Best deal in town. Jason accommodates all our needs. It’s a one day tour. Very efficient for people who are not in town for many days

Definitely would recommend
Our driver and guide was Andrew
He was so sweet and patient, never rushing us. Explained a lot of stuff and culture us. He made sure we were always doing okay and made sure we were taken care of. The trip it self was everything o could have asked for. Seekng the gorillas and chimpanzee. Walking in the community. I do plan on coming again and hopefully I can have Andrew again. He and I are now friends for life.

Great tour!
Really great gorilla trekking experience. Jason (owner) was super helpful and responsive - always replied promptly & accommodated my last minute request.
My guide Samuel was awesome and I’d recommend that you request him. He is a very positive person and loves to have a chat if you have questions, or allows for a chill ride if you’re looking for quiet. You really can make it your own.
I arrived in Kigali and spent the night in Bwindi park. Originally I was going to do a same day tour but Jason recommended this option and I’m happy he did. Ichumbi Hotels kisoro I stayed at was really nice and I wish I had more time there, so try to arrive earlier than nighttime.
If you do the local village tour near the gorilla trekking, bring some food or even clothes for them.

Great Experience
I did a 2day trip from Kigali to Akagera and it was a great experience - everything was perfectly organised and Rowland did a great job of driving me around in the park, trying to get as many sightings as possible, giving many explanations to what we saw (even knowing all the birds!) and takting very well care of me. The night in Akagera lodge was unforgettable as well and I definitly want to come back for many more tours

Amazing experience
We loved Uganda and Safari Vacations and Travel Services. We used them to travel from Kigali to Bwindi, and spent three nights there at Kaara Lodge. Jason the owner was extremely helpful and answered all emails quickly, and amended the itinerary to suit us. Our guide Edgar was the best, he was always on time, drove carefully, and answered any questions we had. When we found ourselves with an afternoon spare he suggested different activities we could do. It was a bucketlist holiday, the gorillas were just incredible, and we also enjoyed visiting the local tribes and seeing the beautiful Ugandan scenery. Would highly recommend this company for the service and price.

Our experience with Safari Vacations Tour Agency was super nice from start to finish. This was not just a safari—it was a holistic, deeply immersive journey into Uganda’s landscapes, wildlife, and communities.
The wildlife and scenery were absolutely next level. From dramatic landscapes to jaw-dropping animal encounters, every day delivered moments that felt unreal. Beyond nature, what truly elevated the experience was the human side: everywhere we went, people were genuinely warm, welcoming, and proud to share their country with us. You really feel connected to Uganda, not just passing through it.
A massive highlight was our guide, Smith. His positive energy, deep local knowledge, and passion for Uganda set the tone for the entire trip. He consistently went above and beyond to show us the best of his country and make every moment meaningful. If you’re booking with this agency, I highly recommend asking for Smith—he’s a real asset and makes the experience exceptional.
If there’s one area for improvement, it would be planning a bit more activity density on certain days. We’re very energetic travelers and had a few days with extra free time where we would have happily added more experiences. This is something that could easily be anticipated and fine-tuned before the trip.
Overall, an incredible experience that exceeded expectations. We’re already looking back at photos from the journey and reliving the highlights. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, high-impact way to experience Uganda.
