Awesomest tour guide In Uganda!
Bujo Safaris, Owner Johnson Burihose is the best!
I’ve hired his services for my two Safaris when I was leading, first a Sister Cities delegation of 13 people in 2015, then a Rotary delegation of 4 people in 2019.
In both trips Johnson has been excellent.
All my delegates were very impressed with his quality of tourguide services for our Safaris. Uganda can be a complicated place so it’s essential to have a really good tour guide.
Johnson had plenty of communication with us to ensure all our members interests were taking care of, arranging our tricky scheduling and levels of hotel accommodations, He even did tough negotiations during our trip at each hotel to get us some very good prices for some really great places to stay.
Uganda has incredible people, wildlife and natural beauty. Bujo Safaris is the best way to make most of your trip.
Bujo’s prices are quite moderate and their service excellent— always on time, plenty of communication to make sure our schedule and interests were accommodated.
If you travel anywhere in Uganda you must hire Bujo Safaris to guide you!
Owner Johnson Burihose is the awesomest tourguide in Uganda.

Memorable safari
A fantastic experience! The safari was well organized and exactly what we expected from Bujo Safari staff. Johnson knew the Queen Elizabeth’s Park well and we were confident in his driving and keeping us safe at all times! We managed to see so many animals in the wild. It was a once of a lifetime visit. I highly recommend Bujo Safaris

Caring, Considerate and knowledgeable Uganda Guide
9d trip: incredible nature, game lodges, gorillas!
An honest tour group
For various reasons, I wasn't able to go on a tour with Bujo Safaris, but I can tell you that they are an honest business. They did all they could to help me recover my deposit. There's a lot that could be said about this tour group, but I'll simply say that they are ethical and professional in their dealings with clients.

I Found A Diamond In The Pearl Of Africa
My journey in Uganda began and ended as most do at the Entebbe International Airport. Our group (from the Santa Cruz Sister City delegation) was greeted by Mr. Johnson Burihose, the owner of BuJo Safaris (representing his first and last names). Johnson is a very conscientious soft spoken man who loves his country Uganda and is eager to share it with those who are lucky enough find his company and visit Uganda. Upon landing, Johnson attended to our luggage, loaded us all into his vehicles and off we went to our first of many charming hotels. BuJo Safaris guide Baso (who was very knowledgeable and professional member of Johnson's team) led us on a trip into Queen Elizabeth National Park where we experienced the Climbing Lions up close and personal. Seeing their golden eyes, hearing their growls out in their surrounding was to date a dream come true. We visited Kibale National Park where our trek led us into the forest to hopefully get a glimpse of Chimpanzees, our glimpse became another experience of a lifetime. As we walked, we found ourselves in the middle of a Chimpanzee highway, they were passing beside us (within feet) and above us singing to one another as they would leap from treetop to treetop. It was a very powerful experience. Baso took us to the Kazinga Channel (which connects Lakes George and Edward) where we boarded a boat and floated down the channel while watching herds of elephants and hippos (seeing them live gives you a true idea of their size, beauty and grace), as well as hundreds of birds. It is a must see for any bird lover. We were also lucky enough to visit a Coffee Plantation and buy some Ugandan coffee. In addition to all of this amazing adventures, Mr. Johnson Burihose took us to the Equator! Johnson and Baso made sure our trip was magically, purposeful, breathtaking and one I will never forget. They have become wonderful friends and I can hardly wait to visit the place Winston Churchill called The Pearl of Africa. It is a true gem, as are the people I was blessed to meet while there.

Johnson was a caring, knowledgeable guide and tour operator who was exceptional.
Johnson as the guide and Bujo Safari operator did everything he could to make sure we were safe and well cared for. From the headwaters of the Nile to doing a Mt. Gorilla Trek in the Inpenatrable Forest and through Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Rhino Preserve, we had an exciting adventure at a budget price. We experienced the rush of Murchison Falls from below and above, a boat ride through a river narrow full of hippos, crocks, elephants buffalo, and wart hogs plus amazing flocks of birds. Climbing Lions, a Chimp Trek and and the Mt. Gorilla Trek all done safely. Johnson stayed in constant communication with us prior to the trip to make sure our questions were answered.

Amazing in all aspects!
I am doing ( solo traveler ) a month and a half around East Africa. In Uganda I booked a 7 days custom tailored you with Bujo Safaris, that covered Kigali , Queen Elisabeth, Bwindi, Mgahinga and Lake Bunyonyi.
All the way, everything went perfect. From the beginning, Johnson helped with the fine tuning and optimization of the itinerary ( important for me

Once in a lifetime trip!!
My partner and I booked an 11 day tour with Bujo Safaris starting on the 3rd of September 2022. The plan was to leave from Kampala and visit many of Uganda’s attractions: Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth NP, Kibale NP, Bwindi NP, Lake Mburo NP, Lake Bunyonyi, and more. What can I say? Everything went perfectly according to plan and this tour has exceeded our expectations! Johnson is an excellent driver and has always made sure that we were taken care of and that we would not miss any of our activities. You can tell that nothing made him happier than seeing us being mindblown by Uganda’s incredibly beautiful nature, animals and people. When we had small mechanical issues, he reacted very quickly to find suitable solutions while the car was being fixed so that it wouldn’t delay our trip.
Would highly recommend Bujo Safaris to anyone going to Uganda in the blink of an eye!

Amazing tour
Awesome tour with Bujo Safaris, Johnson is always there to take care of everything and make sure you enjoy every minute of it! The service is very personalised as it is a smaller company which is amazing. We personalised our tour as we wanted to do extra things and it all went really well. All the places we stayed at were great and the service was really good too. Johnson will go out of his way to provide the very best tour experience for you. Recommended 100%!
