Makario safari help me to recapture the whole love in Rwanda. Gorilla trekking and nyungwe forest.we enjoy our vacation that was professionally handled from our stay in Rwanda. Our tour driver was very accommodating, has great wealth of knowledge demeanor,made our trip transition smoothly, Mwaka was also available by phone and helped any last minutes question we had as well recommend some activities we could undertake along our route.
I highly recommend makario safari, for anyone seeking to travel in one of East Africa destination.

Makario Safaris provided us a warm, thoughtful, safe extraordinary experience.
Makario Safaris provided us an itinerary and an experience that was thoughtful for our group of 5 and it exceeded our expectations. We were greeted from the start and ushered through our itinerary with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our driver,Peter, was very personable and a perfect host. He gave us information about the country, kindly kept us on schedule and helped us find certain unscheduled shopping places for first aid supplies etc. We all became quite attached to him. The hotels we stayed in (Serena Hotel in Kigali and Virunga Lodge) were perfect and wonderful and we had smooth and fascinating treks to the Mountain Gorillas and the Golden Monkeys. I would love to do it all over again and I would not hesitate to use Makario Safaris again.

Let me start by saying that Makario Safaris contact person, M/S Mwaka , was very helpful and provided service beyond expectations.
Any emails, calls and messages were responded to timeously, without delay, and the responses were relevant to my queries. Any time I was told that they would revert, this would happen in a timeous way.
Makario are very knowledgeable in the offerings in Rwanda, the Great Lakes region as well as East Africa.They will make you feel "at home", away from home.

Our time in Rwanda trekking to the mountain gorillas and golden monkeys was absolutely amazing.
Our time in Rwanda was perfect from the moment we met Jean Marie at the airport upon arrival until he left us at the airport on our departure. My daughter and I fell in love with Rwanda and its beautiful people. Jean Marie was wonderful, such a kind and caring person. He is the perfect ambassador for Rwanda. Our time with the the gorillas was breathtaking. Everything was so organized. It is an experience we will always cherish. The tour exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed seeing some of Rwanda in the afternoons after our morning treks. We also enjoyed our visit with the golden monkeys. It was a fun way to end our visit. We highly recommend Makario Safaris.
