kenya trip to make sure we had the best experience even before we stayed our Safari.
The Safari itself was perfect! Our driver Wachira is unbelievably knowledgeable about the parks and where to find the animals, we learnt so much from him. We found that we saw a lot more animals than others from alternative companies. Wachira ensured we were always comfortable and well catered for. It was a genuine pleasure to spend a week on safari with him!

Experience the Majesty of Kenya
Peter Ndungu transported our group to and from Sopa Lodge in Maasai Mara, and took us on a full day of safari. With 15 years of experience and thousands of safaris all over Kenya under his belt, he was so knowledgeable about the preserve and its animals. We were so close to the wildlife—5 feet from a mating pair of lions who took refuge from the sun under a Land Rover! We were up close and personal with herds of elephants and water buffalo, giraffes, and even a lounging cheetah! We had so many questions about Kenya, its people and its wildlife, and he was able to answer every one. He was also happy to teach us Swahili along the way. It was the trip of a lifetime. You will not be disappointed.

Dependable Informative comfortable knowledgeable professional
Outstanding experience from start to finish. Our guide Bernard has excellent knowledge of wildlife, habitat, superb driving skills, very pleasant personality.
Saw so much. Incredible experience.
Vehicles are comfortable reliable and capable of handling rugged terrain. Pop up tops allow you take photos without getting sunburned.

Beautiful Kenya Up Close and Personal
Wow! Our fearless and knowledgeable driver, Moses, led us through rugged terrain with ease, pointing out wildlife along the way. He named the animal and fauna and pointed us to descriptions of each one in his safari books. He took us off road so we could get the best views of moving wildlife in their natural habitats. He was personable, thoughtful, and fun always reminding us to hydrate! It was a magical experience! I felt comfortable and safe. When I return to Kenya, I will only choose this company for any of my tours.

Excellent service and communication.
We loved our experience with Hagyko. Bernard was very responsive and communicated frequently throughout the booking/planning process that gave us peace of mind and confidence that everything was being handled. Everything I heard about them was 100% true - and then some!
I had heard a lot of great things about African Hagyko Safaris from trusted friends and family members who had used them in the past. I'll admit I was a bit nervous that my expectations were a bit "built-up" by all the good reports and that in the end I'd be disappointed. Nothing could be further from the truth. They exceeded my expectations in every way! We had the pleasure of having both James and Harrison as drivers for different segments of our trip.
Here are a few things I particularly appreciated:
* Lots of animal sightings! It wasn't luck. James used his knowledge of the animals and his experienced eye, and also used the radio to find out about sightings from other guides.
* Always on time, never rushed. We had a complicated schedule, and despite my and my husband's tendency to be late, James was always patient, always smiling, never making us feel rushed - and always got us to our next thing on time.
* Friendly and knowledgeable. James, through the things he shared, helped us to really connect with the Kenyan people, history and life in general. With him and Harrison, we felt like we were traveling with friends, not a hired company.
* I'd be remiss if I didn't mention James' amazing 90's song playlist for the long drives :)

Once-in-a-lifetime experience
We had an absolutely incredible safari experience with African Hagyko Safaris in Kenya, and a huge part of it was thanks to our amazing guide - Harrison 👏 From the very beginning, it was clear that he is a true professional who genuinely loves what he does. His English was excellent, which made communication easy and enjoyable, and he shared so much knowledge with us throughout the trip.
Harrison is also an extremely experienced and skilled driver — every journey was smooth, comfortable, and felt effortless. Even long drives passed quickly because he made them so engaging and pleasant.
Thanks to his expertise and sharp eye, we were able to see an incredible number of animals during our safari — far more than we ever expected. Harrison knew exactly where to go and when, and his deep understanding of animal behavior allowed us to witness truly special moments. He explained fascinating facts about the wildlife, their habits, and their interactions, which made the whole experience even more meaningful and immersive.
What we especially appreciated was that Harrison always gave us enough time to enjoy each sighting — to observe, take photos, and even watch hunting scenes without feeling rushed.
We are beyond satisfied with this safari and the level of service we received — it exceeded all our expectations. We will absolutely come back again and will recommend this company to all of our friends without hesitation. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, delivered with exceptional professionalism and care 🔥

We feel considered, and expected. Everything is perfect and he is so arranging.
Then, upon our arrival, we had an amazing welcome, as if we were coming home. Bernard welcomed us and introduced us to our guide, Sam.
During our 4-day safari, Sam was really amazing. He went above and beyond to show us the best scenes of animal life. He explained us so many things about the secrets of the wildlife, that was really impressive. He is kind, flexible and really reliable. He showed an amazing sense of service, and a deep expertise in the safari.
Finally, our trip would not have been the same without those guys. They are the best, and they really made us feel home.
