Great Trip with such lovely people
We saw so many animals and everything felt like a fantastic adventure. It was the most amazing and wonderful experience and the best holiday. The camp was lovely and our tents were superb. On our drives, our guide was patient and knowledgeable. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable.

Almost a Perfect Trip
I contacted Boundless Africa Journeys to set up a trip for three adult couples. We all communicated with Annette who was very prompt with replies and help. She handled all of our communications professionally. We were all quite hesitant to send deposits half way around the world, but everything worked out smoothly, as hoped. We did the 12-Day Kenya/Tanzania Safari, but we also wanted to add time in another park. The next day Annette sent us a new itinerary--all taken care of. She and our guide met us at the airport (they did a lot of waiting around for us) and shuttled us to our Nairobi hotel. We stayed an extra day in Nairobi to take advantage of Annette's free tour to see the baby elephants and feed the giraffes.
Our lodges, tents, food, and guides were terrific. As were our 4-wheel drive Land Rovers. We had our own vehicle and guide. We felt safe at all times while on safari. We also felt safe in the tents and followed the advise of the operators very closely! We loved the tents with the animals outside; quite luxurious. The lodging was so great and comfortable that on some days we asked our guides for shorter safaris so we could lounge about in the lodges. We saw a ton of animals every day and every day yielded something spectacular. The guides (Enoch and Lawrence) really went all out to show us the best of the parks we visited. They were very knowledgeable about the area and animals (and knew where to find them).
The border crossings were quite time consuming and the online visa applications were tedious and frustrating. A lot of time was spent waiting at park entrances, but as they say in Swahili (I think), "Pole, pole." Slowly, slowly.
This trip would have been absolutely excellent had Annette not forgotten to pay for two of the park entrance fees in Tanzania. We had to pay $1300 by credit card and it was a another time consuming process. We felt lucky to be able to enter the parks since it's standard to prepay. We also had to pay higher fees than Annette could have gotten by prepaying. Entrance to all the parks was part of our itinerary. So we expected Annette to reimburse us 100% of what we paid. AND SHE DID, but it took a month and a lot of anxiety on our part! It was an oversight on her part. It happens. It worked out just fine over all, and I would not hesitate to work with Annette and Boundless Africa Journeys for my next trip to Africa.

Finding gold in 10 days East African Treasures
Very kind and friendly communication with Anette of Boundless African Journey, including helpful hints for people coming first time to Africa. Booking the 10 day safari tour including payment options was easily done. The described itinerary was fully matched in Kenia and Tanzania, exceeding my expectations with excellent selection of camps and hotels. Very knowledgeable, considerate, punctual and welcoming English speaking drivers in both countries with sturdy 4x4 vehicles permitted safe travels and made an unforgettable photography safari experience possible by finding the right spots. I will for sure contact Boundless African Journey for a next trip to Kenia and Tanzania.

Really nice safari experience!
Communication with Annette (the person of contact) was very easy and pleasant and she was always available to help with the planning and flexible to accommodate our requests. Charles was our driver and he was fantastic! He did everything possible to keep us always happy and he really makes the effort to provide the best service possible. Considering the hotels we stayed in and the way we were treated the price-quality ratio is really good and therefore I can only reccomend to book a safari with Boundless Africa.

Excellent First Experience in the Wilderness
I felt like I had arrived home from the moment I walked into our camp. I got to know the locals and feel welcome. We watched the wildebeest crossing and saw an abundance of animal and bird activity on our drives. The game drives were brilliant with very friendly and knowledgeable guide.
I do hope I get to return!

Amazing
This was our second trip with BAJ. We had amazing 3 nights at Mara. Our camp was right beside Mara river. It was incredible to sleep hearing the hippos and have breakfast close to them. The staff was very helpful and the location is great. An exquisite camp tucked in the Mara bush, calm and relaxing atmosphere. Hippo viewing and fantastic location for good game drives. The diver was informative and keen to share his immense knowledge about the Mara and wildlife.

My grandsons first holiday in Kenya.
What can I say. Absolutely fabulous. From the very first communication with Annette, to being dropped off at the airport by Enoch. This company is superb. The reason for the trip to educate my two grandsons, age 9/11. Far better than sitting in a classroom. Annette kept us inform at every stage of the booking process. Recommended the best hotels, for our needs.. I must say that the hotels were in the superior bracket, and wonderful. The food and staff where second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. Our boys were well looked after. The hotels Mara Game Lodge and Lion Lodge. Our driver Enoch was a delightful man, very caring. A very safe driver and amazing guide. The amount of wildlife we encounter was truly overwhelming. Lastly please may I thank you both for being such lovely people, and wish the company all the luck in the world, for your continuing success.

Amazing Kenya/Tanzania Safari Experience
This was our first trip to Africa with a 12 day Kenya/Tanzania Safari. It was such an amazing experience, such an enjoyable trip despite the immense travel distance between the several national parks; really wish we had done this trip sooner in our life. We will definetly come back with our kids next time.
From the initial quote request Annette was prompt in answering all questions and setting up the tour package. We got our e-visas for both countries online and made sure we had our yellow fever certificate too. Annette received us at Nairobi airport and put us in the hands of excellent guide/driver (Shadrack in Kenya and Ibrahim in Tanzania). We had 4 star lodges in Kenya and tented camps/smaller lodges in Tanzania but the service and food in all of them were superb. We visited Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengiti, NgoroNgoro, Taringire and Amboseli parks and enjoyed all of them. We especially wanted to take time for photographing the animals but also birds/sunsets and both guides were patient and gave us plenty of time and answered all our questions. We must have taken over 3000 photos/videos. We also visited a masai village and had plenty of stops to buy local handicrafts as well. Annette met us again on the last day for dinner in Nairobi and dropped us off at the airport. The border crossing at Isebania took about 1.5hrs but the crossing back at Namanga was fairly quick as both countries offices were in one building. The weather in June was perfect; cool morning/evenings with warm mid-days. the parks were not too crowded either. The roads into and out of Serengiti are quite dusty, so be prepared for that. All in all it was a wonderful trip, we were well taken care from the minute we stepped down into Nairobi till we left.

Flawless
I strongly recommend Boundless Africa for your safari experience. I went to both Kenya and Tanzania and cannot say a single bad thing about my experience. Accommodations were perfect! Great location, very clean rooms and extremely helpful staff. You will certainly not be disappointed, make sure you book a tented camp in your tour - definitely worth it. A special call out to the guides. Ask for Anthony (Kenya) and Vincent (Tanzania). They were both extremely knowledgeable, fun and willing to put up with our endless photo sessions of animals! Just perfect!

Wonderful Trip
Boundless Africa Journeys were able to customize the safari holiday to our requirements. From the moment we started our tour, we felt comfortable that our holiday was going to be a success. The accommodation selected was a great mix of tented camps and very nice hotels. We very much appreciated that the camp was inside the reserve. All in all a wonderful experience. I highly recommend!
