The whole experience has been good from start to finish. Thomas picked us up at the airport when we arrived in Arusha, and we knew right away that he was a good safari-guide (he turned out to be the very best). He reads the room and truly understands what we want and what we need. He is also very experienced and know every single corner of each national park, hotels, stores, tourist interests, etc. on the way. His knowledge about the national parks and wildlife is impressive, and every request we had was fulfilled with great success.
The package he put together for us suited us perfectly. Nice hotels/ lodges, safe and efficient transportation, the homemade food he made and brought on safari (with good wine and coffee as well), enough water throughout the day and perfect service all the time.
He also took good care of us while travelling. We were a group of 7 young girls, and we felt safe all the time.
He also saved us when our flight back got cancelled, and no one at the airport could help. We called him and asked for help for transportation, and after 10 minutes he had fixed the whole trip (8 hours drive) back. This was after his work originally was finished.
We only have positive things to say about the company and our fantastic guide, Thomas. When I am going back to Tanzania for safari, I will definitely book through Kima Adventures and ask for Thomas. And you should as well!

Couldn’t have had a better Safari experience!!
My Safari experience was absolutely amazing and exceeded all expectations. Our guide, Thomas, made us feel so well taken care of. We had two full days of Safari, and Thomas had everything planned for us from start to finish, while still listening to our wishes and preferences.
Each day he brought a fantastic homemade lunch and wine. He arranged incredible hotels for us and even joined us for dinner and breakfast, which was so lovely. Thomas is a warm and kind person who made the Safari experience special and personal.
When we ran into travel trouble on our way home and our flight was canceled, Thomas immediately stepped in and made sure we got home safely!

The best safari guide we could ever have asked for – thank you, Thomas!
From the very first moment we arrived in Arusha, we knew we were in good hands.
Thomas met us at the airport with the biggest smile and the coolest safari outfit (seriously — matching colors and a cowboy hat to top it off!). But what really stood out was who he is as a person: kind, calm, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. Traveling as a group of seven, he made every single one of us feel safe, seen, and important from start to finish.
Our safari days were beyond magical.
In Tarangire National Park we saw our first zebras and giraffes, and Thomas shared so many fascinating facts about the animals and the landscape. He even surprised us with a beautifully set lunch right in the park — warm food, tablecloth, wine… eating in the middle of the savannah felt surreal.
Day two took us to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, and honestly, it’s hard to put into words what that place feels like. Lions with cubs, elephants, rhinos, hippos, huge herds of wildebeest and zebra — all surrounded by mountains and fresh highland air. Thomas somehow always knew where to go, positioning the car perfectly so we could truly take everything in without ever feeling rushed.
Lunch that day was again something special: hot food, wine, and even freshly brewed coffee from beans grown near Mount Kilimanjaro — all while hippos grunted in the water nearby. Moments like that stay with you forever.
We stayed overnight at Karatu Villa Lodge and later Octagon Lodge, and Thomas joined us for dinners filled with laughter, stories, and reflections on everything we’d experienced. On our last evening he even gave a heartfelt thank-you speech, ordered champagne, and somehow turned the whole restaurant into a sing-along. It was such a beautiful way to end our adventure.
Beyond being an exceptional driver and guide, Thomas shared parts of his own life with us — his family, his home, his love for his country — which made the whole journey feel personal and meaningful. He didn’t just show us Tanzania; he helped us feel it.
We traveled via Zanzibar City and back again, but Thomas was the constant that made everything smooth, relaxed, and joyful.
If you’re considering a safari and want someone who truly cares, who knows the parks inside out, and who will go above and beyond to make your trip unforgettable — Thomas is your guy.
This wasn’t just a safari. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

This was the best start we could have for our honeymoon-trip to Tanzania.
We were so happy about the guiding we had in Mikumi this month. Seeing Mikumi was an absolute bucket-list experience. BUt when you do so there are a few things that really matter.
The company designed and offered the safari in a very appealing way. And they delivered!
Every appointment were met according to what we had agreed on. And that started already with the welcoming and helpful support at the airport in Dar Es Salaam.
We felt safe all the way. That is so thanks to Thomas, our guide. He must be the best in the whole business. When you see lions multiple times in one day, he knows where to go and when. And he kept in contact with colleagues so we came to scenes other had found. His driving in challenging paths felt safe and with low risk. Thanks Thomas! That really meant a lot to us.
He explained and told stories, with balance. Not to little and not to much. That takes skills, and Thomas has a nose for this.
He made us see more than we imagined we could be able to see in 1,5 days. And he found Bastian where we stayed for two nights and he made them wellcome us in a wonderful way!

Efficient
Safari with our Guide Thomas was a great experience.We felt taken care of.Service was a really five star, journey to the Mikumi Park, although very long,was comfortable due to the really comfy car.
We have seen a lot of Animals and found out from Thomas a lot a interesting facts about Tanzania in general,and the animals.

Really organized and authentic!
Kima Adventours organized an amazing trip for our group all the way from Tanga and back. The hotel were really authentic with good service and food. The drivers drove safely around in the park and had a lot of interesting knowledge of the wild life.
