I cannot recommend this bunch highly enough.
We've just completed the Mt Kenya Traverse and from word go Adventure Alternative have been fantastic. I have little experience with altitude and they answered every question, what to expect, what to pack, when is the best time, etc, honestly, openly and very promptly. Our guide Francis and the whole Team were fantastic. The obvious respect they have for their local communities, environment and Adventure Alternative is infectious and inspirational. They certainly made our trip and added a whole new dimension to traversing Mt Kenya and being lucky enough to experience some of what Kenya has to offer. My reason for ultimately choosing to go with Adventure Alternative is the charities they have started and support. I had the privilege of spending a day with Moving Mountains in Embu. Visiting a school and seeing the incredible difference they are making to so many kids was a very humbling and amazing experience. Ruth, Lilian, Milicent, Janet and the whole Team - what legends!
