Terrible!!
1/5

DO NOT ruin your Safari! and I suggest anyone considering using this company DO NOT PAY A DEPOSIT. From the initial planning stages, to the final day of our trip we came across issues. They changed the lodge for a tent the same day we arrived.

While all the other guests were able to enjoy early morning and afternoon games(obviously using different companies) we spent our days driving long distances from one place to another and ended up doing only one & half day safari instead three(we paid for 3 days).
On the first day our driver picked us from the hotel at 9:30 am, we drove until 5pm, and we were told there would not be any safari for the first day. whole afternoon was wasted! Is it because the agent want to save the money for entry fees and parking fees for the first day?however, we were charged for 36h Masai Mara safari we barely did 12h.
The same things also happened in the final day. We drove in a lost place in Amboseli, no other companies were in the place we were!!!coincidence?!? We drove in circles for more than 2h without explanation!!
Poorly organised! Picnic food was not provided day 2 and 3.

I never left a negative comment, But this time, I have no reason to be positive since our holiday have been ruined by this company.
I would not recommend using this company to plan your safari, USE SOMEONE ELSE!!!!

Horrible - thieves and scammers - stay away at all costs
1/5

Charles was the highlight of the trip itinerary was not followed, hotels were canceled at the last minute and rebooked with lower quality, balloon trip was canceled at the last minute for no reason which I actually rebooked at 10 o’clock at night as it was a surprise for the family on my own and paid for it even though it had been pre paid

We were scammed with our covid test, they were supposed to come to Our hotel in Tanzania and do the test, we paid an extra thousand dollars for this And they never showed up and told us they were going to take the Antigen test it was taken three days prior at the border coming into Tanzania and turn it into a PCR test which is medically impossible

I don’t know who they paid off at the border to get us through but I know it was illegal. They took our passports, made us wait at a restaurant for 3 hours and then came back with the passports stamped and ready to go across

I have it in writing in a credit memo that they were supposed to come and give me cash ($2900)the night we left but never showed It’s been four months since we left and back-and-forth they were supposed to send me a wire transfer but it never came and now they are ghosting me.

Avoid them at all costs. Any positive reviews must be written by them or their friends

The operator didn't return app. 1000 USD to refund not received service
1/5

Arranged itinerary was not followed at all. The company didn't refund money for different accommodation and mainly for prepaid balloon safari. It means that the tour operator has stolen approximately 1000 USD what I had to pay in advance.

The one (and only) good part of the safari was the driver Charles. He was incredibly knowledgeable, charismatic, talented wildlife spotter, and a safe driver.

Everything else about the safari was a scam - one lie after another. I was told we'd have 4 nights of lodges, but ended up with 1 night in a lodge and the rest in cheap camps/hotels. I was told the lodges were closed, but I called the lodge and confirmed they were open. I was told we couldn't visit a lake due to the weather forecast, but the forecast was perfect. The other tour members were told that we were skipping the lake because I didn't want to go there (outright lies). The itinerary was changed multiple times before we departed, with many destinations removed. To top it off, the owner told me he would meet me at the end of the tour to refund me, and unsurprisingly he never showed up.

Avoid this tour company at all costs. It's not worth ruining your Kenya experience.

Amazing Safari ever!!!!!

Embarking on an Epic Safari with Bon Voyage Safaris: A Journey to Remember in Maasai Mara National Park

My recent 6-day safari with Bon Voyage Safaris to Maasai Mara National Park was an unforgettable adventure that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I was warmly welcomed by their experienced guides, I knew I was in for an extraordinary journey.

Each day was filled with exhilarating wildlife encounters and breathtaking landscapes that left me in awe. From the majestic lions lounging under the acacia trees to the graceful giraffes roaming the vast plains, every sighting felt like a scene from a wildlife documentary come to life. And then there were the iconic elephants, towering over the savannah, and the elusive leopards stealthily prowling through the tall grass – each moment more captivating than the last.

But it wasn't just about the animals; it was the entire experience that made this safari truly special. Bon Voyage Safaris ensured that every aspect of our journey was meticulously planned and executed, from the comfortable accommodations to the delicious meals served under the African sky. Whether we were enjoying a sundowner by the campfire or drifting off to sleep to the sounds of the wilderness, every moment was infused with a sense of magic and wonder.

One of the highlights of the trip was witnessing the Great Migration – a breathtaking spectacle of nature that words alone cannot do justice. As thousands of wildebeest and zebras thundered across the Mara River, braving crocodile-infested waters and perilous currents, I stood in awe of the raw power and resilience of the natural world.

But perhaps what truly set Bon Voyage Safaris apart was the passion and expertise of their guides. Their deep knowledge of the park and its inhabitants enhanced every safari drive, ensuring that we didn't just see the wildlife, but truly understood and appreciated it.

In conclusion, my safari with Bon Voyage Safaris was an experience I will cherish for a lifetime. From the thrilling wildlife sightings to the warm hospitality, every moment was a testament to their commitment to providing unforgettable journeys into the heart of Africa's wilderness. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and I eagerly look forward to my next adventure with them.
